I'm one of those folks.  The easy way to read DPR:  don't bother on D1.  He can replicate his town game as scum easily at first - but like with all things, it gets more difficult to keep it up (giggity) the longer it goes on (also, giggity).

 

 

 

 

This is an excellent point.  I didn't have a read on you yet, but after this and the next handful of posts, I'm actually feeling pretty good with Turin.  That said, I still lean town on Key (I don't think she intended to imply).

That might be his best reads list of the game tbh, lol. I feel like we are ignoring a lot of his general gameplay and today has just been muddies by spec talk. What is crazy to me is dice just accused me of Spec talk but it's only because he wants to use spec talk to try and discredit my roleblock. This all seems rather fishy I am going to post about that in a sec.
This is all Verb has done today IMO, and it's a good portion of what dice is focused on. I am about to go back and iso verb.

This was the last time verb was in the thread, I read this as an attempt to discredit me and when I actually show him my reasoning he just backs off and quits. If he was town I think we would have gotten more out of him today than trying to clear himself with his role alone.

That’s my life and remember I don’t get to read one page at a time.  I wake up to 20 which I try to get thru before I have to work or leave for work.  I’m often doing that at 5am so don’t give me any guff about not trying. Iirc there’s a progression for why goes when. I THINK there’s a hierarchy like town goes first here scum goes first there but I’m not sure

 

if there is then that progression would decide which rb goes first meaning their action would work and the second ones wouldn’t. I do know it’s possible for two rbs to block the same person at the same time but the effect is just like if one person does it

Re mechanically clear. Or you know, you read things verb said, know a little bit about mafia games and think he has a point that it’s  unlikely.  Hence me saying MECHANICALLY cleared not lock clear.  I don’t KNOW it’s true. I THINK it’s true because the mechanics make sense to me

i agree with Zander that your assuming your rob if you had one worked. You don’t know that. You also don’t know if the rob stops the factional kill or JUST Gudreams action. I’ve seen both.

 

Busdriver is very possible especially in a game where town is powered up. Not guaranteed but possible. I only raised it to give an example of a role that bypasses a role block. 

 

2 kills. A) as said above you don’t know you blocked the factional kill b) you DO realise one of the flips was a big shot right? And c) there’s two mafia teams so that’s a possibility of multiple kills up to 3 or even 4 considering you say your a joat

This is not what mechanically cleared means and the fact that you are arguing so adamantly that the game mechanics make Verb town in your mind, while simultaneously while trying to find ways to ignore the block last night is telling. You keep coming up with what if scenarios but mechanically cleared is what GUS IS. A roleblocked player is not killing someone (We have talked about the what ifs enough)

 

When your scenarios dont work on discrediting you throws out Joat can be scum lol, but refuse to think neighbors can be??? Why use your opinions to try to mech clear someone but refuse gameplay that might mech clear someone unless something very paticular happened on a 20% chance that may not even be in the game....

I think there is more speculation in trying to say my roleblock wouldn't hit because of X/Y

I have talked about it being a possibility. Literally in the post to dice Zander. I talk about the % of my roleblock actually being redirected/blocked. It is more likely that it went though, than it did not go through and I am standing firm on that which is why I said she is less likely to be a wolf

I actually disagree with the bottom.  2 x1 RB isn't a stretch for Town...like not saying it is for sure but I don't find that reaching.

 

I totally agree that's Seph not allowing/factoring in his RB coulda been tampered with or negated in a semi advanced to advanced game concerns me greatly.
