Ok, we've figured out the decade it's from. Now to narrow down the field a bit...

 

Q3: Was this film nominated for any Academy Awards (for acting, directing, anything)?

Hmmm, he is really convinced we will not get this and we may not as the last two games have been won with the use of lists. 

 

A few things that we might consider asking:

 

Genre (maybe phrase the question to include more than one genre to help narrow down in less questions)

Popularity (seeing as Kivam is SURE we don't know what it is, maybe ask about money made or if it's IMDB score is above a certain point)

We might want to ask it's nationality

We need to figure out how to narrow down the possible genres with a single question that covers more than one. If anyone has an idea on how to accomplish this, speak up.

Paityr, the problem with asking a single question that covers more then one question, like the year, genere, ect, its hit or miss. IF they answer yes, you just determined several things, if they answered no, that doesn't mean its not one of the fields said fields, just that at least 1 of them is..

 

an example of a question to be used is this (Do not use!)

"Was this foriegn sci-fi film that won more then 1 oscar made after december 31, 1995"

 

that, above would be an example of a major hit and miss, if we got a yes, that would be awesome... A no answers nothing..

I don't think theres any other way, outside of dates that you'll get multiple answer, out of one single question, that isn't hit or miss..

I'm sorry, but you are going to have to be more specific than that.  Define "relatively unknown".  And which actors?  Are we limited to main characters, the top 5 actors on the masthead, or are you including anyone appearing in the film for any length of time at all, including cameos?

Relatively unkown actors, as in, actors who are unknown, not common names until this film was made. They may have been in other films, before this said film, but became 'known' after the movie came out.

 

This reflects the main cast of actors, not the actors who just randomly walk in and leave. >_> (if that makes any sense.)

Sin, do you mean actors became famous because of this movie, or simply that they were not household names at the time of the movie release, and may have become famous in some movie after this one?

Aye, or some of the unknowns that have been used in other top box office hollywood movies. (lotr maybe?)

It is not true that all of the main characters were played by relative unknowns.  If you want to know whether any of them were, you'll have to ask another question  :D

So we can at least gather from that the the actors in the movie, were at least mainstream actors, but there may have been a few unknown cast members. :P
