WOOHOO!  April is National Poetry Month!  The Kin is celebrating by writing diffent types of poems every week this month! The first week is the Acrostic Poem.  A type of poem that uses the first letter of a word to start the line of the poem.  The theme for this week was Enchanted!

Each week will be a vote on thier submissions! Places will be determined by total number of votes!

EVERYONE IS INVITED TO VOTE!!

Kinsters and Visitors!!

Voting will close on Saturday Night, April 12th! Everyone gets one vote! Good Luck everyone!

#1 Some Enchanted Beings...

Some Enchanted Beings in the evenings

     Night enshrouded

     Cradel for imagination and

     Honer of humanities senses,

     Among the whisps of

     Night, the dark and

     Time.

     Eternity..

     Delighted

#2 Entrancing Spring Day...

Entrancing spring day

  Newly opened flowers sway

    Captivating in their beds

      Heavenly blooms with dancing heads

        Attractive colours do appear

          Necromancy at play my dear

            Transforming our beloved land

              Enchanting us this gaily band

                Dreamy blossoms everywhere

#3 Ever fall the Elven Tears..

Ever fall the Elven tears

No one heeds their words

Cry they do for our plight

Haunting them our empty lives

At an end their time has come

  Never to come back again

Taking magick and innocence

Evil waits with bated breath

  Darkness comes to call

#4 A Magic Hat

    A-s

    M-y

   A-rms

  G-rasp

  I-t now

  C-atching

  H-is power

  A shout comes

T-hat says he knows

(inspired by "The Magician's Apprentice" from Fantasia)

#5 Every time I look at the sky...

Every time I look at the sky

Never can I dry my eye

Caring for the stars that fall

Hoping they are missed by all

Angling down from heaven above

Nearly beautiful as a dove

To grant a wish they fall from graces

Enchanting tear filled youthful faces

Do you wish upon a star?

Positive comments are most welcome AND Kinsters, please post when you vote for acknowledgement in the competition but keep you vote secret!  *grins*  Winners will be announced at the end of the week!
