Loki looks at Dsage while he says it. Sven is nodding. Loki spins, stepping a leg behind bot of Sven's and pushing back on Sven's shoulder.

"Take him down!"

Sven crashes backwards onto the floor and hands shoot from every direction to hold him down. A noose is placed over his neck.

"Hey! Hold on a minute! I'm not a vampire!"

"You'll pardon us if we don't take your word for it."

The cross is brought forth, an ancient thing, gleaming dull silver in the light.

"Hold him down! Get ready!"

The cross is glowing a faint blue as it inches closer to Sven's chest...

And out of nowhere, he screams. He howls, and thrashes.

The cross is pushed against him, and the second it touches his skin, there is nothing.

Sven laughs. "Well, that's what you get for being so dramatic. I would have put the noose over my head by myself you know."

He is met by blank stares. Loki is the first to respond.

"We've all killed vamps before, and there is no room for mistakes. And this time, its bad. We take no chances. Who's next?

 

*NEW RULE* and I'm sorry I forgot to postthis on the rules page - I'll allow Thor's early vote fo DJ on this round, but in the future, only the hammer vote can start a new lynch. That ought to make things nice and interesting...

The hammer vote is the last vote on a lynch - so in our case, it takes 7 votes to reach a majority. If there are already 6 votes, and you are going to place the 7th, that's the hammer vote.

REVENGE!  can wait.  A little while at least.  Also, the name couldn't be more thematically appropriate, and this line of reasoning served me so well in lynching innocents so far.

No. You can give the sixth vote on dj. There's only one vampire today, so it's the best chance we'll ever get to kill him.

Everyone is talking, debating who should go next, and Dark Justice seems to be the popular choice.

You sit the dead vamp up, tilt it's head back and push a tube down it's throat. Then you fill the tube up with a highly combustible powder designed just for this purpose. You lpull the tube and leave a tiny spark plug timer stuck in the powder. Then you step away.Modern techniques for disposig of the dead are so much cleaner than the old ways.

"Eye shields". Everybody lowers their goggles.

There is a flash and a "WHOOOOMP" and then nothing but a pile of ashes.

"She won't be attacking anyone else." 

"She was nothing to us."

The group spins as one, weapons leveled at the speaker. An elegant woman steps into the room, clearly a vampire, and clearly powerful. Your head is filled with a vibration, like ahigh pitched noise and it keeps getting worse with every step she takes towards you.

"I just wanted you to know how much I look forward to...meeting...all of you. We are all very impressed so far. My master sends his regards"

A steel crossbow bolt hisses through her chest, planting itself into the stone wall behind her.

"We will meet soon," She laughs, "But not quite yet".  Her image wavers like a heat mirage and disappears.
