Oh and i agree with the comments from DPR - Loki seems genuine enough, FDM has her connection problems which are definately true (although wondering if this actually rules her out), and Luthine would fit the playstyle of the Mafia quite well.

It doesn't take long. Within minutes of the duo-death of Winter Mist and The Dude, Jelly stands up, bible and revolver still in hand. Dropping them on the table she turns to the bartender, nods at him, and points at Naeann.

 

He doesn't hesitate. He's already got his 12 gauge in hand, cocked and ready to fire.

 

She goes down fast, but defiant to the end, she had her gun out and aimed directly at Wes when the shell took her in the chest. Stumbling backwards, she falls back against the wall, and slides down, a small smile on her face as here eyes glaze over.

 

Naeann, Mafia, is dead. It is now night. Night ends Tuesday evening/night whenever I get around to it. Not before 8pm though.

You stand staring at Naeann, as is everyone else. Suddenly somebody staggers into you and knocks you into the table in front of you. Turning around swiftly you catch the person who is falling onto you in your arms. Looking down you see Jelly and you feel the hilt of a dagger poking into your side. Watching Jelly as the life slowly fades out of her, you quickly determine that the sharp end of that dagger is lodged in Jelly's spine. With one last gasping breath she wisper's something to you, but it is too quiet for you to hear at first, and you only catch "...killed me."

 

Jelly, the Finder, is dead.

 

It is now Day. With 5 left alive, it takes 3 to lynch. Day ends Thursday night around midnightish, as per usual.

Well, that went fast...

 

Anyhoo, here are my thoughts, even if I've been pretty clueless during the whole game, ahem

 

FDM: She has her connections problems so that should rule her out but still, if she were a roleless innocent, why hasn't she been modkilled? I guess we're banking on Barm not being that mean but eh, don't know him that well ^^

 

Loki: A clean voter but his Day 1 vote on Nae could be a clever bluff. That's pretty much it I guess... I'll re-read.

 

Dae: He has been quite agreeable, 1st with Vemy, now with DPR, a pretty risk-free plan. And, yeah I know I tend to be obsessive with my "gut-feelings" but he's the one I'm more suspicious of and if he turns out to be innocent well, I'd have deserved my lynching ;)

Odds are, we're dealing with 1 more mafia. I like Luthine for it, but would love to hear from everybody else as well.

Most suspicious people are me and Luthine.

 

As a lot of the reason im suspicious is the whole "Reveal DPR as Innocent" scandal, you have to either take my word on it as an honest mistake, or go back and notice just how scatty/illogical my posts were. Hell i would be voting for someone who did that straight off, if i was in the right frame of mind.

 

As mentioned previously, don't rule out FDM or Loki - however i still think they've played a blameless game. With any luck this is because they actually are blameless, but otherwise it could be amazing mafia play...

 

Which naturally leaves [glow=red,2,300]Luthine[/glow]. A playstyle to suit the mafia atm, and well i know im innocent so i might as well aim for the next most suspicious  ;)

 

Also if there is only one mafia left, the odds of them winning this now are miniscule. So lets just hope there aren't two lurking around...

Let's not fool ourselves into thinking that we have this locked up - if we vote an innocent to lynch, and the mafia kill an innocent tonight, we're left with 3 players. And I don't feel like I'm giving anything away here by stating that the mafia ain't gonna kill FDM tonight. Because it will be to easy to deadlock a final vote with her away.

 

Also, if by chance there are 2 mafia left, we have to hit one, or we lose. So I want to be as close to sure as we can.

 

Luthine is still playing it cool. But then, so is Dae. Loki raises the least concern for me - but that's when he is the most dangerous. I'm counting FDM out totally, because I don't believe that any Mod would set a game up and let it run under these conditions (it would have been easier to mod-kill her and reassign the mafia role.)

Luthine is still playing it cool. But then, so is Dae. Loki raises the least concern for me - but that's when he is the most dangerous.

 

I'd love to give you those but 1st I'd have know what are the arguments against me other than my "play-style". ^^

As for the being cool, my (short) experience taught me that the more vehemently you defend yourself, the more likely you'll get lynched, probably just to make you shut up :P

 

Also, what makes you think Loki is innocent? Other than the fact that his brain seems too tired to form proper sentences, let alone plot evil schemes :P

Okay, my thoughts:

 

My suspects prior to my LOA: WinterMist, Luthine, and Dude.

 

Wintermist I was suspect of simply because I've played with her elsewhere and I got the tingle, so to speak. She is the flexible friendly player, who encourages, and sees where people follow.

 

The dude I'm nearly always suspicious of because of how much people trust him from the get go. Incredibly wonderful if he were mafia, but since he obviously wasn't...

 

And as for Luthine--is from a purely metagaming standpoint, so in keeping with not being a huge hypocrite, I don't really want to mention it. :(

 

I'm actually not getting an evil vibe from Loki, he's been fairly consistent in his actions (not to mention the fantastic aura around Nae's name on the list--what are the odds of THAT turning out accurate!!?? :D), and I have no read on Dae whatsoever. Let me go through his posts and see what I think, as I got through the pages, I started reading faster and faster lol, so I may have missed some stuff!

 

And to think I wasn't here to bask in Vemy's NOT suspecting me??!?! To tell you the truth, when I saw him not all up on my back right away, I was like "What the....he must be evil!" Hahaha. And my explanation for not being killed night one: I'm fairly easy lynch fodder anymore. ;)

 

Until then...I'm going to withhold my vote for about 20 minutes, so I can read through these posts again. I missed a lot guys, and I'm really sorry about that. :(

This is what really strikes me. This is the Day 2 voting sequence.

 

This is why I don't think Dae is evil. In a game like this, with not too many people left, mafia are not going to gang up on their other member. It would be too easy for someone to change their vote at the last minute (unless they did it that way on purpose, hoping that Dae would die and secure Winter's and Luthine's innocence...but I don't think that likely). Besides, Vemy was certainly the easier kill...and mafia typically avoid the vengeance voting against other mafia, since bandwagoners love to take advantage of piling on a member; and it just makes things much more complicated than they really need to be.

 

As for Loki, he did start the vote on Vemy--but since I also thought that Vemy was acting weird (in not pushing for my own lynch, miracle of miracles), but he wasn't the only one who found Vemy oddly suspect, and two of them are confirmed innocents.

 

It is of course all supposition...but after thinking about it more, I'd believe Loki evil before Daet in this scenario. Please feel free to point out any errors in my logic here. I'm trying to think about it from both an innocent and an evil perspective, and I think Luthine makes the most sense in this situation.

 

Which brings me to thinking that [glow=red,2,300]Luthine[/glow] is our mafia.

Hmmm, I'm not sure I understood you right but if you assume from the start that I am mafia, yeah, you'll probably come to the conclusion that I am...

 

As it is, I could give the opposite reasoning:

When a Mafia votes for another player, it has to be for petty or personal reasons that ensure that none will bandwagon them, such as: "he hasn't been much around"(Winter) and "I want revenge coz she voted for me" (Dae) (Am too lazy to look back for them, but these were approximatively the reasons they gave).

Unexpectedly, the Dae vote became popular, due to his slip, and that is when Naeann and/or Loki (depends how many Mafia we got left) hurriedly intervened and came up with the Vemy vote.

 

Which makes me think that Luthine is innocent, because she was close from being the lynching voter on Dae. :P

 

And as for Luthine--is from a purely metagaming standpoint, so in keeping with not being a huge hypocrite, I don't really want to mention it.

Ok, so I probably reached the post-quota length, which means I'll die soon (it has been scientifically proved) so I'll just add my conclusions ^^

 

I'd like not to definitively consider FDM innocent because her LOA made her so efficiently drop out of everyone's radar. Besides, her sudden reappearance just in time to make sure I got the lynch and not Dae could be more than coincidence. But that's far-stretched so I'll rule her out.

 

I don't even want to think about the possibility of a god-father, coz it might fry my brain.

 

That leaves Dae and Loki and I'm kinda confused as to who to go for right now... so I'll vote [glow=red,2,300]Loki[/glow] hoping to get him to chat a bit more.

Strike that, the god father thing doesn't make any sense coz why would he have assassinated Winter then?

Taking a swig of your drink, you eye the fat sleeping woman in the corner, and realize that you've barely noticed her all night. No, not fat. Pregnant. But why was she in a bar if she was pregnant? You take another drink, and turn to check out the other patrons.

 

You notice that one drunk guy, who's name you can't recall, but he always seemed to speak out of turn, and was generally ignored. But he's pointing at somebody now. You look to see where he's pointing, and discover Luthine, who appears to be rather sober. Not a surprise really, after what transpired at the beginning of the night with the wannabe.

 

The outspoken one, Wes, you think his name is, but your so drunk you don't quite remember. You see him step in between Luthine and the drunk guy, making some calming gestures while speaking rapidly to both of them, apparently trying to settle an argument before it truly began. You aren't sure though, and you have no time to figure it out before you see somebody step into the scene, glare at everyone, and finally point a finger at Luthine. That drunk guy roars his approval at the pregnant woman, whom you are surprised to see awake. Just then, while Wes attempts to mediate with the newcomer, you watch the incoherent person step up behind Luthine with what appears to be the pistol the bartender was cleaning earlier, and shoots her clean through the head.

 

You shake your head, drain back your current drink, and you stumble over to the bar. This time you ask for a water. Telling you to serve yourself, the bartender walks over to the corpse, interested in looking her over himself. You reach over the counter and do exactly that, only breaking two glasses in the process.

 

Standing up the bartender looks around at the remaining patrons, walks over to the door, opens it up, and wanders into the back room. You drink you water, look around at everyone else, who is a little confused at what just happened, and you leave the bar. You don't stagger at all.

 

Luthine, the last member of the mafia is dead. Game over, congratulations to the innocents.
