*dances* I'm so very excited! This is one of the only, if not the first time, I have caught a Mafia in a cop role.

 

Yesterday/last night I was Rose's cop submission. I investigated Mynd because as I said, I found him suspicious. My suspicions were RIGHT! The mod confirmed Mynd is MAFIA!

btw, don't start on me because I "want to start a bandwagon". I just want to give Liath an ironic reminder she forgot voting. If no one counterclaims, I'll change my vote as soon as Lia does.

Normally I'd be all over this like white on white rice but I'm a bit nervous about jumping in to vote right away for two reasons.

 

(1) At least 3 of the people left are mafia so there is a 33% chance of this being a mafia gambit.  (I've not played in any games of this size with less than 3 mafia so it is an educated guess.)

 

(2) As Thorum said, she forgot to vote for Mynd.  It could be a mistake due to excitement (I was excited the one and only time I found a mafia while a cop BUT I did vote for the mafia person in my reveal post.) 

 

Although (2) is not really a glaring mafia tell it's actually what made me think of (1).  There is still possibly the Jack Bauer II and autopsy people to hear from who might have finding results.  There is no deadline as long as we are keeping the discussion going.

 

P.S. Before I logged on this morning I had been thinking of voting for FDM in the hopes that Cat was hinting at a finding result the other day.  Hopefully if there are any past finding results out there that will resolve the situation people won't be shy.

I want to know why in the heck you would reveal right off the bat like that, unless you have a death wish. Why wouldn't you at least try to discredit him, or make a case, or something?

Here is the problem with the Mafia bluff here.  BECAUSE the numbers are so low for townies, we are not going to risk lynching me in order to prove/disprove Lia's innocence.  While its a bold move here to try and "win spectacularly or die trying" it actually was a bad move.  Partly because of how the roles have aligned today. 

 

I would like to hear from Verbal on his thoughts here.  Remember the last time Verbal was this quiet?  What do you think about Lia's claim, Verbal?  ;D

Heh.  Trust me, I wasn't quiet due to intent.

 

The problem with just jumping in and lynching Mynd is that due to the role switching, we can't lynch Mynd on the grounds that we are trying to confirm a Finder.

 

HOWEVER......Mynd, you would have been WAAAAAYYYYYYYYY more crazy with your post voting Liath had you actually been innocent.  You almost shrugged it off and voted Liath after Thorum.  That wasn't the normal reply of a falsely accused innocent.

Why the hell WOULDN'T I post as soon as I found out? I'm not the Cop anymore, roles changed as of this "morning". I found a Mafia, I should tell as soon as possible!

 

Yep a mistake not voting but you can ask Barm how frakkin' excited I was to catch a Mafia as I screamed and jumped about in chat about it.

 

As far as I know, Rose's cop role is 100% accurate in finding alignment. I'm not the mod though, so maybe it is something less. HOWEVER to my knowledge and according to the pm I got from the Mod, it stated in no uncertain terms that Mynd was MAFIA.

 

I'm not going to sit on that. That's crazy! Even if I had no suspicions or case for Mynd before, it would be CRAZY not to reveal what I found out! If I die we aren't losing the cop role, I have a new one now so I really don't see why it is so weird to post as soon as I found out, it really boggles my mind to be honest.

 

Anyways, I'm definitely voting [glow=red,2,300]Mynd[/glow] as he is MAFIA and a LYING LIAR WHO LIES.
