Shockwave Competition!

 

Find a shockwave or flash game on the internet. (There are loads of free sites around). Once you have found a small game which you think is fun then send me a PM with the following:

 

A Link to the game

The Name of the game

A brief description of the game

 

You will get 5pts for submitting a game

 

I will then update this thread with the games and then open it up for voting. If you vote you get 3 points (so already if you send in a game and then vote you have 8pts)

 

Then the votes are added up and the following points are given out:

 

1st place-20 points

2nd place-10 points

 

 

Games submissions will be accepted until 30th November 2009. Then it will be closed and the voting will begin.

 

Any questions then PM me. I'm locking this thread until the voting starts! :)

 

Remember that submiting and voting gets you 8 points. (Easy points)

But don't damage your hull. And don't forget to upgrade. Then upgrade. Then again.  ;D

 

2. Defend your Castle

In  this game your castle is attacked by barbarians. Your job is to defend your castle by throwing the invaders by clicking on them and make a throwing motion with your mouse. For every barbarian you kill, you will gain points. As you proceed through the different levels you will have the opportunity to spend your hard won points on upgrades. These upgrades will either strengthen your castle walls, build a facility that can convert the barbarians so that you can use them in the defence of the castle.

4. Learn to Fly

This delightful little number consists of a penguin, and a ramp. The goal is to get as far as you can upon liftoff (shooting down the ramp). Upgrades are available to make your penguin go faster, higher, further etc. Hours of fun!

 

5. Mushroom Revolution

Mushroom Revolution is a tower defense (where towers fire on attacking creeps) with mushrooms instead of towers.  You can upgrade the mushrooms and put up to three of five elements into them.  Different combinations of elements give the mushroom different special effects such as instant death or 3x damage.  That's basically the game in a nutshell.

I believe Defend Your Castle won one of the first Flash (not Shockwave, damnit) competitions at the BT, one or two iterations of DM ago.

Just finished about a half hour session of Motherload.  Got up to 4 million then hit a gas pocket or something.  Pretty fun game once u get the hang of it.  I'll play teh others later.

I beat motherload. Took about an hour and a half. Got 1 billion dollars, then hit the center of the planet and had to kill Satan...

 

I liked defend the castle best though.
