This might be the reason that the night is so long.  If Dude is the Finder and he's away, then he may not have sent his night action yet.

 

Mayhaps, but thinking ahead, I'd have put in my night action beforehand knowing I'd be gone... granted it wouldn't be the best way to go without knowing the verdict, so yeah, that could be what we are waiting on.

basically what kryos and amethea just mentioned is called "meta-gaming" or trying to assume someone may be something based on out of game contexts (i.e. dude won't be back till monday so the night lasts till then).

 

its bad to make these assumptions because: Talya could be holding the night actions till monday as to not affect whether he is or isn't the finder

 

the murderers could be holding off their night kill till he returns monday to make you believe him more if dsage is the real finder

 

or you could be right and he won't send his night action in till monday

 

thing is you don't know and meta-gaming is a good way to get messed up if players plan on you meta-gaming.

As morning breaks, you wlak out into the village expecting to see another mangled mess. And you are not disappointed, There right in the middle of the road is a half eaten mound of hair, skin, bones and flesh. Someone takes a closer look to see who it is, just as they were going to say who it was a shot rang out and there is another body lying close to the alley. But this one is different, there is the body of Dsage with a single bullet to his head. Whispers go round that he was assasinated. Then someone runs out of Dsage's house waving a scrapbook. In it are clippings and pictures of werewolves. Another books showing poems he's written for them. It dawns on you that Dsage was a werewolf symp all this time. So who was the other body, It is Dude the Finder that has been killed by the werewolves.

I wasn't expecting that.  To lose both Symp and Finder on the same night...At least we have the truth of it now.  Now we just need to find the last remaining werewolf.

i was going to post a comment about weighing my contributions vs. those of dsage's, but i guess this sort of settles the question, doesn't it?  :P

 

's ok, i sort of saw that one coming.

 

looks like no more viewings for the good team.  at this point though you guys should be able to pull this one off pretty handily.

Ok, so we're down to six players, and one is a werewolf (assuming there are three in this game).

 

Still in the game:

Since Dude was the Finder, we know that Damane is an innocent, so that narrows the field down by one.  Now that we know DSage was indeed the Symp, and that he knew the identity of the werewolves, I'm going to look at his posts specifically and see if I can glean anything from them.

I'll look through Loreina's posts too, knowing that she was a werewolf.

I had a thought. Maybe it's crazy, but hear me out.

 

What if the assassin were to reveal themselves? Since they have already used their one kill and all. That way, we'd have two known innocents.

Now, of course the werewolf (and I'm going to assume there's only one left) could fake-claim and we'd have two persons claiming to have been the assassin. Here's the deal, though. If this happens, we KNOW that one of them has to be evil (since I don't think an innocent would fake-claim), so we lynch one of them. If they turn out to be innocent, we lynch the other one the next day.

Thoughts?

 

I made some quick projections, and basically we have to get the werewolf either today or tomorrow.

Night 5: kill innocent (1 innocent, 1 werewolf left – GAME OVER - werewolves win)

 

Scenario 2

Day 4: lynch innocent (4 innocents, 1 werewolf left)

Night 4: kill innocent (3 innocents, 1 werewolf left)

Day 5: lynch werewolf (3 innocent, 0 werewolves – GAME OVER - innocents win)

Day 4: lynch werewolf (4 innocents, 0 werewolves left – GAME OVER - innocents win)

That isn't a bad idea actually.  Having two confirmed innocents would definitely cut down our list of suspects.  Well, I guess we've got to start somewhere:  I am/was not the assassin.

A reread is a good idea guys.  lol That reminds me... the werewolves nearly had their symp lynched the first day! *giggles*

I fully agree to the assassin revealing himself. At this point, it'll be a prudent thing to do. It'll give us another innocent or a conflict, and I don't think the werewolf will jump out and call himself the assassin in this case as it would cause him to be easily killed and not win. He's on his own, so he has to tread carefully.

 

I am not/nor was I ever the assassin.
