Shad, in some games flavour has more bearing than others. I think this is a flavour game as advertised. AJ said it was a "fun 9er". It just happens there are 9 mainish characters in this show. It kinda follows imo.

 

Does your character fit your role? Is anyone's vastly out of any? I'm not asking for roles, just oddities.

You just played a game in which I was a wolf and every active player in the game had me as solid town on D1. Have you seen anything different here and if so what do you read into that?

I never called you solid town. Also I feel like it's not meaty enough yet for me to make a lean on you. I mean, I hope that this prodding and poking will eventually garner enough meat to do read people on, but still pending.

 

I did like your question to Verb about his wording. Doesn't tell me much about him, but I liked that from you.

I don't know. Maybe not. When I first read the flavor I thought there would be, but now I'm less sure I guess. Flavor is just flavor after all, and while a character may be named that, that might not be their role. 

 

All I know is that I read "jester" and got annoyed. So yeah, with that in mind I did read Shad's posts last night and thought he might have randed jester. Doesn't seem so right now though.

It's just that "jester" and "recruitment" are both super red flags for me in mafia, and reason goes out the window while I'm being annoyed.

Funny (to me at least) sidebar: I was a cult jester bomb in Darthe's last BYOR game and it took me 2-3 days to get lynched because people were jumping into the noose, LOL

To be fair, I wouldn't go about it in this manner as a wolf, but that's not going to matter in the broad scheme of things. 

 

Going to have a giggle about this later if you end up as a wolf seeing as you tried to discredit me last game when I self-analyzed. Funnily enough it does make me tilt slightly towards favouring you since I'd think you'd put more thought into it.

I also thought I made it clear that I don't watch this show.

 

Also 3p hunting is like the least important thing now and I don't get why you think I'm hunting for any 3p through my banging my head against the wall thinking Shad was jester last night. If that was at all important to me as scum, why would I not just get him NKed at the first opportunity? Regardless if he is 3p or town I'd be one step closer to parity, and it wouldn't matter to me in the least if he was 3p or no. That's basically only important to scum if there's a vig.

I liked this last night, it's a little awkward sounding but the thought process seems quite convoluted if mafia

That was one of Ben's strong points as Mafia last game--his ability to give an unorthodox reaponse and stick to it under inquery. Not sure the extent to which that applies here sans coffee and a shower but my thought in the moment was it was NAI.
