Honestly False, my proposal would be to finish up on who hasn't been tested and then go from there. That way if everyone is tested, we know we got the master vampire and can then systematically go back through everyone from that point. It only makes sense.

It's warm in the room and things have been quiet for a time now. The Admiral is making notes in a journal and has asked to be allowed to finish before addressing the group. You prop your feet up on another chair. You are just about to doze off when a blood curdling scream shatters the quiet room. It's FDM and she is glowing. Her hair flies back like she is standing in the wind, but there is no wind in the room. Her eyes are yellow and poisonous looking, her fangs gleam white in the semi darkness. She gives a feral growl and raises her clawed hands, ready to strike at whomever brings the cross near to her.

 

 

"I can save your friends in return for my freedom, but you must decide now!"

A shout comes from across the room, "Never!" and a silver crossbow bolt takes the vampire in the chest. She falls to the floor, clutching the arrow, writhing like a snake. She rolls towards you and knocks the chair out from underneath you, sending you crashing to the floor.

 

You wake up with a start, the entire group staring at you laying on the floor.

"That's what you get for napping on the job. Try to stay awake next time. Oh, FDM is clean."

You shake the dream off and stand up. No more dozing for you.

"Wake up, it's time to check you with the cross."

She stirs, and mumbles. "Just go ahead and let me sleep."

Hmmm. You shrug, press the cross onto her cheek, and get nothing.
