The weirdest thing I find about this theory that Pete and I are mafia is that, you guys really think I could make up that crazy finding role, the odd/even thing? :P Well, I guess Jeran did, so someone came up with it. But it seems a bit elaborate of a fake claim to make, to me. Plus, me being blocked isn't much of a stretch; mafia often have a roleblocking power. Check out the mafia wiki ;)

 

Pete, I agree on looking at Cuba and Crafty if I get the chance, though I don't need to use you. I'm allowed to send in my own name. That's what would have happened last night - I sent in me, Tynaal, and you (Pete). If I had gotten even, we would know for sure that Talmanes is not town. If I'd gotten odd, Talmanes would be cleared, and it would've been down to Tynaal or Pete as non-town (in which case I probably would've gone with Tynaal).

 

Then, I think for my second set I sent in Lia, me, and Talmanes, which would have told us about Lia for sure, but, well, she died.

Yes it is an elaborate ruse to go through for the two of you if it is a ruse, and not the truth.  All I am saying is between Talmanes and Pete, my gut is saying Pete.

I really dislike it when players tell Finders who to look at or Healers who to guard. It just gives the mafia an open invitation to wreak havoc.

 

Don't forget, we could also have a cult team, which is a threat to the town and will not show up in Alanna's test as being innocent or mafia.

Well, could be. But a Godfather with the power to double night actions? Because he obviously has that ability, unless it's someone else who hasn't revealed. At which point, they should reveal.

 

Also, I would cult not show up? My test doesn't tell me if someone is innocent or mafia, it tells me if they're non-town. Cult is non-town, isn't it? Although Pete could have been recruited since I looked at him, that is true.

Second, Convoluted false claims of being are Finder are always better them claiming a vanilla role so that the Claimer can explain away a "bad' finding or a no finding. I find it strange that pete would have gone of his way and claimed an important town role when he really did not have to. Do you really expect me to believe that a Towny would reveal without any need thus making himself a prime target?

 

Like I said Alanna and Pete smell funny to me. I may be wrong but their actions just seem to suspicious to me to be those of townies especially goming from a very experience player (Pete) and one that refutes being experience but says she has played 9 or 10 complete games (what exactly does that mean, that she lasted to the end of 9 or 10 games but was killed off iprior to the last day in the other games she played?).

I don't think that Pete is the mafia godfather guiding Alanna into making the wrong call.  Would Jeran have given the godfather a power doubling role?  If not, then why did Alanna claim her power was doubled?  I think it is overwhelmingly likely that Alanna and Pete have the same alignment.  Right now I think that alignment is town.  Also, how do you know cult wouldn't show up as something in Alanna's test?  If I recall correctly, Alanna said her findings give her the parity of the number of anti-town players among the three she selected.

Well, I don't know about Pete. In case I haven't made it clear, I do not 100% believe Pete is innocent. It just seems more likely to me at this moment that Talmanes or Tynaal are non-town. Even before he doubled my action last night, they were pinging my radar more than he was. I did think it was weird that he claimed when he only had 3 votes on him - I think whether he is innocent or not, he is smarter than that.

 

But where are my actions suspicious? I waited until the very last minute to claim - we only had a few minutes to the deadline and one more vote would have lynched me. I guess I could've chanced it and not revealed, but I didn't want to risk it.

 

I get what you're saying about claiming finder being better than claiming vanilla townie, but why does it being convoluted have anything to do with it? Why wouldn't I just claim a regular finder role? A 'bad' finding or no finding could be explained away even if I was a regular finder, instead of a finder with this odd/even thing. Your point doesn't make sense.

 

Sorry, when I said 'complete' I meant that the games were finished (cuz I'm in other games right now). Although I did live to the end of most of those games. Anyhow, maybe I'm wrong, maybe that doesn make me experienced, but I didn't think so. I think people like Pete have played a lot more than I have.

In my opinion it is most likely that Alanna and Pete are both telling the truth and are both innocent.  I would say the next most likely scenario is that both are guilty LLLs.  The next most likely scenario is that Alanna is guilty and Pete is innocent.  This would require Alanna to guess that Pete would double her action, but Pete made it pretty clear that he was going to do that.  The least most likely scenario in my opinion is what Rose thinks is going on; a guilty Pete leading an innocent Alanna into a trap.  I don't see Jeran giving the mafia a power doubling role, so if Pete is lying then I think Alanna is also lying.

It does seem really wrong for pete to reveal after 3 votes, especially when he had advised me once to wait till i had 4 or 5 on me to reveal.. But maybe thats cause there were more players. But as i'm saying again, even though i have no votes on me. If i reveal my power is useless unless pete doubles my power. But i am innocent

I am not sure if they are or not, but that statement makes it look like (if they are mafia) that you are with them.

If she is mafia with Pete, then of course she would claim it.

For now, because I almost missed the deadline in two games, I am going to vote for [glow=red,2,300]Tynaal[/glow] as she was one of the three that Alanna 'viewed'. If Alanna is innocent, this is all we have to go off of right now.
