I wouldn't really advise ignoring people as such, that's rather impolite. But if you don't understand anything hun, I suggest asking an RLO or another Staff member rather than anyone else. They're the people best qualified to help as they've been here long enough to actually know the answers. Besides, that's what they're here for :D Most of it is silliness that you don't need to worry about. You'll eventually get to know everyone.

Taymist wants a little about myself....Well, I'm 26. I'm married and I have a 4 yr old son and a 3 yr old daughter. My husband totally doesn't understand how I can sit and read for hours on end, but I in turn don't get how he can stare at football games like the fate of the world rides on the next touchdown. I work with people with disabilities, helping them to prepare for jobs and become self-sufficient. *Looks at some of those postings and nods knowingly* I may be able to help some of you....

 

I have been reading the series since high school and have completed all the published books twice (except New Spring). I'm pretty much computer illiterate so if I ask stupid questions please forgive me and try not to laugh. I am trying very hard to fit in around here and find my way. Also, I would appreciate any feedback I could get on my Pasture post. I've never RP'd before so I would like some feedback before I try it for real. Thanks, and ask me anything!

Stefania, you did a great job on the Pasture post! You seemed pretty natural at it to me. I think that was a lot better than my RP was when I started doing it. I was pretty much board and msn illiterate myself before I joined the band. Everyone was really helpful, though and no one laughed at me for it. There's nothing to forgive and there's no stupid questions on stuff like this.

 

You have my respect for what it is that you do. My friend is going through the process of preparing for a job and becoming self-sufficient. I'm trying to do what I can to help him.

Hi again, Stef, I'm Deathdealer, but on the off board site I'm Blademaster Grim. The whole footy thing comes from my original name Footman. I had left DM for a bit and came back under a new name. Everybody calls me Footy, or Foo Foo, or Grim, or DD, or I'll answer to anything that has some shade of Pink in the name. The pink comes from THE PINK LOIN CLOTH. It has to be all caps and in pink. The shortend version is TPLC. It is a rather long story from about a year or so ago when I got it as a punishment of some sort for breaking some law.
