I admitted that already. crusing is the word I'd use I thought I already had scum. no reason to wring my hands and dote on the thread for scum to be lynched.

This is bs by the way. I thought rand was scum d1. I thought dice was scum d2. On d3 i ended up voting neither at eod because i weighed in their content and others' reaction to it. As well as my interactions with others. You dont just make a snap judgement after one successful phase and do squat going forward. The fact that you think it's an acceptable excuse to coast is laughable.

But certainly not laugh out loud funny? Why do you think everyone plays the same? I am my own person how I play is up to me. Aj is town because he echoes your thoughts, but he did end up voting for rand. Or is that innacurate? you tell me. He certainly did not abstain from voting in fact he hung his hat on voting with my town core i.e. I do not think he is scum, but I am gonna vote here anyways. I am making snap judgements. I was okay lynching dice and rand because they needed to be lynched. Because they were playing scummy. Go ahead say I am wrong. I flipflopped on them several times. Frankly I do not care and did not care which one of them died as long as they did. I saw scum in them and moved to get rid of them. That was my decision. I did not pull my hair out over this. Let me put it this way then nyn who would you vote for if not dice on d2 or rand on d1?

Most importantly, while flip flopping your vote between Dice/Rand, you failed to evaluate Lenlo at any point that I remember. And my method of voting with the players I felt best about was both an act of solidarity and also because I felt there was less chance of negative influence. I never claimed to think Rand or Dice were Town. I attempted to reconsider several times but in the end resolving them was better because now the board is clear and you can no longer hide. You had a good run, Lenlo too. He navigated that POE situation pretty well but the buck stops here.

I'm town. I don't play like this as scum. Not even a little. There are just some things I don't do as scum even at the cost of being made. That's why I always say I think Im better as town.

Yeah no kidding, I wish I had the skill to play like this as scum. And I'm not seeing your scum meta here either. From what I remember you usually stay much more in control as scum, both control of the game and control of what you post. It's what makes you the best deepwolf I know, but it's not what I'm seeing here.

Tell me more, please. Nyn told me in a private conversation before this game that she is not very good as scum, but you are saying she is the best deepwolf you know, and she does not contradict it. Tell me about her deepwolf game. Reference a previous game if you will, please. We have time enough before DL for me to at least skim a game or two.

 

 

Dear AJ, Ben and Marsh. 

 

Lenlo knows SK is a goner and is currently preparing to bus. He also has no read on Marsh and questioned why he was being town read, but knows he won't get anywhere pushing him so he's not even trying.

I think my town game is better in more than one way than my scum game. By A LOT. That's always been my opinion. So in comparison i always felt like my scum game is inferior. That doesn't mean i havent had success as scum. That's something you seemed to have conculded. I have swept sometimes or peeked scum by a cop a couple of timed. It varies.

 

Bottom line is i like being town and i hate being scum. As town I go all out and i love the solve. I hate being scum, given the solve....i dont like lying or nudging people on purpose and getting on their nerves with an ulterior motive in mind. I just dont. I dont do fake claims, i tend to not want to stick my neck out and i just try to use logic and play as clean as possible. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Depends a lot on the roster and how scummy other players are being. And i think with practice it's easy to spot this which is partly why i dont feel like my scum game is worth raving on... with that said people do think i do well as scum. That's their opinion and i dont really agree with it.

Of course not. That conversation was before this game even had a sign up thread. I just saw a discrepancy between what I had been led to believe and what I was hearing from him and wanted some greater detail from him. I still do, but thanks for also explaining it.

Nyn is right that her town game is better than her scum game over all. But in the cases where she is scum and successfully becomes part of the town core, she has excellent chances at winning. That's what I meant by saying she's a good deep wolf.

 

I have a terrible memory for game titles, so I'll have to get on my laptop and do some searching to find the game I'm thinking of. Get back to you later on that.

I'm asking because townies have looked like scum, and we've lynched them to our dismay. This means that wolves are looking like town, and I'm the only one who's truly safe from scrutiny. It would not be unreasonable to think that I might even have paired up with the two remaining wolves as my core, although I do not think that either AJ or Nyn are scum, but I want to revisit everything. Right now, SK seems the scummiest, but he is the only one that I really have a scum feel for at all, and my last two scum reads sucked, so...

Being wrong three times in a row sucks, and it sucks for the townies we mislynched but that's the nature of Mafia. They still win with us when it's all said and done and now the board is cleared to reassess. We're sitting at 4/2 currently with one confirmed Town, the game isn't over yet.

Yeah, if you're too afraid to be wrong, you'll just be paralyzed, but we lynched three townies in rapid succession, not even close to DL, and so I think it's prudent to take a deep breath, generate content, and sift through it. There is time yet, and if no one else votes, there is still a lynch waiting, and from the one I have the worst feeling about, so I am not in a hurry.
