now if kivam is the CL as y'all like to call it, then he probably didnt get the neighbour role, now, if pale truly doent have a role then kivam must have the vig role. i recon the best way to check would be to zombie lynch CTM. if CTM isnt a zombie then kivam is telling the truth and we have to look at jvor and pale. and i dont see why the vig should be trying to hide.

Sorry, Loki - but I think this may be the silliest argument I've ever seen.  If I'm the Cult leader and Nae and CTM are my zombie minions, why in the world would I announce to anyone that I can talk to them off thread?

 

Not to mention the fact that I threw the people listed up for vote, and did that after the Cult Leader's first recruiting chance had finished.  (in other words, you all could have voted "Loki and Pac" and that's who I would have selected).  If the Neighbor role was a lie and I was just covering for Zombie talk (though, like I said above, that theory is crazy because there was no need to say anything at all if I were CL), then if you all had picked anyone different I'd have been dead.

my other theories dont really make sence, why would the vig not admit to being the vig, when we know its one of you three

Either you or him are lying.  If Kiv is confirmed neighbor and you don't have a kill role the only one who could have done anything on night 1 was JVOR (assuming all roles are only gained on missions).

 

I say we blue vote him off and if he's innocent lynch you.

Why are we assuming he's being honest about being the lie detector? Where did the NK come from, in your opinion?

And I'm saying that thus far that lie detector role is as good as useless when he can't be bothered to come on and play.  If this is a one shot chance and we use it on him and he STILL doesn't come on and play then it was wasted.... Yeah, if we don't use it and he turns out to be innocent with a lie detector role or cult and we coulda turned him back it's just as bad.. but WHY isn't he here?

I've brought this up on the other board, but what are the thoughts on revealing roles vs not revealing? I say we should reveal because the odds don't favor us.

 

Why is he suddenly suggesting mass role reveals?  This is right around the time of the end of the mission.  It's possible he was converted and trying to help his new team.

 

This is the way I see it. We are going to have to take risks one way or the other. 3 of us have volunteered, so as far as I know, only us 3 could potentially have one of the power roles mentioned in the opening post. In a normal game, Mafia has to guess which people have power roles so discretion is highly advised. But in this game, all of us, including mafia AND cult know who are the biggest roled threats to them. One of us 3.

 

Assuming all 3 who volunteered are town (which we can't really guarantee) we no reveal and try to keep mafia + cult guessing which person has a power role. If they hit correctly, we don't get info. Say one non power roledies. 2 people left alive (may be culted already at this point) that's 50-50 assuming all 3 of us who started were non-mafia. The odds are significantly worse if one of the 3 volunteers is mafia already...

 

On the other hand, what I think is currently the best option, is to reveal what you can to the town (assuming it's an investigative role of some sort) That's at the person's discretion, imo. Do NOT probe any of us after we get results, that's highly anti-town. Let the person who volunteered and gets a role decide whether to reveal or not. If you get a doctor or something, don't say it out loud. Discretion advised. If you get a cop role and can investigate right away, release a guilty. If inno, stay silent. That's the best way to proceed, I think.

 

 

Shortly after he backtracks a little on revealing but again ends it by saying a doc should reveal if he gets 1 guilty.  I'm not so sure how wise it is for the Doc to commit suicide by revealing after only 1 guilty.  Especially in a game filled with scum and cult.  He knows better than this.

 

Shortly after this post we get DPR's mission scene and then JVOR goes into hiding...  I've certainly been wrong before but it really looks to me like he was converted, tried to get a bunch of posts in before the scene, than disappeared -- perhaps under duress.
