This game is going take a while before it sinks in. I like the idea of the post restriction thingy! Though with a lot of players it will take a lot to keep on track of it and i'm not volunteering, lol.

 

We haven't got much time left and I haven't a clue who could be what. I haven't played with a lot of these players before so it makes it harder to get a feel of it all.

 

Shame we can't vote DPR for putting up that banner, I watched it until the end :(

To be fair, did you even read his last post? Just because they voted you, you aren't allowed to vote them back? Why is that autoscummy?

 

All Panda said was "why not?" answering Dsage and voted CTM with absolutely no reason involved (which is a big pet peeve of mine in mafia)

 

CTM is a devious bastard, but I find the votes on him at the moment to be of interest, especially the later ones, to be of bigger interest.

CTM normally repulses me but in this game I'm getting an innocent vibe.  I think the votes on him are there because he's a "Jet Boy" or whatever nonsense we've been dubbed.

I too would like nothing more than to kill CTM.  Its a big part of why I play teh Mafia.  

 

Yet I really don't see why his case is picking up speed and it does have the feel of nudging someone close enough to be the so called obvious choice at deadline. Unlike gravy and biscuits Im not loving this.

I don't think Pandy is skum... I'm getting nothing on him thus far.  He always just pops in and votes without giving his reasons.  He has an interesting playstyle.  I don't know CTM's playstyle so I'm not sure on him.

Panda is such a polarizing figure on day one. I have not witnessed a game he has made it to day two I think. But neither one is screaming scum, I just think CTM has a better chance from the posts that I have read. And he had the most votes when I voted, I want a lynch before deadline, if not we start day two exactly where we are now, with nothing, no information, no voting patterns to look at, nothing.

Pandy was the 4th vote on me and I explicitly said my return vote wasn't "OMGUS". I went back and looked, the first two votes were seemingly not serious day 1 votes because I said I didn't like the eye roll smiley. Vote #3 was blatant bandwagonning that the bandwagonner at least had the courtesy to throw a winky smilie in there..

 

Pandy's vote was different.. It was in the midst of him badgering another poster, came with no explanation, and was much later in the day then the other 3 votes. Late enough in fact, that now we are being rushed into vote CTM or deal with a no lynch as I suspected it would, although, it's nice to see I have competition other then no lynch..

What about posting something exceedingly long with lots of words in it that might be restricted? Maybe a passage from one of these books the site is dedicated too?

I think we need a lynch day one, just to get a base for voting patterns to pick out the baddies. I don't like bandwagons, but at this point, I have no clue who to vote for since I don't know a lot of your playing styles.

Have to agree with this logic, sorry, [glow=red,2,300]Pandy.[/glow] CTM's got it right - that random, unexplained vote for a vote leader is very scummy looking.

I'm going to announce the role I received, since it isn't tremendously useful, and I figure input is warranted.  I'm the Neighbor - I can talk to two other players off thread, but won't be told their alignment and they won't get confirmation of mine.  Who should I select?  Once I choose them, they're unchangeable (at least, that's how I understood my PM), so I figured I'd seek town input on who to talk to.  It could be helpful or harmful, depending on who I pick.  Thoughts?  Or should I save the selection until we have a cop confirmed innocent or two, essentially creating a mason group?

I don't like anagrams in these games, and ignore what they mean most of the time, they kinda get on my nerves...so your "OMGUS" means nothing to me...even saying it wasn't one of those votes, you say. You seemed to jump on him pretty quick after he did it, 'tis all.

 

Plus I have nothing much to go on, Pandy is being Pandy. I would prefer a vote and lynch day one, I think we get info on it and you had the most at the time.

 

I now see that others followed suit pretty damn quick after you did, which also seems a little bit scummy as we knew that we didn't have long left for the dy.

 

I won't be around at the time of lynch because of time zones, so I had to get something in now, incase I can't get around to it later.
