like Rand having the OP was constant in ever one, then it's likely that the Wolfbrother-thing is in most if not all as well.

Not necessarily. Rand is a sparker, no matter what happens, he will at one point in his life start to channel.

Perrins case might be different. etc

you make a good point, but i think it would just be a matter of time before he would get in contact with wolfes, and/or the wolfes would make contact with him.

i remember in TEoTW, it is mentioned that the wolfes are coming in closer and closer to the village, it's mentioned that they take the sheep.

thw wolfes are so present that Rand has to keep his bow ready in case a wolfe would come to close, when they are walking to Emond's Field.

i believe that the wolfes are coming so close to the humans because they can feel Perrins gifts. although he's not yet ready, they know what he is long before Winternight

Perhaps. But coming closer to the village is not the same as entering the village, and with Perrins increasing responsibilities, his opportunities to stroll around would be more and more limited. And while wolves might get curious if they managed to sense the ability with Perrin, I strongly doubt that would trump their natural shyness when it comes to humans. Snatching a sheep from an isolated farm, sure. Entering a village with hundreds of men, that is a different story.

His family lived on a farm.  I always thought he ended up living w/ the Luhhans.  Apprentice blacksmith.  Gotta be annoying having to come into the town everyday for work.  Well, some people do commute

Actually in EotW Perrin thinks about his family and it says they live to far away for him to see except on feast days

Some talk about where the 3 would live after Tarmon Gai'don:

I imagine Mat would live in Seanchan with Tuon and perhaps gain its throne.

I imagine Perrin would live in Saldaea with Faile.  Min had a viewing of him gaining that throne.

Rand, if he becomes resurrected, I imagine would live in Illian (since that is the only crown he has) with Min & Aviendha and would occasionally visit Elayne in Caemlyn & Cairhien; perhaps also visit the remaining countries.

Why not live in Caemlyn with all 3 and visit Illian as need arises? a good steward could deal with the day to day.

Considering 3 of teh 4 can travel, I don't see it as a big issue. They can just warp around

At least Elayne & Aviendha would still be able, yet will Rand still be able after being resurrected?

now just what his dying and living entails remains to be seen doesnt it? :P

Rand and LTT will be reborn as Avi's babies !! But you are correct, 2 of the 4 will be able to, and Rand might also still be able to channel after TG.

  • 4 weeks later...

From one of Egwene's dreams, Perrin would fight a man whose face changes. (A wolf - she was sure it was Perrin, though - fighting a man whose face kept changing.)

Slayer or Moridin would be the man.  Wolf part, that would mean either in the wolf dream or with help of wolves.

If Slayer, that kind of is fulfilled.  If Moridin, yet to happen.

Events in Memory of Light::

For Mat:

-Go to Tower of Ghenjei to rescue Moiraine; maybe witness her and Thom's wedding.

-Lead Seanchan to White Tower to rescue Egwene, maybe afterward get the Horn.

-Maybe meet Rand & Perrin at Tarmon Gai'don; certainly blow the Horn.

For Perrin:

-Return to Rand for these reasons:

--Masema's meeting with Rand

--Second time to rescue

--Still has two Ashaman, Cadsuane to teach all of them

-Maybe organize wolves for Tarmon Gai'don

For Rand:

-Discuss Dragonsworn with Masema.

-Fulfill the rest of the Karaethon Cycle and the prophecies connected to his other titles.

To TOG, that is a given. The wedding, we do not know for sure it will ever happen, certainly not when, and even more certainly who would attend.

Say what now? The Seanchan will attack the White Tower, it is not an operation to save someone the Seanchan sees as as a runaway slave.

If Mat ends up going there, it will be because of something Moiraine says.

Some meeting should occur, yes.

For Perrin:

-Return to Rand for these reasons:

--Masema's meeting with Rand

Right, because after Masemas actions in KOD, Perrin is set on allowing the man to live long enough to see Rand...

--Second time to rescue

IMO, most likely to be mixed with Rands visit to the Borderlanders army, which just happens to have 13 quite shady Aes Sedai hidden.

--Still has two Ashaman, Cadsuane to teach all of them

The teaching will hardly be something done to each and everyone of the asha'man individually.

-Maybe organize wolves for Tarmon Gai'don

Rather asking them to come and join the fight. Prophecy may call him the Wolf King, but he is far from that. The wolves join the fight because they wish to do so, not because some human tries to order them around.

For Rand:

-Discuss Dragonsworn with Masema.

Not. Going. To. Happen.

-Fulfill the rest of the Karaethon Cycle and the prophecies connected to his other titles.

And a few other things...

Any Actual Law Degrees holders out there please fact check this.

I quite doubt that there are many people holding a lwa degree from pre-industrial England, which seems like the closest thing from our world you would get here.

And here I was certain that Mr Ares fit the bill.

I'm not quite that old. Nor do I have a Law Degree.

A mere oversight by the education system, I'm sure.

If Rand's situation with Elayne/Aviendha/Min was a marriage, Rand would be the second.

I don't think Rand is married yet since bonding someone is not the same as marring them, even with the fancy technique Elayne used.

Also any legal marriage needs witnesses, since there were no witnesses present at the time, I don't consider the triple bonding to be a marriage. ;)

Maybe Oxford or Cambridge, or similar, will soon see fit to rectify that oversight.

Moiraine has promised to tell (help? can't remember) Thom who gentled his nephew and left him to die, when she sees him next. Thom's been looking for the Aes Sedai who gentled his nephew for a long time and I don't see him giving up his quest when he finds out who's done it.

I do see Thom giving up this quest, and I see Moiraine playing a big part in helping him do so.  It's also quite possible that, after TG, those responsible won't be around to "go after".  While the gentling of Owyn was horribly handled (cruel, unusual punishment), Owyn was becoming more of a danger to those around him daily.  He was not able to control his channeling, and would have been totally insane soon.  This was one of those situations that couldn't have ended well.  This was lose-lose all the way around.  Maybe Moiraine can help Thom understand that, and make peace with himself, if not with those responsible.
