Well, I can't think of why else you would have such a strong objection to my being friendly with everyone. Nobody but you comes in all serious and "let's get voting" from their very first post. It's very unlike you to be this aggressive, though. What are you up to? Covering your tracks, perhaps? Did you already say something you're hoping we won't notice if you pick a fight with me?

 

Oh, yeah. My vote definitely stands. I don't usually feel this strong of a vibe on the first day. Something's definitely off with you, Pandy. If we lynch you, I bet we find out what that something is.

Well, if they're any good at all at playing this game, on Day One they usually are just playing normally. We don't usually get any clues until the lynch info and Day Two. This time looks like an exception to me, though. You are acting really strangely, attacking me for no game-related reason, just for being friendly. Seriously, Pandy? Do you expect anyone else to go along with that?

 

I haven't played nearly as many games as you have, but only once did I ever see anyone who was scum come in with guns blazing. Funny, it was you that time, too. lol

I don't know what meta means, but I'm just saying that most people hide their scumminess, not put it out there for everyone to see. I think you're twisting what I'm saying, and the more I say, the more confusing this is going to get. Especially when you use terms I don't know.

 

All I said was the only time I've ever seen anyone come in with guns blazing like you're doing, they were scum, and it was you. So, I conclude you're probably scum again. I could be wrong, of course. But I'm going with my gut. It says you're scum, too.

Meta is metagaming, which is exactly what you've done there in bold.  You take what he was in 1 game and carry it over to future games.  We all do it, but not usually as drastic as you are here.

Usually there are basic innocent and mafia roles, and some people may change their style of play when a different role without even realising!

A perpetual mist fills this maze, not cold to the touch but more chilling than any winter you can remember. Stone walls climb high above, far too high to consider climbing, though claw marks here and there are proof that it has been attemtped.

 

The twelve of you have watched one another in the torchlight, some sneaking a glance at another, some speaking in open hostility.

 

Pandy attracts unwanted attention, his comments seemingly more hostile than the others and as the day wanes, the group remembers the words of the king and the threat that walks among you. Kill the threat and you may live.

 

A majority of you name Pandy as that threat, and a hangman's noose is quickly fitted around his neck. The loose end is thrown over a protruding jag in the wall, and seven of you hoist Pandy up.

 

He grabs at the tighteninng rope, his legs thrashing, the heels of his boots beating against the stone like fists pounding against death's door just before it locks shut.

 

But the thrashing does not last long, and as a group, you watch as he gives one more feeble kick and then goes limp.

 

Torchlight flickers. After a moment, the body is lowered and you step forward and check his pockets. Nothing. You look in his pouch, in the scabbards of his weapons and find nothing. You roll him to his side to check the inside of his vest, but still you find nothing. It seems he was...

 

"Wait...look there."

 

Head lolling as you turned him, his hair fell away from the back of his neck. A small symbol has been tattoo'd there. The symbol of the Assassin.

A gambit is where one mafia leads a lynch on another and then the member leading the attack looks like an innocent.
