Hello! I'm your friendly commentator mod. I'll provide a general summary of the game and also count votes and FOSes.

 

At this stage, you are faced with several very important questions. Who's scum? Who's town? Who's SK? What other roles are there? Why does it matter what time it is in Kuala Lumpur? Why Kuala Lumpur, and not some other city in Asia?

*arches eyebrow* Well, interesting because I have it on good authority, according to a little sneezing panda, that Barmy is scum.  I don't know if it is true, but that's what I have been told and there is one way to find out if it s true.  But before we go lynching the Bosom, I think we should discuss some things.  I suspect that we each have been told that another player is scum.  I suspect that Moggy has gotten this message about me, which is incorrect.  I win with the town but I am far from being considered a vanilla townie.  More like Rocky Road or Pistachio. 

 

Anyways, if I am the only one who received such a message, then yes, let's perform the mascemdectomy. Otherwise, there is a lot we need to discuss before this marathon day comes to a conclusion. I am not saying that we reveal roles, but perhaps we should discuss the roles that we submitted for approval?

Well, perhaps we should test this out.  If we vote just enough votes where it would lynch a normal person, and you are still alive, then that would confirm your identity.  Also, did anyone submit such a role to CP?

The danger, of course, is that in that case the mafia can simply hammer him.  And yes, I got the same message about Barm being scum.

It's got to be more difficult than announcing  a Super Miller role and then setting Barm up to have to claim it.  :P

Interesting. Part of me is going with the idea that the Super part of the role just means that all player broadcast at the begining. But, it could also mean deathmiller.

 

I'd also like to know if anyone would come forward and claim responsibility for that role and its limitations. Knowing my luck they could be mafia though...

Your friendly neighbourhood mod is back! Some interesting developments have sprung up since the last vote count - not surprising, really. Thorum has cast the first vote, for Verbal. Never let it be said that I am not democratic.

 

Much speculation has gone into the setup, and I have a feeling that there will be more. What roles did everyone submit, and what roles have I modified?

I've never understood why people have to officially declare a FoS on someone.  People are saying that I am FOS all the time, but I don't think it means the same thing.  I find it odd that Cosmic Panda would go out of his way to say that Barmy is Scum, usually Miller characters only look scum in a FINDER viewing. 

 

I still think that there is a way we can prove or disprove Barmy's theory without a sneaky mafia dropping the hammer here.  Barmy claims that it takes one extra vote to lynch him, which can be proven in this way:  we declare EXACTLY 7 players to vote Barmy and EXACTLY 5 players to NOT vote Barmy.  Anyone who drops the hammer on Barmy is obviously scum!  Make sense?

 

So either 7 votes lynch Barmy, and proves that he is a lying liar who lies OR that he is telling the truth, which then will prove him as an innocent AND keep him alive.

I will only agree if we all agree to lynch anyone who hammer(+1)s Barm.  No exceptions.  If he is a death miller, the mafia could clinch it and then argue that he seemed more scum than town.

Finger of Suspicion. All it does is indicate that said person is high on your radar. Its something that they use regularly at mafiascum.net, but has never been adopted here at DM.

8th Vote, Lia.  If anyone tries to hammer Barmy with an 8th vote, then we lynch that person.  Once we have 7 votes on Barmy and CP has had ample time to review the vote count, if nothing happens than we all can be sure that Barmy is what he claims. 

 

Also, I think it might be a good idea if we all post what roles we submitted to CP.  I am sure a lot of them were tweaked before the game, but it might give us all a better idea of what we are going up against.  First off, who submitted the "Super Miller" idea?
