Actually as town you need to convince the rest of town that you're right. Thats what matters.

This is wrong. This is actually the wolves job too if you want to get technical.

A huge part of being town is getting other townies to see your pov. It's not only about voting correctly, but in getting the right person lynched. That's a team effort.

You voted Cass. Great if you think she's scum. Why? Why should others also vote her if she is?

This is why I have a problem. You are just throwing your vote out.

This is correct.

Ok this question is bothering me. Why would early reveals be a good idea?

Indeed. Isn't this a simple game?

BG is one that I need to look at more closely. Need more input from him. If he coasts, he could be scum.

I'm no coaster. Sometimes life hits me upside the head with busy. But I don't ever intentionally coast. This week my on-call has been a pain.

Im not ready to lynch a newbie. Hell be easy to figure out later once we have a confirmed wolf. Newbies are an easy target and a bad read it's normal with them. Kinda makes me wanna look at you differently for the suggestion.

I never make sense. What you talking about?

I'm cool with giving a new people a free day 1. They say weird things or aren't sure of the flow of the game. After day one they are in it. This means I generally don't hold too much of day one against them except for how they adapt during day 2.

Sorry for missing DL.

Tbh, I'm pretty annoyed at Calder because he put YOLO/ego and future Scum games ahead of this one and the outcome of D1.

It doesn't even matter who the vote was on to me, if he'd put it ITT earlier or cared about the outcome or likely response at any point, he could have avoided that mislynch.

He had a reason for voting you. We don't know what it is. It could, for all we know, have been a random choice.

But it's likely he had a game-related reason. So it slightly matters that he chose you, but what you do vastly outweigh it.

Sorry I'm harping on it. It's what I do.

Eldrick2

It doesn't matter if he had a reason, the point is that it doesn't slightly matter that he chose me - because he's wrong.

You shouldn't go

"X decided Y was bad"

"X then died of natural causes and was confirmed to be a player with no certain info."

"It probably matters slightly what they thought"  "What Y does will outweigh that though"

The only part of it that should matter to you is what I do, and how you perceive it.

@Cass what does YOLO and ITT mean?

I totally agree about Calder.

Before end of day I was feeling pretty good about it. He felt off (this may just have been all the claiming to be scum thing). I missed voting him first by a few posts (didn't expect it to cause a pile on). But then he got obviously more defensive so I thought, good I am onto something.

I was thinking it would be pretty cool if a bag a wolf straight off the bat.

But no... the universe be a cruel mistress.

I was seriously suprised when he flipped town (still am). As soon as he started getting votes he became very defensive . Being town, but then making no effort to clear yourself (looking back knowing his alignment, it now looks like an a deliberate attempt to get lynch to spite everyone). Now town is down a player and I now have to go melt my brain figuring out all the back and forth.

Btw slow down with all the posting. 10 replies have come in while I was typing. You are going to turn me into Cass!!!! (Think of our children)

Sorry mate,Calder's flip totally blindsided me.

I'll keep it in mind if I am still around next time.

I know it is kinda of a stupid question/null point (try not to brush it off), but who would you have voted if you weren't getting smashed by RL?

@Darthe, @dicetosser1 and @Katiora

Can you please explain why you all ended up voting for Calder

@Eldrick4221 has already explained and it seems fair to me

8.Dragoon (20 of 50)

Honestly I had been trying to catch up I eventually chose to vote Calder because I didn't like his attitude. I didn't want a random lynch. And at the time I posted I didn't realize that Dice and Darthe had both just switched. I was trying to hurry and vote to prevent a random vote. I really didn't want the initial vote to go Amega because at least we were getting some information out of him, where calder was being difficult, not answering questions about his vote and concerns about him and calling himself scum. Honestly the only reason I hadn't voted Calder sooner was that I didn't like how you voted on him. And I understand how you explained it afterwards, but it still leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth that you didn't do more explanation in the post itself... I'm anxious to see how night ends.

Only because I'm cautious about why it would warrant discussion?

I'm trying to figure out where you head was at in asking it?

If you thought it warranted discussion, why drop it?

i felt me and eldrick (the only person on at the time) hashed it out. He made sense with his statement. As a town player im going to look at any and every possible avenue. You seem kinda jumpy why is that?
