New Admin of the Role Play and Community Organisations: Elgee!

Elgee joined Dragonmount in December 2006, after lurking for a while, and officially joined the White Tower Social Group in the beginning of 2007. Maria, the then Keeper, asked for volunteers to help with the White Tower Newsletter in March 2007.

 

Elgee put up her hand, and obviously has not learnt her lesson since! But that was the start of her life-long obsession with Dragonmount. Also in March she was raised to Accepted, and in April 2007 apparently shocked everyone (except of course Mystica) by joining the Red Ajah. Not long after that she was raised to Aes Sedai.

 

Enter the Role-Playing Side: After the Great Exodus (if you know, you know) Elgee was asked to join the Role-Playing side in February 2008 as Assistant Division Leader and Mistress of Novices of the White Tower, then promoted to Division Leader in September 2009.

 

In the mean time, at the Social Side (formerly known as The Orgs): In 2008 Elgee joined the Black Tower Social Group, where she was eventually promoted to Asha’Man, then Attack Leader and also Chosen.

 

In 2009 she stepped away from the BT, because: In October 2009 she was also appointed as Keeper of the Chronicles (ie Assistant Social Group Leader) at the White Tower & Warders Social Group, and then in February 2011 as Amyrlin Seat (ie Social Group Leader).

 

The 2 became 1, but not in the best way: Even after being made Group Leader of the White Tower & Warders Social side, Elgee remained as such until September 2012, when she had to resign due to ill health. Both the RP and the Social Groups were very active at the time, and she loved both equally, but felt that she only had enough spoons for the Social side, which did not require writing long RPs on top of the usual admin work. In Elgee’s words: “I’ve missed it so badly, which is why right now I’m so very happy and excited for the 1 to become 2 again!”
