Off page moments that need to be on screen?

Re reading the books I am finding myself thinking about things that I want to see in the TV show, and realise there are a number of events that as a reader you never see in the first person, but, on screen will make great action scenes. 
 

a Couple I can think of (up to Fires of Heaven). 
 

Gaul and Loial closing the gateway. 
Mat killing Couladin. 
Avihendas vision her first visit to Rhuieden (this I am on the fence about). 
 

So which off page moments that you hear about but never see first hand do you want to be given screen time?

Mat killing Couladin is the big one for me.

 

I'd also kind of like to see Tuon arriving back in the court to retake command of the Seanchen.

I suspect that we will see Suan's trial and the fighting in the tower (assuming that is not a plot point they change) rather than remembering it in Min's POV.

Gaul and Loial closing the gate would take up too much time i think.

Assuming we get Rands view it would be very similar to Aviendhas just through a different ancestors eyes.( i way be getting the visions order wrong here.)

Mat actually killing Couladin was not a very long fight i thought the way he described it was almost like Couladin was trying to go through him and he killed him straight up not like a duel or anything.

 

Gawyn fighting his teachers would be something i would like to see on screen.

I am talking about the first time she goes, when she sees the different versions of the future in the 3 rings, where she learns her future is with Rand. I would like to see these as flashbacks maybe to help explain more about her emotions during that time. 
 

I forgot about the splitting of the tower, yes seeing that on screen would be good.

I am bemused by people bringing up Perrin spanking Faile repeatedly. But pardon me if I'm wrong had she not been the one striking him on more than one occasion previously. They did not have the time and luxury of taking her before a law authority who could have charged her if such an authority existed in the WoT universe. Was he supposed to just continue being abused going forward?

It would be really cool to see conversations between Moiraine and Lanfear within the snake&foxes domain. Maybe Lanfear even traps Moiraine in some sort of dream-state or something, or they have a battle of sorts. I think there's a lot of room to play with all of the time that passes while they are trapped and it would be fascinating to see them explore each other's character and motives.

I always felt the 2 of them had no contact in the Finn world. The Finn there have all the power so I imagine they where separated, they may have even been taken to different rooms the moment they fell through, we don't know the rules of the world but the fact Rand, Morraine and Mat where all in at the same moment and did not see each other suggests that there are either lots of those "judge and jury" rooms where questions are asked/ requests made, or each person is in a different version of that world. I can see if 2 people step through at the same moment the magic of the door ensures they appear in different places. Now when Mat went in he took a different path and so they all went in together. 

I certainly can't see the Finn just standing round letting them have a chat, risking one killing the other and halving the food source.

I agree that's how it must have been in the books. It wouldn't surprise me to see it play out differently on screen.
