I don't lynch upon the hammer vote, but I will lynch a player that has been hammered if I am online.

 

Why is everyone voting to off Ed when this really isn't a hammer situation if Pete doesn't see it? If he is town aligned it just means losing 2 on day 1 instead of just 1. What's that about?

I'm thinking Ed's claim of being a townie with two kills was more a desperate bid to get someone to change their vote before Pete comes online. He appears to be the scummiest and was well on the way to a lynch anyway, when Min was killed. There's always the risk of being wrong; I just happen to think he's scum. Why let him live, in that case?

 

And besides, he stupidly voted himself. :P

And also...if you were one vote away from a lynch and you were town, wouldn't the smart thing be to reveal BEFORE killing yourself? most people start defending themselves when they're two or three from a lynch. Why did Ed only spam? Knew he had no way out? That's my thinking anyway.

All right, he votes for himself, believes he has the hammer vote, believes he is now dead, admits to being town, people continue to vote for him. Ed always seems scummy, but in this case his stupidity  ;D works in our favor. Because he believed he was dead he was more than likely telling the truth about being town. The real idiots will be us if we don't retract the votes and keep him alive. How many of us have lynched an innocent? A finder, a healer, because they seemed scummy at the time. We all make mistakes. Oops, he offed a townie. I'll bet everybody in this game(unless it's their first) has offed/bandwagoned an innocent by accident. Let's avoid that mistake right now and try to get one of the bad guys.

And would you put a vote on yourself when you were at L-1? And mafia? I don't think so. That's pretty much a death sentence. You've seen how many people have voted for him since he put the hammer on himself. I'm saying you're all going to lynch another townie,then we're gonna lose another at night and it all just seems so pointless. I guess we'll see what happens when Pete shows up or the deadline rolls around. I personally believe he is a townie and you're all making a mistake in taking him out.

Look at it this way - we stand to gain the most info by lynching ed now - he has insured that with his claim.

 

* If he is telling the truth, we have learned a lot about what kind of roles are out there.

* If he is lying, we ned to go back and find out who he is covering before, because they very well might have another daykill.

* Lavinya is making sense to me.

 

Trying to pull back from a lynch at this point is not a great idea - look at the deadline.  This is mafia, townies die. Especially when they hammer themselves.  :P

 

The right play is to let the lynch stand, sober everyone up and get the innocents to start playing instead of messing around.

Even if enough people took their vote off of Ed before Pete got here that would just result in a random mod lynch.  That might hit the healer or the finder and they'd have NO way to defend themselves.
