NIGHT TWO

Time: 9:13 PM (SFT) – 7:50 AM (SFT)

You struggle to stay awake, too afraid of what might happen should you sleep.  You think you hear movement in the night, but you can’t be sure that it’s not just the wind.  Hard as you try though, recent events have taken their toll on you, and you slip into a deep dreamless sleep.

You awake to the morning sun creeping up over the ruins of Lavender City.  You make your way to the meeting place.  Unlike last time, you had cut down Cerise and buried her and Captain Ultra in the rubble.  It was hardly a fitting grave, but there was little else that could be done.  Everyone is there, looking as ragged and stressed out as you feel.

Everyone survived the Night.

It is now Day Three.  With 11 alive, it takes 6 to lynch.

Deadline:  22nd Thursday, 2:00 PM (MST)

Frikkin-frakkin-freaking dang!

Dangit peace?!?!  How about dangit meesh and Lily?  Why the heck didn't you people state that he was a bomb?  Why even have the potential for a town power role getting killed?  :o

For Panda, I get the whole vetting him to ensure the others are good.  I voted for him, so I obviously thought it was the right play.

I can't believe the town was left in the dark on that....and you guys are town-aligned?  That play didn't look like it.  >:(

Yep

And would it be wrong for me to say that you may be a villain trying to stir up controversy Verb? Because in my mind, common sense would say that they didn't say anything because if the villains knew, then they would have avoided being the hammer vote.

They did tell us he was part of the Miller group and he was willing to die to clear his fellows, hence the two self votes.

I think we where either going to trust them right off or try and clear them completely.  I chose the second, but not feeling all that glossy at the moment.

Im ready to listen to the two of them considering thats what we promised the deceased we would do.  Not sure how much believe but plenty of listen.

Sorry about that:

MCS is right.  We already lynched one mafia, another was daykilled.  Why would we give the mafia a heads-up to avoid being the hammer vote, when we had the chance of taking another one down?  There was a risk of a town going down too, but it was one we were all willing to take.  You can't blame us for not foreseeing the Finder's death.

I for one would've preferred you guys to trust us from the start, but obviously that can't and shouldn't happen in mafia games.  I respect that, but if you're now going to deny a coroner report and everything, you're just being silly.

Also, I am suspicious of Verb now.  What possible good could telling everyone that Pandy was a bomb have done?  It would've prevented the outcome that none of us foresaw, true.  But then, if you guys believed us, would anyone have wanted to hammer Pandy?  Would he have been lynched?  I likely would've had to die for you guys to believe us, then.  That would've done two things BAD for the town:

1) We lose one of the Heroes, who can help more than Pandy can.

2) Pandy's benefit to the town is ruined.  No one will want to lynch him, and no mafia will target him for a kill.  What can he do?

Nae wasn't Mafia she was a solo winner. So there are at least two mafia aout there.

I don't think they could have played it any other way. If they had said he was a bomb there would still be suspicion on them and then they would be accused of using the bomb bit to prevent Pandy from getting lynched! It is a shame that Peace got the hammer vote. But it could have been a mafia instead. Then we wouldn't be complaining so!

As for who might be mafia, I have no idea right now, need to do a little rereading!

Okay the final votes on Pandy were

cosmicpanda (5): dragonsworn, cosmicpanda, Thorum, mnwhiterose, Verbal, Crusher, Peace and Talya (though it was over the number of votes by then.)

When I just read that bit I couldn't understand why I wasn't dead until I realised Peace was the last one on...that is a shame!

It is also shame that Meesh and Lily weren't on the Pandy lynch, because it would narrow down those on the lynch who could be mafia!

Ack, you're right.  I guess I keep thinking "Mafia" and "Villains" are synonymous...  She was a villain, but yes, a solo winner...  Blah, the fact that she was a villain messed me up.  >.<

The only good thing now is we got two confirmed innocents but it was a high price too pay. Looks like Pandy was playing russian roulette in the hope of getting a mafia, if it had worked noone would be complaining.

The odds are it does Not work this early in the game.

Well, personally, I didn't think lynching him was necessary to validate our claim. It made a lot of sense, and all the pieces fit. I wouldn't have voted for that, because I didn't approve. Plain and simple. As for revealing his ability, don't you think we revealed enough? At this point the only thing you don't know about the three of us is my ability. Should we tell you that, too? Geez! My style of playing these games is to only give info on a need-to-know basis. What I did reveal was uncomfortable enough for me.

It's just horrid luck that it was the finder, nothing more, and nobody's fault. Verb, you just jumped to the top of my suspect list.

That's my problem with the whole thing.  The odds were equal to getting a mafia or a town power role, and that's not good enough.

But whatever, what's done is done.  But I completely disagree with this statement:

1) We lose one of the Heroes, who can help more than Pandy can.

I just don't really like the whole "his power is worse than mine" thing.  If the mafia had tried to NK him, they would have lost a member - not too many powers more powerful than that.  And on top of that, Pandy is a helluva player, and he might have helped in more ways than just providing "powers".

I think this argument is done and dusted. There were people calling to vote for Pandy to prove who they all were, so what was he supposed to do? It looked like to me there were a few who wanted him lynched. So I don't think he would have made it to night anyway!

I agree with Talya.  It's done, so no sense in continuing to talk about it.

No one ever said that we have to be perfect.  And, for the record, Pandy offered himself up for the lynch.  Several factors, that had nothing to do with his ability or really even the game itself, went into this decision.  When he offered himself up, he said he was less valuable than I was.  His words, originally.

And I know I'm going back on saying what's done is done, but...

1) We lose one of the Heroes, who can help more than Pandy can.

It wasn't my idea, or Lily's, for Pandy to be lynched.  It was his.  Like I said, there was more to the decision than just, "Oh, Pandy has a crappy bomb ability, why doesn't he go get himself lynched?" I agree with your point, though, about him being a great player.  We didn't want to lose him, and true, his ability normally would be pretty useful in the event of a NK on him, but he was willing to offer himself up since one of us HAD to go.

And why would the mafia have tried to NK him when there was always that doubt in people's minds that he was who he said he was? I don't see why, myself.  As soon as he's dead, it proves he and his teammates are innocent, and that's less people to lynch in the place of mafioso, less people to be suspected of scum.  So why kill him?  Of course, this is assuming that all of us were still alive, and that none of us in the group had been lynched. Which brings us back to the fact that you guys wanted proof, and one of us had to die, and Pandy offered himself, and you guys chose to respect his wishes.

And that's all.  I myself am done with the "Pandy was a bomb" issue. I've explained more than enough and frankly I don't know why I'm letting myself be goaded into continuing.  It doesn't really help the game at all. >.<

Yes, things could've gone better.  We KNOW.  Can we just let it be a learning experience and move on?

[glow=red,2,300]Vote Thorum[/glow]

Im keeping my vote on Thorum. He has accused people with no real explanation and he jumped on the Pandy vote right after Pandy Voted himself which is the perfect place to jump on if you want to cover your tracks in my opinion.
