Looking at the night ending post again, it looks like Al was killed by time. Can anyone think of who could kill by aging something? The only thing that comes to mind is when Master (YANUS) aged the Doctor. I don't know if he's our SK, but I think it's an idea we can toy with for the moment. I found no hint as to who the killer might be. As I said, Verbal was my only real suspect and everyone else seems to think he's telling the truth. So, [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow] until I find someone that deserves it. I will say that if nothing else shows close to deadline, I will revote Verbal.

I knew Rey borrowed from you, but I didn't know which pieces.  :)  I didn't read circus, (it was in sign-ups when I started playing my very first game and I thought I'd get confused) but it's on my to-do list.  And it's totally unsurprising to me that the framer role came out of your head.  Creativity from the mods is why I'm in the games I picked this go around.  ;)

I think it's awesome that with so many mafia games being played and so many roles that somebody is still creative enough to create new roles.  ;D

To me the most suspicious thing to happen this game day is voting for Verbal based on a PR.  Definitely when I re-read tomorrow I'll be keeping aemon and Lavinya in mind.

Have you got something better to go off? I believe the post restriction was somehow based on what kind of character he was - a cyberman, which is a bad guy in the show. Hence the belief it may have indicated he was scum.

 

Right now, I have nothing better to base my vote on. If you can show me a better lynch target by all means I will change my vote.

That's likely a function of multiple people coming up with similar types of roles.  I saw a framer role on another site a couple of years ago, but the creative mods (and Pete, Lily, Nae, DPR, Kiv, etc etc all qualify) will probably overlap a bit on roles they "create"....ya know?

Another thing that raises eyebrows is looking for an excuse...any excuse...to place a mid-game vote on somebody.  That's the most likely time to out mafia (mid-game).  Early and they can claim random, OMGUS, whatever.....and late they have a whole game of potential posts to use as reasoning, but mid-game....that's the hot spot.

I have been in countless games where a mid-game vote on someone with no reasoning brought on the lynch of that voter.  In this game when I have no suspicions, the same as just about everybody, I thought it was a good enough reason to get the votes flowing.  Now, to clarify, I do not think that Anox is scum just for voting without a reason.  I do think it is a good excuse to get people to pay attention to some of their own suspicions.  At this point, I am no more intent on getting Anox lynched as I am with everybody else, but it got you to pay attention huh?  ;)

Well, we still have until tomorrow eveming. I still feel that Verbal is our best bet for scum right now. Unfortunately, 90% of our players seem to be asleep at the wheel. If they don't start posting, we won't even be able to get a majority and we'll get a modkill instead. I absolutely hate that.

So I'm about halfway through my re-read, but my mother-in-law has been here for 20 minutes so I'd better go visit.

 

So far nothing new stands out in terms of scumminess.  I think I know 2 players who are innocent, but I'll feel better about the second when I finish the re-read.
