Not even close to being correct. Gifs show what the poster wants to, or tries to, show, not the tone of their language and their subconscious cues. Gifs do not have subtext. Did not happen, I was talking about the then ongoing discussion about gifs/memes being spam or not in the context of Ithi/Sinister on which I was pontificating my opinion (Shad I believe had also commented on this in his reads). I cannot "read" gifs, and in my opinion, they don't constitute real gameplay, though they are entertaining and certainly don't mean they shouldn't be used, just that they are no substitute for words in way, shape or form. Apparently opinions vary.

I never said Heavy looked scummy, I didn’t really have a read on him. His post gave me some townie vibes as it was a lot clearer than his others and level headed.

And those that played with me a decade+ ago, would likely remember that I've played exactly the same whether I was scum or town. I'm not lying when I say I'm a lightning rod. I don't think I've ever made it to D3.

Kind of like how some of us spend actual time out of our day posting actual words during N0, and whether you like those posts or not, the the only response you get from that posts felt like a bunch of lazy GIF responses. Whether they are a "real" response to the post or not, was irrelevant to me.

Calling those posts "spam" isn't obtuse. It's a matter of... If you don't want your posts to be called spam, maybe post content that has some actual word count to them with some actual words beyond just a gif.

I tried to move the game forward by getting people to give me some of their early reads, and only one of you (Peace) actually did so. Darthe was killed before he could. Ithi's attacking me every chance she' gets. I'm just digging my own grave with every word, as per normal whenever I play Mafia. (Town, pay attention to all the non-voters and the people who hammer, it's likely all the information you're going to get this game)

At this point, I'm just babbling...

That said. Who here do we think is most likely to have caught Darthe's slip?

I only just caught it last night by accident.

Well lets see.

In a world that Town!Heavy exists,

Wolf!Peace, might for instance, attempt to create a narrative that Town! or Wolf!Leelou was coaching Newbie Heavy on that Post, so that Leelou could swoop in and say "good job Heavy! You gained town cred for that!".

Peace definitely saw my follow up post 3 minutes later and choose to ignore that when they made that post regarding the Heavy/Leelou coaching post, so I damn well know they were going to attempt to use that later in the game as some sort of justification that one, both, or all 3 of us must be wolves.

I saw their post as genuine Distancing Post from either You or Leelou... But it could just as easily be a false flag. A common tactic I employed last game, was making you all think I was allies with people I wasn't. I would purposely seed these random lines into my conversations where I'd distance myself from one person, or defend someone else, just to make you all think I was allied or not allied with someone else.
