I’ve only seen him be a wolf, so I’m not sure what his town game looks like. The two times I saw him play wolf, he didn’t joke about it, but that doesn’t mean it’s outside of his range. I think townShad benefits more from this nonsense than scumShad does, but that doesn’t mean he’s town.

I don't really think it matters at all or means anything.  I've said it before and I'll say it again - most people who will claim mafia (either doing it "seriously", or in an obviously joking manner) as one alignment will probably do it as the other.  Or be willing to, anyway.

Why? The most scumShad can gain from it is TWTBAW, although I suppose that’s about all that townShad can gain from it too, other than gauging my reaction and that of other players.

If he's mafia, he gets a lot of negative attention and people will be keeping a closer eye on him.  If he's town, he gets a lot of negative attention and people will be keeping a closer eye on him.

 

I would guess that Shad cares less if people focus on him as town than mafia, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want/try to get lynched as either alignment

In all seriousness though, I want to hear Darthe's explanation for this.  I have no trouble believing that he could actually be doing it as town, but I'm fairly confident I saw Shad do something ~similar as scum in another game (though I can't for the life of me think of what it was).

I don't know if this post is poorly positioned (and structured), I'm just stupid, or some combination of the two.  I spent a couple of minutes trying to figure out what post you were referencing because I didn't think I quoted ANYTHING on page 1, and I was really confused as to how you spent two pages claiming to be mafia by p1.  

 

It wasn't any easier when I was trying to figure out what impression you referencing, because I thought this was somehow a response to what I said to Darthe.
