My role showed me what you did last night.  I have said this several different ways since the beginning.  Starting with "I prefer being initiated."  What's another word for initiation?  Recruitment.  I was hinting that I knew you recruted but I hate going against you because you have a away with twisting words quite well.

 

Well, there's not much twist in these words: You are lying.

 

You're lying to try and get me lynched. Which is why you story grows, and changes, and evolves to fit all of my responses.

 

If you were innocent, you would have just come right out and revealed if you saw me recruiting, knowing that mt lynch would back up your claim.  What you are doing now smacks of desperate scumminess.

Okay, I've been following, and so far I'm not sure if I believe Nae and Aemon because they seem to be teaming up very efficiently, covering both ends of the theory about DPR, and I can't say that I trust people teaming up this early in a game, seeing as how they shouldn't know if they should be arguing together or not. Imagine, one dies, gets revealed as scum, and the other one will automatically be assumed as scum, just because of the teamwork, it just doesn't seem smart to me. However, I believe Nae more than I believe Aemon soooo...

Like I said.. the only "teaming up" thing is that we both agree DPR is scum.  It would be incredibly stupid if we were a team together to both so strongly agree against dpr knowing, as you said Adella, all it would take was viewing one to check that.  I have no idea of Aemon's alignment.  For all I know he's with DPR as cult.  Checking him won't clear me and checking me won't clear him.  Check DPR if he comes up as anything but cult then by all means lynch me tommorow.  I'll repeat I have not once changed my story.  I have been on DPR since my first post of the day and I tried to make people see it by casing him instead of flat out saying " My role allowed me to see that DPR recruited someone last night"  Lavi I see what you mean by people not getting it and your frustration because of it.  I apologize now for griping at you for it.  I have hinted for a long time now about DPR and recruitments and the watcher role.  I'm not just suddenly pulling it out of my butt here.

Lav I have never once changed up my story.  Wes recruited someone last night.  It makes sense that the cult leader would be the werewolf a la the show.  That's why I started suggesting that.  No matter what he is he DID recruit someone last night my dear.  I don't lynch DPR just becuase he's a clever player.  I love having him in the games and hate when people take him out early without checking him.  WHich is exactly why he is who I checked when I found I had a watcher role.  I say you are full of bull crap to try the stupid "they must be working together" line just because we agree.

 

Can I make it any clearer for you?  I GOT INFO LAST NIGHT FROM THE MOD THAT SAID DPR RECRUITED SOMEONE.  To me that screams cult and I have hinted that that is what he has done most of the day and he knows I know he did it and thats why hes trying to throw it back in my face instead of owning up to it and saying yeah.. im a mason group who got a recruit or something along those lines.

 

So you are saying he recruited. Since he is flat out saying he didn't you believe he is in a anti-town cult. Correct? I've seen two town-aligned cults so far and this is game 8. However I think that a mafia cult is more probable like you have said. I don't think it is productive to have a lot of reveals though. More "Confirmed" innocents makes it harder on the healer and easier for the mafia to pick and choose who they want, because they can just fake claim. For now I'll wait to see how this plays out. How long until the day ends?

Al I'm not fake claiming.  Believe me when I say I'd be incredibly stupid to fake claim and pick DPR out of all the players to go after.  He thinks the same towards me.  That is why in Red's game I was killed night one.  DPR made a dumb claim in that and he knew I'd see right thru it.  If I was mafia and gonna do a dumb fake reveal I'd have offed him before trying it.  He is my mafia mentor and who I went to to learn more about the game.  I know how he works and he knows how I work.  That's why I'd never do something like this unless I really did have the info on him.  I don't have a death wish and I couldn't begin to go up against him in a battle of wits so why would I do it with a fake claim?

I'm curious Nae - did you learn his alignment, or only that he recruited? I'm not saying I totally disbelieve you, but I'm not entirely convinced as yet that DPR is scum. You do look scummy, however I understand your motivation and method, if what you say is true.

I don't think Nae and Aemon are on the same team.  They could both be scum but I really don't see them being on the same team and working together so openly, unless they thought someone would think that...etc.  It's really hard to say anymore what people will and won't do in a mafia game because everyone tries to predict what everyone else will think of everything...that sounds really confusing huh?  

 

Anyway, DPR is trying to play everything off as a big joke and that in itself makes me believe Nae's claim even more, I also feel that Nae's agruing is genuine and yes, the only reasoning I have for this is because I have a feeling.  That feeling comes from having been there myself, with no one believing my claim, getting so frustrated, trying any way of explaining that would make people believe me.  I could be wrong about this, but hey, that wouldn't be anything new. It is a watcher type role.  I pick a name, send it in to Pete, and get told what that person did at night.  Obviously I'd pick someone like DPR... call it big game hunting but I like to know if he is innocent or not.  As innocent he's incredibly helpful... as scum he is deadly.  All I was told is that DPR recruited someone.  Not who he recruited or what his alignment is.  That's why I cased his posts and saw a bunch of worthless spam and the few game relevent posts were pretty well mush as well.  When I hinted at knowing he recruited, several times hinted.. instead of taking that and proving his innocence he decided to attack me for it and try to throw it back on me.  To me that screams that he is scum and gonna play with me to get me lynched instead.  If he were innocent he'd have picked up on my hints and took it a different direction.

But first things first, a quick round-up of where I'm at.

 

* I didn't recruit anyone last night. Plain and simple.

* But it's smart to say I did because the finder can't counter claim it, and the chances of there being another watcher who viewed me last night are next to zero.

 

I joke a lot, yes, mostly because I'm an incorrigible smart-alec, but also because it's a play style that works with my rep. And, seriously, my rep is a major factor in how I have to play - it's not like I can ignore it.

 

If you look back, 95% of the votes against me in this game are based on my rep - not evidence, but just my rep.

 

I have people in both games I'm in chasing me down because of who I am, not how I played in the game. So, I have to try and work past that. Humor does wonders.

 

Now, back to Nae.

 

I did point out a while back that she and Aemon seemed to be in cahoots. I also pointed out that a real watcher would have come right out at the beginning of the day and pointed the FOS directly at me. It's what I would have done. So I know that Nae is not telling the truth, she's too good of a p;layer to make that mistake.

 

I figure her and Aemon are mafia, and they need me out of the way to work a plan. Occam's razor, you know?

I'm not voting you because of your reputation.  I did chose you to watch because of it. ;)  I'm voting you because I know you recruited someone last night.  I voted for you, cased you and found nothing to convince me you were even making much in the way of significant posts, and hinted several times about knowing you recruited.  Would you like me to go pull all the posts I made with hints and show you?  Two votes on you isn't much and certainly wouldn't make you even bat an eyelash.  Had you done anything in the way of showing you were innocent and that it was a mason type recruit instead of a scum one I'd have taken my vote off.  Instead you come back at me with borderline insults on my playstyle and that it's just an elaborate ruse to lynch you.  All in a jokey condesending manner.  Don't worry I'm not taking the insults to heart because I know you are just doing it to try to rile me up.  I know you really love me. :P

 

Believe me when I say I'd have picked ANYONE else to target if I was lying about the information I received last night.  I actually love playing games with you for one.  You make the games fun.  It's a shame we never last long together in games because we always end up targeting each other. :P
