There is literally 2 worlds, one where AJ is a goon and one where he is the symp.

If he's a goon, he almost certainly has to be with BFG as the other goon, and the symp could be just about everyone (most likely Verbal but not guaranteed).

If he's the symp then BFG is town, and Lenlo is a goon with someone else, likely SK/Ben.

it's entirely possible, they could think the other person is the symp. I do think option one is a lot more likely given 1. How you've treated BFG, especially in the second round of the tournament, and 2. Your argument about the Goons facing each other to guarantee moving on.
