Its not the calling me Scummy part it was every dismissing or saying my reasoning for sussing Bop was stupid/useless etc.

 

I have different reasons for reading peeps then most, and all Im saying it just because someone doesnt agree/see where im coming dont mean my reasoning is pointless/stupid. etc.

You're absolutely right it doesn't, but I don't think anybody is arguing it DOES mean that.  I think what most people would agree is pointless (and this isn't directed at you specifically) is stomping your foot about an argument for a hundred posts when it's clear the majority of players don't agree with your reasoning/conclusion.  Either find new evidence, find a new way to present it, or find a new issue to discuss.

im having a hard time reading zander and part of it is me not wanting to be spiteful due to the tunnel. 

 

I agree with everything clov said, adn i think i expressed it at the time(ie the focus on penny making no sense). I feel like he saw me call him wolf and since then he's been locked in this thunderdome and even though he hasnt pursued it as hard he keeps making sarcastic comments about how you could read me/spades as town and condescending comments to spades that just shows no reconsidering the idea. I asked the otherday if he gets ultra defensive when called a wolf ebcause usually i would expect either a jokey quip(ie a you got me breaking bad gif or something similar) or maybe even a wolf read because he sometimes people find using the rand wolf sub out line as wolfy or a easy way to cast suspicion and i would have understood that. But the full on thunderdome was unexpected.

 

Also a couple selfish things where he liked clov for his read on eldrick early on but several posts earlier i gave the same read and nothing. 

 

I find the you don't read me villa, you are a wolf line a bit odd as well(the line he's taken with eldrick) especially since a reason he was villa reading clov was the eldrick read which i assume he somewhat agreed with since he also had eldrick as a villa earlier as well.

 

*for sooh/cory other MUers* i'm kinda reading the cory/zander dynamic as similar to the banks/JP dynamic that exists in their games. That is regardless of alignment JP is always buddying with banks and nowt pushing him or evaluating early and based on what i know of zander/cory through seeing them interact on MUdiscord(zander shouting out to cory the few times i've seen him pop in etc) and hearing cory talk abotu zander outside of game they are buddies and zander seems like someone who gravitates and allies with his buddies in games(purely my opinion). 

 

Spades has been concerned with zander buddying right up to cody and i've been assuming thats a normal thing for him, if that isn't a normal thing please let me know.

Up to page 15, starting to see the discussion about subbing. Thought I'd post my impressions before diving down the rabbit hole

 

 

 

Def liking Spades content-wise so far, although she has an unfortunate tendency to misinterpret my posts. It's ok, we'll get used to each other. Bop I like somewhat less, but that hydra is overall feeling town to me.

Derf gonna derf. Why that guy consistently feels the need to drop a cryptic, discussion inducing comment and the peace out is beyond me.

I hope and pray that Cordyx is (are? grammar is hard) town. Not only are they good players, but if they're town I can confidently sheep Clov's read on Edrick. I'm not very good at reading him myself, as history shows.

It's not a shade attempt, first of all. Pointing out things that ping you isn't an attack.

Your actions seem only focused on yourself, not on any of the other going-ons of the thread. Cory helped explain you so it doesn't really ping me as negatively as it normally would. Same with OMGUS, I generally see that as being bad. Your read on Eldrick wasn't really clear to me, you pointed out one thing he did and said that isn't what TownEld does, but to an outside perspective it looked like you were throwing a fit for not being town read by him. As everyone is saying, you take it very personally when someone is on your back, you can't look past it and you know in your heart you are right so those doubting you must be wrong. I think there is a lot of logic behind all the concerns I had for you and if you look closely and try to think of it from a perspective outside of yourself, it might make sense as to why you seem fishy.

 

I'm not calling you wrong about anything but your read on me. If you can turn around and say someone is wrong for reading you as scum when you're not, I sure as heck should be allowed to view your attempts to pull dirt on me as pointless knowing that I am town.

Zander is a bulldog who can see ghosts and chase his tail in circles, but what he always forgets to emulate as a wolf is his internal emotional consistency. As a wolf he's determined to fulfill his role and will make pushes, argue points and try to keep his post count high. He's an extrovert above all else and does not pay much attention to his internal process, just the sheer instinct of what he does.

 

Everything he's done this game is in line with that instinct, as much as some of you might not like that. His miscommunication with bop was of that exact degree. His problem with Eldrick (which is dismissive of the fact that Eldrick isn't psychic and could simply just be a villager who got it wrong, as villagers do all the time) - all just patented Zander trying to find something to attack and attack.

 

What he doesn't do as a wolf is the sad puppy routine after getting dismissed for his read, the discouragement, the nose in the dirt drag when people tell him he's wrong. As a wolf he meets resistance by continuing to push; as a villager he cares, especially internally, to how he's being perceived and the effect he has on the thread state. It literally drips throughout his posts. It's something he's legitimately barely conscious of; he rarely ever sits and thinks, he just does.

 

The funny part is everyone is just like lolzander and even shad last post game was like verbGOAT.   Verb played well but I called out 3 wolves d1 Adella/Cass/Killa.  only backed off of adella for emo. and 2 of the 3 most everyone was like shutup zandre you suck. not to mention i locked eld in as my top town read.  yes i made/make some mistakes but ust because you guys dont see where im coming from dont mean i suck.

Understand that you are very wrong about Bop and I, that doesn't make you bad at the game in the slightest, but I think you just have no idea how to read either of us and aren't listening carefully.

2 things, one is that Scruff and Coward are in the same boat. The big difference is that Coward knows people here and is choosing not to post. Scruff is such an easy kill, such and easy vote.

Other thing is Zander is currently getting heat so it seems like we have 3 possibilities right now to get lynched- Scruff, Coward or Zander.

 

Of course this can change.

 

That is your biggest reason for pushing a Scruff vote over a Coward vote?

I have two but only one is valid. The first is that it came earlier and II is that people have mozied off of it over time due to his quietness in my opinion

I get Bop being confusing because I can't read Bop (and if he wasn't my partner I would be very confused about him), but it feels like he's grasping at anything to try to convict me which doesn't read villager to me. It reads vindictive and narrative pushing. Normally I can see a reason for someone misreading me this hard, but I'm not finding any logic in his witch hunt.
