I'm curious about something, what happens if the black bonestone is given to the witch? they mentioned something different would happen but I don't understand what. Do we know? Should whoever has it give it to her? or is it best not to use it no matter what so the murderer's don't get it

I agree with whomever said we should think more on what the possible outcome is if we give the witch the black bonestone. Would it have an opposite effect? Would it neutralize it, or possiby turn it into something else entirely? I also agree that the bonestone should be handed over to a confirmed innocent (preferably Barm), if that is even an option.

As others have said, It hurts everyone who uses it.

It hurts innocent, because whatever leeds they have are now gone.

It hurts assassins, because now they don't know who is innocent, nor who are the new assassins. Ie, now they get to play the good guys.

Point being, It hurts everyone.

We are almost told to give it to the witch, but that outcome may be worse then the current outcome if someone were to use it. Or it could be benificial. If it does the opposite, it could reveal all the assassins, for instance.

Or it could reveal everyones role, or switch everyone to an assassin, and leave 1 guy an innocent...

Who knows...

We are trying to become pirates, Pirates aren't exactly 'good guys'. So really, thats a moot point. I doubt Cleo is an Assassin, I have seen little evidence pointing to the contrary. *Specially if I get that 'bribe of cookies* /hint /hint /nudge /nudge.

If anything, you all are reading what she said out of context... Do you really think an Assassin would be so careless? :P

If I were evil, and I got my hands on the black bonestone, I would use it the second my team dropped below 3 players.  It would all but assure an assassin victory - and even if I lost in my new alignment as an innocent, I'd consider it a victory, since my strategy would have won the game for the team I was on.  Same thing with getting an innocent to do my dirty work for me.

Alys - at this point, I'm also more likely to be healed than anyone else.  Right now, I'd love for the assassins to take a shot at me - until the finder reveals, there's probably a 75% chance the kill would fail, which only helps us.

I think that would be revealed - it's a role like any other, and symp is certainly an alignment - but can we get mod confirmation?

FOUND AND USED    The Yellow piece will let you force a player to reveal their [glow=red,2,300]alignment/role[/glow]. Rufae has used this piece to reveal Kivam as a roleless innocent.
