I'm not a cop and I have concerns about Z.

 

His flurry at EoD2 with NB seemed genuine to me for timing and flurry, but looking at it now I think him and Sooh could be WW.

 

This isn't 100% but I can't stick to the read ?

 

I am still liking Nyn and Liz, though I felt they were quieter today which? and Nyn's flat "Shame" after AJ is a bit

I'm back at work tomorrow, so my attempt at slanking is going to become a lot more real.

 

@Crusher and @Zanatron , unless I'm missing something, I'm still waiting for answers to questions I posed yseterday.

 

Crusher: if you don't plan on reading old games, how did you plan on comparing sooh's meta to her current play this game? I can go back and find the quote, but that's what I remember you saying when I asked you about sooh!scum vs. sooh!town worlds.

 

@Zanatron, what made you think that Cass and AJ could be scummates? As I pointed out, AJ started the day stating that almost nothing would change his mind from killing Cass (which turned out not to be true, but he was town, and idek understand why he would say that as VT quite frankly). What were you thinking at the time? 

 

Also, I'm just going to put it to you that if you're actually town, you might consider that your accusations of people having issues with general questions can be levelled right back at you. If you're referring to me and nyn, I suggest you go back and read my actual explanation to you of the issues i had with your posts and engage with the content rather than your hurt supposedly hurt feelings about them.

 

@Sooh, I don't know what you expect Nyn and I to do if we have opposing reads. She went along with my NB vote on D1, so I gave her free rein to decide the vote for yesterday. Basically, Nyn, AJ, dice all know you better than I do, and I'm not so arrogant as to believe that my D1 soft read on you is the gospel truth, and I don't really have a strong sense of anyone I want to fight for or against this game because everyone is pretty much just middling along. So I'm not going to have an unnecessary fight with Nyn or put her in an awkward position when I don't know that I'm any more likely to be right than she is, and I might actually be less likely. It's pretty gross that my strongest town read right now is someone who barely contributed anything to the game.

 

Cass has been steadily rising for me, but I still don't know that she (or anyone else) is out of their scum range.

 

Crusher is cruising, which I think is pretty typical for Crusher, so I don't necessarily expect more, but his answer to my question about sooh!scum world vs. sooh!town world is really what bugs me the most at the  moment.

 

dice...meh. I think he's town. But it wouldn't be hard for him to scum in this game. He's probably the last person I'd want to lynch as of right now though.

 

I agree with Sooh about PRs claiming next game day if we have a death tonight. If the miracle occurs a second night in a row then we have a little more room to play with and it might not be necessary.

For those scum reading sooh (including @Nynaeve ) what are your main points of contention?

She's trying too hard to come off all composed and to embody the role of the voice of reason while at the same time staying in the backstage letting it all play out. She's also been very good at not committing to reads. Even the one of us she's suddenly backtracking from. It just all seems very artificial to me and there is basically no natural flow that I can see or much of a progression. Even her "oh dear I'm so confusedand and lost" stance rings fake to me.

Idk, I would expect some debate would happen outside of the thread between you and Nyn. It's how I've always tried to work with hydras. Clearly that's not what you guys want to do.

 

I wish I could be this level headed and chill as scum, but idk if it comes through in my posts. I can't point to any posts or points I've made that I wouldn't as scum I don't think. Idk, I literally have no agenda and I try to ask everyone about their motivations for votes or reads in order to better read them, but again it's hard to say if that comes through. Feels like a pretty hopeless question to answer tbh.

It was the best response I could make honestly.

 

I could have made an indignant comment about it. But I've know the emo feelz myself where I just wanted out of a game. And in my experience it had a lot more to do with RL stuff than the actual game. It's just hard to see it when you're in that moment. Or realize what it is and let the moment pass. I do knee jerk reactions literally all the time.

 

I said it was a shame because it is. It was a resigned thing. I stepped back from voting AJ cause I felt like he was being honest. And he's a strong townie and it sucked to lose him. *shrugs*

Not a lot of time  today but will try to find the quote. But I thought I said I was relying on others, as in people that play here more often for the meta on players including Sooh. Going back to reading  an old game to find meta is something I’ve never done in fifteen years of playing mafia. So not likely to start now. Quite honestly, at JN we don’t really answer questions for the most part.Most inquiries end with rule #14 there.  I’m trying me best to fit into the game culture here, but realistically you can only expect so much. 

 

Im not cruising but I’m pretty good in my read and this is how I play the game. I don’t have as much stuff to go on and I like my vote on Dice. It’s tough because you guys know each other’s play style enough to not really listen to what I see. I repeat that but I’m not  cruising this game, it’s how I play .  Ask anyone, I’m not the kinetic word spitting door smashing type of player. I play with my gut (huge) and try to read play  as much as meta. Especially when I don’t have meta on half the game.

Here's the thing that bugs me every time somebody makes this comment about my playstyle in a game, because i get this a lot (this may sound more hostile than intended, but don't take it personally). 

 

You think i need poking? Then poke me. I'm doing my job and trying to get as much information as possible into the thread so that i can analyze it and so others have something to analyze. If you're worried that I'm hiding behind it, then fine. Do something about it and do something yourself. Don't sit back and complain because I'm actually doing something.  My job is to explore all of you not myself.

 

And if you don't know my position on multiple issues so far then you haven't been reading the thread effectively.

Id not lynch mostly because I got peeps ahead of you. Of the three I would lynch Zander is last, Ive seen some frustration heat from him early and some stuff I can’t mark as town, but those are more things I don’t expect as town as oppose to actual scum tells. Everybody is a little scummy every game. Why we play. 

 

Ive been clear why Is lynch Dice. 

 

Sooh and you are last two from Jetcodes train. AJ flipped town, Sooh is getting more heat from game. Best of a meta indicator I have.  not liking The soft defense Dice tossed earlier that AJ reacted to.

And yes, i don't like posting at night. I don't like breakless games (dm is the only place i know that does this regularly). I basically gave up on the thread yesterday because I'm annoyed by the lackluster attitudes. So i got my break last night and i know I'm not guaranteed tomorrow.
