Darc since your here and the only thing non tripped related has been myself. I’m curious of what you think of me atp compared to say

penguin/darthe/nyn/lenlo.

basically anyone else who has been mentioned as someone to be accused by the accusser tomorrow.

Was gonna get irritated at the first part, but some of those comments may have been in the post that disappeared (don't think so) and i should be used to people not picking up on my reads, but, yea, I've definitely spoken about bwn

I already said that i don't think I'd want to accuse len (to Chris)

In that same post i said i was ok with darth and nyn (and hali) being accused

Would probably go penguin, you, nyn, darth, hali, len

Seph, I'm pretty sure you've called me scummy in literally every game we've ever played together bro lol

I think that one on perc where you were The Godfather I had you as a towny sob. I defended you and got shot as the doc for it .... lmao

First, I wanna preface this with I havnt played mafia at all, with anyone here, for at least a year. So I am woefully out of date.

Next, he has indeed been engaging Seph. Doesn't change the fact that that post pinged me. A lot of games, it only takes one screw up to get the ball rolling.

Clov, Im not sure which way it goes. I dont see the point to the post if Nyn is Town, I agree. He would have no reason to go out on a limb for a towny like that. If she is a wolf, its a possible idea to lynch her and see, but she hasn't done anything herself worth lynching over I don't think. And the idea of lynching her based on someone elses actions this early in the game seems stupid.

Im more inclined to think that, if he is a wolf, it was a slip up. An unconsious thing.

I can understand not wanting to lynch him though. He is a strong player, he has a history of big plays. But the way I look at it is this: So does most everyone else in this game. I can point to almost any person in this game and go "Yeah, they have the potential to be a strong town asset later on". Because of that, I can't let future potential stop a lynch, or else I won't get anywhere.

Its nowhere near a strong, hard red read. But its D1, and we have to start somewhere. I feel comfortable atleast putting the pressure on AJ and placing him on the list of possibles.

Since no one else is really into it at the moment:

I think Lenlo is probably barking up the wrong tree, but the bold sounds towny as hell to me.

You can't bark up the right tree until you bark up a few wrong ones. Eventually, you'll find the squirrels. Or wolves. This metaphor fell apart fast

Cass hi ? we haven’t talked much yet. Why have you been avoiding me ?

so im curious where you have everyone else at atp?

tbh I feel like aj/Chris are the easiest town reads to just kind of throw out there as neither are generally scummy in most games I have ever seen them in.

Sephhhhh *Snuggles*

Where have I avoided you?

Last I saw you ITT I interacted? Then you disappeared/ we haven't been online together?

I gather that you've posted since,  but I'm not up to it in catch up.

Chris/AJ aren't Town reads per say,  if you're questioning my above post? I said they're not good D1 lynches - and this kind of relates to 'ever' unless alarm bells are screaming at me a la AJScumburnout vibes.

Don't have any strong leans either way atp, have posted thoughts on AJ/Hallia/Dice as ~ok to me for now read-wise.

Still catching up/working on/need more from everyone else.

You tried, and that's all that matters. o/

Also if Lenlo is mafia, I'm pretty sure his posts about "AJ can do better" completely spews AJ town.  We're a long way from that point, and I really do think Len sounded townie in that post.  Nobody tell him I said that.

Im glad you think so. Wish I could read that scribble at the bottom, but my eyes arnt like they used to be.

Seph is trending up for me, too.  I don't think he knows my only weakness as town is validating how smart I am by just agreeing with me and complimenting my ability to process thoughts, so I think the ~mindmelds are legitimate.

Ah, but the true 4th dimensional move is to run opposite you in every sense, so you know they arn't just sheeping you but are a free spirit.

Yea, ~ok is kinda how i feel on him so far

Funny how his meta is different to everyone

How so?

I'll be completely honest - I have no idea how to take his post.  I could see him being super annoyed as town, and I can see him being super annoyed as mafia.  Hell, I could probably see him being minorly irritated and playing it up as mafia.  I sort of want to call it more likely to be town, just because I'd want him to fight as mafia, but if he's busy...he's busy.  Town gets busy.  Mafia gets busy.

I'm fine reading around him at this point, and if there are people I feel are highly likely to be scum, I'll table him.  If another inactive gets pressured first, no problem.  But if things go his way, at this point, I would have a hard time voting no on him.

Is this about Penguin?

Yeah, but my reads are usually pretty good, so if you just do the opposite you probably die quickly.

Tripped - why limit this question to just your Town leans?

@everyone

Does anyone have someone they'd be willing to put on trial yet?

Because there are several people I'm probably not voting to make an accuser?  I also find it's more effective to get a response from people if you don't @everyone.  Obviously everyone is free to respond, but I specifically wanted responses from people I was maybe considering voting at that point.

Somebody asked about bwn the penguin, and i had a load on that, but...

Something something, they're busy which makes them hard to read, and i can't read them normally

Like, apparently them being busy/not here is nai, and i shouldn't push them on that

But they're acting similar to last game (minus reads that i haven't seen here yet) and they were scum then

But most of that *could* just be because they're busy, which is frustrating

And they're super good at changing up their game, hence me never catching them, so, like... Would they come into this game doing the same?

Would love to see game related stuff, but...

Pretty much this.

He's capable of being top poster as either alignment usually

I can pass that off to being busy

Last game i was concerned at him often popping in, promising stuff, then disappearing

He got pissed because apparently he genuinely did just get busy, but...

But yea, i also expect that from what he's read, he should be able to give more than just a lecture on polygraphs

And especially this.

I don’t really like that, but ehhhhhh. I think she is on the chopping block as much as anyone of the ones who haven’t been contributing. I know she has been reading some so even a few hot tales would be nice.

It's fine if you disagree, that's just where I'm at. I have a good enough history/rapport with Nyn that I trust once she has time to play and if she is Town, that I'll be able to read her correctly + I want her alive because it'll make my life a lot easier. Basically I'm saying I won't lynch her D1 when she's already said she'd be busy. End of discussion.

50 minutes ago, Lenlo said:

lol what? So... you dont wanna lynch her because she isnt playing towny yet, under the assumption she will play towny later?

Where does "I have faith they will be towny later" fit into "Lynch Wolves FFS"? Im not even calling Nyn a wolf, I think shes been fine so far. I just find your justification for this terrible. If you dont wannt lynch her just say so. Its D1, the fact that you have to make up some deeper reason like this bugs me.

It's more, "I hope that they'll be Townie later and I'm willing to wait and see" which while maybe unfair I think is perfectly reasonable. It's not at all how you are portraying it, and if you don't think she's been wolfy anyway then how does "Lynch Wolves FFS" even apply?

Let's try a different direction. What is the difference in me explaining without being asked vs. me telling Tripped/Clov I wouldn't lynch Nyn today and then answering after they inevitably ask me 'why'?
