Also, SK hasn't done much at all, is your reasoning for him just that he hasn't posted much? And I could see Darthe via my reasoning, but whats yours?

Tbf I wrote that earlier before we'd gotten into this dialogue.

 

Based on SK's play alone I have zero reason to scum read him unless I just wanted to push inactivity. The read is more dependent on Nyn being scum, and how she's handled him/how they interacted early on. His intro vote had a creepy vibe to it. And her linking Ben, who I think is town, to SK after voting him for what I see as weak reasons is sort of alarming. She said it's because of Ben's defense, which she rescinded, but if you read what evidence Ben was using to defend him with I thought it was pretty objective and not in a save-my-scumbro kinda way.

 

Darthe was more POE cause I don't feel anyone else is that scummy and he's playing in that way that makes him hard to read. Purposeful confusion.

And I see what you're saying on Darthe, although I personally think using POE right now is pretty garbage, there hasn't been enough done to get strong town reads on that many people.

No, I meant you saying you thought people were coasting and then voting Dice who hadn't posted much of anything yet. Could be a difference in opinion as to what we think coasting is. I've been fine with your posts since then.

I mean, not posting much of anything is definitely a type of coasting.  But yeah, that was basically just how I narrowed down the pool of who I wanted to reaction test/vote, it wasn't anything strong.

 

Based on Dice's reaction, and asking why I didn't vote several other people who were also inactive, I get the feeling that he's lightly, but not overly defensive.  Now there's not much I can do with that right now, but I'm hoping that down the road, when he's done more things, I can look back and take that into context with his other actions.

@ Rand - no, in fact I think I've been pretty clear about not calling her town while most of the other players have. I've been sort of mulling over the idea of her being scum since this morning, and her reaction to me now with little to no pressure sort of seals that deal. Town Nyn is fiery and fights back, she buckled and dipped out. Idc if this setup 'allows' for a mislynch, that's just a point in her favor to make that sort of play. Scum could always shoot before the DL and end D1 early without anyone being lynched, so the Stump role isn't even a guarantee.

My immediate reaction was more surprised, because I expected more of a fight - or the beginnings of a fight - compared to her just saying lynch me. I haven't seen Town!Nyn ever back down before, especially now this early in the game.

Speed catch up and @Nyn - This is the town game that I know and love from you.  Engaging, posting that is clearly giving your reads.  I like it.

Woah this is an unexpected reaction. Lets dig in.

 

First, I never mentioned claiming. Of course no one is going to claim anything other than town. However, I was talking about Ben reading people as town, not claiming he was town. There is a very important difference there that you either A) Forgot about or B) Purposely left out to attack me on.

 

As far as defensive goes, I could more accurately apply that to you right now. I responded with a snippish, 2  sentence post, clarifying what I said. Your response to that is to claim clarification is super wolfy, yelling I dont make any sense, and voting me. Doesnt look good, when all I did was correct you.

 

The rest is fine though. I agree on Nyn, I liked the exchange with Ben. Dug in and hitem. Was nice. Dont understand the not lynching Dice yet, since he has 3 posts.

Fair, can you let us know when you have? It's much easier to read you when you're more analytical and fully scumhunting rather than responding with one-liners to people calling you out, because you can easily do the latter as either alignment.

Yes. She ended the game by hammering herself after having no fun from at least D2 on. It was a much different situation, but she did hang herself.

I feel like Rand is playing his town game. I felt like Nyn was until the responses to the conversation around her self vote. At first, I thought AJ might be scum for pushing her so hard over it, but now that she has responded with one liners, I am not so sure.

Hallia, you did post a little bit in caps, and that could be considered shouting, although I felt like Lenlo overreacted to it a little bit, just like he overreacted to my early town reads. Maybe that's his style, or maybe he's nervous. I like that you're poking at him, because I can't be everywhere at once.

With less than 24 hours until DL, it is starting to get a little more serious. I think Marsh should have posted more on Friday, since he won't be back until Monday. He's the one who doesn't play on weekends, right? That is convenient if he's scum and unfortunate if he's town, but at least he didn't drop a reaction/joke vote out there and then bail.

 

SK should post more unless he wants Nynaeve's argument to gain weight.

The mix up between Lenlo and Hallia is because of wording.

 

Lenlo said he doesn't like that people are calling each other town already. Hallia took that as him saying he didn't like people calling themselves town.

 

See? Fixed.
