@peacesells I thanked him because at least he has voted, which is more than a lot of people in this game.

and as i generally track people on their behaviour, a tenuous vote for sketchy reasons is more useful than no vote at all.

Does this not apply to all people and all votes or only Peace?

I would like to see more from Ithi about other players. Her "I saw one thing and I'm pushing that to the exclusion of all else" would feel a little too similar to last game. It also means there would be nothing to get a read on except that one wolf read, and everyone can be wrong about a D1 wolf read.

That said I like her reasoning mostly, but my read is thrown by her antagonistic style. Will go with a town lean for now, though not without suspicions.

I like that Ithi feels like she's hunting but I never like seeing one player spend all their time on another one player, and especially so, as Heavy put it, antagonistically.

1st bold: She's the one pushing for votes, so I'm asking if she has a suggestion, cause if not I'm gonna give my vote when I'm ready and actually convinced of a players alignment and not just because there are convenient trains placed before me.

2nd bold: why not?

@SinisterDeath calling himself a known lightning rod is a lie. He posted pages and pages of absolute flack in the last game and they let him. He got hardly any pressure about it. He's not a lightning rod so I'm not sure why he said it. He did make this whole massive post about Darthe... just before Darthe was killed. I think it's more likely to be a clumsy attempt to distance himself away from Darthe's death.

Darthe's post, was

Tuesday Night, at around 10:57pm.

My post was the next morning, about 2 hours later around 10am after I had caught up in the topic and got around to addressing Darthe's oversight.

6 hours later, at 4pm ish for me, night 0 ended.

By that point, I had literally been waiting... All day for Darthe's reply.

Because Peace was the one who asked me.

I can only vote one person at a time. I'm not antagonistic. I'm pointing out why I think he's mafia and I'm voting for him.

Once again defending himself only. If you think I'm Town, should you not be using your energy to find mafia?

We should all be pushing for votes. This isn't like the games we've played before. There's no highest train lynch choices if we fail to get a majority. A random person will just die. I don't want that to be me. You shouldn't want it to be you. You should want it to be a person who you think is Mafia.

TLDR: we shouldn't be sitting back in this game.

I think you missed the part where I said I had to reevaluate my read on you, because when quoted Darthe's post, I realized I couldn't read, so I reset you as a town lean from there.

Then your continued refusal to offer any of your own "reads" just made you look more wolfy.

You were also getting quite pushy on everyone voting. You'd push back on them lightly and then just "except" whatever reason they gave. Came off as fishy.

By my logic, wolves want to move the game forward to the next phase as fast as possible. The more you're able to control the available information, control the narrative, and seed the doubts of who is Mafia, the more likely you can get townie to shoot townie, and investigate each other instead of wolves.

I mean, you've even pushed the idea I must be a wolf because I thought hey, maybe some townies going stump may not be a bad thing... Specially the more vocal ones like.. you know... Darthe (If he was town). Who could help lead us town to a Victory.

Particularly if we're faced with several very vocal "leader" Mafia.

This becomes.. very bad if we have a lot of "spirit voters" who are hanging on every word of some very vocal "wolves".

That all said.

Do I believe you're Mafia in this game?

Or are you trying your best to scum hunt?

That... I don't know.

I see glimpses of wolfy manipulation.

But I also see town behavior of someone that thinks they've found a "gotcha" and are running with it, and trying to build a case out of sheere madness, and what else do you have to work with?

I don't think pushing for vites just for the sake of votes is a good thing, but pushing people to play definitely is.

We need to know what is on people's minds even details about null reads, about uncertainties. That info allows people to form reads and respond to them which allows reads on the responses and so on.

Keeping thoughts to yourself, discussing non-game issues, memeing, make everything more difficult for town.

For example, Gudrean, you were defending an attack on Teph. Is this because you think he is town? For what reasoning? Do you think the criticism was wolf motivated? Or was it a dry, I'm  taking this point out of context so I'm not leaning town or mafia on anyone.

Everyone can of course play however they want, but sharing thoughts and interacting with others are pro-town moves, IMHO at least. At the moment Gudrean you seem a bit removed from the thread, unwilling to share your thoughts and that is suspicious. Plus to reach a hammer we don't want to leave it too late to start trains as that would make it too easy for the wolves to dictate which elimination options there are, as I see it. So no one must vote, hut the later you leave it the less meaningful choice you will have, and the less chance your vote will pressure someone into doing something if there are already established trains you don't like.

Just woke up. Ithi did you make that song with AI or just found one with Sinister in the lyric.  Either way hilarious.

Gonna jump in the shower.

I have a busy morning unless my business partner changes his mind about looking at a flip property out of town. So I’ll probably be back on in the afternoon.

With DPR saying there is definitely a path to victory that gives me some measure of hope.  Going to think about it how to logic it out.

I remember you saying you wanted to vote 3rd.

And I said yes... because 2nd is always Mafia.

And then no one wanted me to make songs about them so no one voted 2nd.

But then Turin did and hence Turin is Mafia.

Your voting for her because of her behaviour last game. Ithi is pointing out parallels and themes that Sinister has used in both games. I think there is a meaningful distinction there, and I don't really understand you taking one-line potshots instead of hunting wolves. Certainly you are defending yourself, or defending your case, or giving your reads.

Ithi has given a ton of reasoning on Sinister and fairly broad reads on the whole game. You seem to be voting Tigs on policy or because she was a wolf last game, neither of which seem very convincing to me. Unless you have more to go on?

I mean one piece of information we are going to use in this game is voting. Just because this isn’t a traditional game doesn’t mean that we should hold off actively moving the game. At the end of the day there will be a lynch and I’d rather it not be random and that we have control over something. I get not rushing a vote, but who are your top 3 you could vote or are looking at?

Do you think he’s town?
