So the people who think i am mafia can finaly figure out what big dumnasses they are.

And guess what insulting people makes you?

I'm all for taking the games seriously and all but you crossed a line here, and that's inexcusable.

Slightly confused here. I'm doing an analysis of Kivam and the final vote count seems to be off. The first vote for Kivam listed on the thread is actually by loki redfern. I don't see Mayleigh's vote anywhere (not her anonymous stolen vote but her real one) and I don't see BligBlog's vote. Are these votes out of order in the vote count or am I missing some posts?

BligBlog - just wanted to say I feel your pain. Mafia games move fast and if you miss some time the amount of unread material can be daunting. (You should have seen my face when I realised this thread had piled on 30 pages in my absence.) The fact is that you can give up, which would be sad, or you can say to yourself: "These posts are full of clues I can use to help win the game. And if I do really well, everyone will be really impressed." That's my motivation, anyway. ;)

Wes, we have confirmed that there was a moderator error with the vote count, it was fixed, and ultimately, fixing it did not change the outcome of the game. Stating anything else on the matter could be construed as moderator intervention, and as thus, skewing the game for one side or the other. In order to ensure that this game remains fair for all parties, further information will not be disclosed by Alys or myself on the matter.

 

*backs up barms* you guys know this, and you should know better than to hound the mods on a potentially game altering point. please give it a rest! i screwed up and left someone in that shouldn't have been, but that didn't change the fact that there were enough votes without that person.

 

also, reveals will be role and alignment. Innocents are with the Committee of Vigilance and Mafia are with the Abolitionists. yes, it's been a long day, and i am sick of the b*tching. read the rules instead of harassing the other players.

wes, i said it was a long day because i wanted there to be an understanding why i said it the way i did rather than in a more politic fashion. (day at skating rink with lots o' childrens, no a/c, screwed up food orders and a single lost shoe- explain why they put one shoe in a different cubby from the other, please!! then a shoe that broke... )

you guys give me way more credit than i deserve.  :P  the plots you guys have been constructing are diabolically beautiful, i give you that, but i don't think i'd actually be able to pull any of them off as well as some of you think i've been doing.  :D

things are complicated in this game, i'll give you that, but not quite as complicated as some think, i reckon.  :)

Whew!  I'm back after my Friday LOA and weekend.  And I've read the whole freakin' thing, lol.  Wow.

 

Ok, I've been trying to discern as much as I can from the whole finder situation, and this post by Luthine is raising the biggest issue for me right now (I bolded for emphasis):

Remember on Night 2, dude said he wasn't able to view Jelly and Kivam chimed in, explaining how he was the one responsible for that?

Thing is, the coroner report showed us that Kiv didn't have a role-blocking ability (and I asked the mods, it would have appeared in the report)

So let's slow things down a bit, I'm beginning to suspect the dude more and more and I'd love to have everyone's input.

 

 

Let's recap:

 

-On Day 1 he lets Vemy die before revealing

-He reveals during night, instead of waiting for the day to avoid a possible nightkill.

-On Day 2, this allows him and Kiv to spin their lovely little tale

-On Day 3 he makes vague and allusive posts regarding jelly's alignment and doesn't confirm that he viewed jelly and got a "mafia" result before I ask him, twice. I think this could have been done on purpose, that way when jelly turns out innocent he can say: oh but never said I'd viewed her, just that she looked suspicious, I actually viewed an innocent. 

 

Also, if I were Mafia and knew the dude to be the real finder, I'd have had a field day with all those inconsistencies and would have pushed for the lynch long ago. Then again, they could just be happy laying low...

 

And DPR ( hehe, finally got where your name was coming from "As you wish!") what do you mean by the mafia is keeping an eye on you?

 

Thank you Luthine for giving voice to something that was bothering me, but I couldn't put my finger on it!!  I was starting to get more and more suspicious of Jelly after the dude's post on his "viewing" of her.  But now, I'm still just as suspicious of the dude as I was at first.

 

I agree with DPR that we need to step back and analyze more.  I'm not totally ready to throw a vote on either of them yet.

1. Vemynal = guilty. (Inaccurate.)

2. DPR = guilty. (DPR says this was an accurate result even though he's innocent.)

3. Jelly = innocent. (No idea.)

CANNOT BE an accurate finder since first result was inaccurate.

CANNOT BE a naive finder since two results were guilty.

CANNOT BE a paranoid finder as third result was innocent.

CANNOT BE an insane finder because she found herself innocent.

CAN BE a random finder.

CAN BE mafia.

 

THE DUDE'S INVESTIGATIONS

1. Kivam = turncoat. (Accurate.)

BONUS: ? = innocent. (No idea.)

2. Roleblocked. (Kivam says he roleblocked the dude that night.)

3. Jelly = guilty. (No idea.)

CAN BE an accurate finder.

CANNOT BE a naive finder since he has had guilty results.

CANNOT BE a paranoid finder since he has had innocent results.

CANNOT BE an insane finder because one result was accurate.

CAN BE a random finder ... I think? Maybe? Not too sure.

CAN ONLY BE mafia if in league with Kivam. This would explain his confirmed accurate viewing and the roleblock.

 

taking sirayn's distilled results here (thanks, sirayn :)), we've got the following possibilities:

 

Jelly:

Mafia

Random Finder

 

Me:

Finder

Really really tricky mafia.

Maybe random finder...

 

For a second, I'll leave alone the fact that I know that Jelly's evil.

 

She's either the enemy, or effectively useless as far as roles go.  A random finder gives us no helpful information anywhere.

 

Except if we lynch her. 

 

Think about it.  We lynch her, she either turns out mafia, or you've got your confirmation of my guilt if she turns out to actually be a random finder.

 

As for myself, if you belive I was in league with Kivam, well, I don't think I'm gonna convince you differently without new information.  The fact that Kivam claimed some roleblocking function that he didn't turn out to have is something I can't explain.  My viewing showed no such thing.  I think I've alluded to that way back when, but I'll have to check that out to confirm.  I'll do that next.  My guess is that Kivam was being his wily self and claimed the action on behalf of someone else on the mafia team.

 

Anyway, I hope that sounds logical.  At this point, Jelly is a good candidate even if you don't think she's mafia.  Her role is worthelss if you think she's a random finder, whereas I actually have a chance of being the real finder.

 

Does that make sense?
