Maybe if you do something interesting might happen.

A question: is volunteering always going to be at 2 am? I'm supposed to be awake while working *yawns*

Nope. The game clock will be reset when days and nights are done, so it will shift around.

[glow=blue,2,300]Vote Kivam[/glow]

Because if he hasn't been culted yet, he surely will be!

Also, I just want to test something out. Are we allowed to vote in red AND blue, or do we have to choose one?

Actually, I was just about to open up the blue voting.  But I'm not thinking Kivam...I'm thinking....

[glow=blue,2,300]Vote:  Talya[/glow]

.. i dont know who or what the jets (is that like the jetsons?) are so ..im tempted to vote the ::) hater   ..also kivam for zombiehood .. what the igor guy about him being recruited, and  .. this is a zombie hunting mission? kivam seemed awful keen to go on it (fine no less keen than others but :P ) but sending a zombie on a zombie hunting mission seems sensible if you want to do damage limitation.   though i cant remember if the zombie hunting bit came up before kivam wanted to volonteer :\  ... anywho i think im [glow=red,2,300]CTM Jets[/glow] because of the aformentioned reasons

but im gonna wait for a little more info before i start voting zombies, since its been a while since i last played mafia.. why do i get the feeling none of this makes sence

edit: yes i read tht somewhere that they cant vote if they're on a mish.

Gentlemen, blue voting at this point is akin to vig-killing.  Right now, there's only one zombie (the cult leader), and without a cop to investigate, we could blindly lynch our way through the entire town in a single day under these rules.  Not smart.  Save the blue votes for when the numbers are better and we start picking up the post restriction DPR said the zombies would be gimped by.  Unless you want to hand the game to the mafia, of course.  In which case, carry on  ::) (just for you, Chan  ;D)

8 pages and still so little votes?

[glow=red,2,300]Hybrid[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]Nae[/glow]

What's the difference between blue and red votes? Except that blue ones only work on zombies? When I read Kivams post, it seems like there is a restriction on them...

I agree with you kiv. Finding the zombie now would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

But with two votes, we stand a beter chance of getting the cult leader therefore stopping innocents from being turned into zombies.

But the blue votes only work on zombies.

*Thorum beat me to that point*

So [glow=blue,2,300]kivam[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]redffern[/glow]

ahh i forgot about the post restrictions, we should really watch the people who arnt saying much.. you best keep being verbose kivam :D

then why are you voting nae rhummy? and which bit looks like a restriction?

dragonsworn, run your logic for the  zombie voting by me again?

and yay my first vote in ages ^^

What I was meaning is, the cult leader. I am not for sure if he would be counted as zombie or human. If both than with the red and blue votes we stand a chance of getting them out quicker.

And I do believe I read it somewhere that the blue votes only works on zombies.

MOD QUESTION: Is the cult leader classified as human or zombie.

Just another thought. What if the restriction is, that the post has to be over so many lines. I have never played a dpr game, but from the sound of it anything is possible, and the unexpected is to be expected.

And I am happy I could vote be the first to vote for you.

???  ok, with you on the numbers, with you on the post restriction (although the cult leader is not gimped by one according to the rules) But can you explain the bolded above?, are you saying we can lynch multiple cult in a day? It says the vote count gets reset to 0 at every dawn? is that based on the game clock? Never played in a game with 2 trains or a game clock, so I'm a little unsure of that aspect..

You may vote to lynch any suspected zombie day or night by voting in blue. The vote count will be reset to -0- at every dawn.

Folks, I think you're operating with a misconception.  As I understand it, blue voting will lynch anyone, zombie or innocent; the only difference is we can blue vote day or night, and votes will count from dawn til dawn.

So, if it takes 10 to lynch, and, say, 6 people blue vote CTM during the day, and another four that night, he will die - whether he's a zombie or not.

DPR, can you confirm?

Because if this is just a test vote (i.e. zombies will die but nobody else will), we ought to quickly run through everyone.  But I really, really, don't think that's the way this is working, and we'll only be doing the mafia favors by using this now.

The rule appears to be that we can lynch as many suspected zombies as we want, whenever we want.  As long as they get a majority within the day-night cycle, the suspect will die.  If we kill one suspect (zombie or not), I believe we can immediately begin voting for the next, and if we get a majority on them, they will die too (as long as the votes are in before the deadline).

Essentially, the blue vote is like an unlimited, majority directed vig-kill.  We can use it as often as we want, but it will kill people whether they are guilty or not.

And like any vig kill, a smart townie will keep his gun in his damn holster until later in the game.  In fact, I'll go ahead and FOS (since I can't vote) Verbal, JVoR, Dragonsworn and Thorum for blue voting this early.

That was my interpretation as well, Kivam.

Something else to be careful of (that I posted on MJ already) is that if missions are the only way to gain roles, we should make sure the roles are spread out (i.e. have different people volunteer each time).  Yes, it means the mafia or cult are more likely to gain roles, but it also means it's more likely that the innocents will control the majority of the rolls.  In other words, let's not put all our eggs in one basket.
