tl;dr AJ meta he'll either skirt under the radar and +1 people without ever really steering the ship and he'll feel tonally good but you'll start asking yourself "what has he actually contributed to this game", or he'll focus too much on cases against individual people and not really attend to the big picture and we'll get into some big argument over minutia and it will eventually click that he's just BSing me.

There are a number of reasons as to WHY you would reveal and how you could still present your discovered information to frame yourself as town and not be town.
