Let's speed date a bit if you don't mind ;)

Mind if I answer this even though it wasnt @ me? Too many people keep saying they don't know me well enough to form a read.

Do you prefer being a villager or a wolf?

Wolf

What do you think is your strongest quality as a villager?

I'm not a great villager, which is why I get mislynched pretty often.

If I had to say one, though, it's that I'm usually pretty effective with power roles. I'm still super proud of one game where I turned the tide with a vig shot at John Snow.

What do you think is your strongest quality as a wolf?

Probably the fact that I'm such a bad villager. It makes it easier for me to pass off wolfy play as just my normal stuff.

Still catching up, and not wanting to spam the thread with a ton of replies to individual posts, but I do want to point one thing out.

I told Bop a day and a half ago I felt there was a wolf between Zander and Cory-Chris. Because Zander seems so off the wall with the contrast of Cory-Chris being very much in control, I find Cory-Chris to be much more likely a wolf.

At first I thought Cory was trying to lead Zander, but the more I see from him the less that seems to be true.

However, both have been ignoring each other now.

One of these days you're going to have to learn how to trust me.

There is no such thing as trust in mafia unless you're cleared.

Only Linz and Bop are entitled to that right.

I realize you're still very new, but unless you specifically meant trusting Cory, this is a terrible strategy and you will be a detriment to every team you play on if you don't move past it. I mean, I get it; most new players have an increased level of paranoia (god knows I did). But yeah. Don't do that.

Don't really like any of Marsh's posts on page 31. Seems very hypersensitive of Darthe's basically "jumping around" vote on him and how he's perceived by Spades moreso than really reading for people's alignments.

His read on our slot is a total cop out.

I'm hypersensitive of Darthe because he has a history of being shockingly accurate when reading me. I was concerned that he could start a mislynch singlehandedly.

How is my read of you a cop out?

I didn't think there was anything "wolfy" about Marsh getting a late start (it happens, real life is a thing) but this post just really rubs me the wrong way, like he somehow feels at fault / guilty for something that wasn't really in his control.

I did feel bad... I had checked into the game, made one post, and then peaced out for twelve hours. I hate when people do that, and I felt like a hypocrite for doing it myself.

I would disagree with that. I have no desire to actively lynch Darthe, but I have no reason to say he's completely off the block either. There are between 3 - 5 players I'd rather see lynched than Darthe, but there are considerably more players I'd want lynched LESS than Darthe.

Darthe is a town-leaning null because he hasn't done anything to make me suspicious, besides maybe his stance on Ironeyes (and some of hte tone stuff I mentioned before). I know Darthe sees himself as somebody that reads Iron with a high level of accuracy. I don't have the knowledge to say how accurate that is overall, but I have seen at least a couple games where he was right about Iron almost immediately. I haven't thought Iron was overly townie this game so there's some very minor concern that it's a tmi thing...but I'm pretty much never going to lynch him for potentially reading somebody better than I do.

That didn't quite fit though. If you're town you want me to read you, whether I do it right or wrong, because it informs you on me. If I lead a mudslinging on you it looks so bad on me.

Feel like I'm starting to hit a wall, maybe some comparative ISOs will help, about to hit where my reread starts and I remember everything after that pretty well

Cory, I love you because I was going to reply to this and say "Put Cuth where Fred is and this is a good list."

Fred could be the "good playing mafia", but I really liked his posts. I admit I skimmed over some of them, but most of his thoughts were pretty similar to me. I was going to kick him in the chest for trying to clear people with townflips, but I reread and realizes that's not what he was saying and agreed with his conclusions about Zander/Spadesbop and Darthe/Spadesbop (not sure I could see Spades-Sooh ever being a thing, but I don't think he knows Sooh as well).

Plus he called me handsome and muscular, and that's pretty townie imo

Alright, I've had enough time to get opinions on most players.

Cory/Clov- Really unsure of these two. Cory is showing his village game by trying to step in a keep everyone calm and relaxed. Now that he’s free to devote more time to this, I’m excited to see what he’s going to contribute. Chris is about as Chris as I expect Chris to play. Probably going to rely on Bop to help me with a clearer read on him. So far every feels OKAY about these two and I’m not really getting bad vibes so far. But, they are both very experienced players and I can see them fooling all of us.

Sooh- Seems to be very confident in herself this game, bold and not willing to take anyone's nonsense. Getting more of a villager read from her, but that won’t stop me from questioning her actions. When I do question she responds quickly and passionately and I really like that. Her actions don't seem to have alternate motives.

Eldrick- Last game I read Eldrick as a wolf all game long. I’m not getting those vibes from him. My main issue for this is that he is agreeing with most of what I’m saying, I’m not sure if it’s because we’re on the same page or if he doesn’t want the heat I consistently gave him last game. Laying low or something like that. I will clarify in saying he was a villager last game but didn’t do anything to prevent a potential mislynch on himself multiple times. Last game he seemed to be pretty bold and had his own really interesting ideas, I’m not seeing that from him this match so far. I’m keeping him neutral for now.

Zander- Right now I am worried about tunneling. There is a lot of content between our last conversation and now and he’s had zero input on any of it, just tipping back to having to back off from us. Maybe he’s just really confident that he found a wolf in us, or just frustrated nobody took to his side. I’m hoping to see him look into more people than just us to show he’s trying to solve this game, not just prove a narrative he’s stuck on. Everyone is Town reading him, but until I see him doing some actual work to help progress this game I have to put him in neutral.

Cuthalion- Not looking hot for Cuth. Cory said he was busy, but I would really like to hear it from him, not just word of mouth. (Who knows, it could have been in wolf chat :P) Zero content, but we still have another day, so we’ll see. Neutral with easy wolf tilt if we see nothing.

Linz- Clear and really helping me a lot this game, thank you for answering my questions! <3

Darth- No idea with Darth. I will say he seems to be playing differently from the last game I was in, where he was a wolf, but that doesn’t give me much confidence considering Cory was sure last game was his Town play xD I see him making some content and comments, but nothing really stands out to me. I don’t get a genuine vibe from him so much, but I could be reading into nothing. Going to have to be Neutral for now.

Ted Bundy- This guy kinda popped in, stirred the pot then left. Nothing from him today, no reads or thoughts of any kind. Got a bad feelings about this one so he has a wolf tilt from me for lack of game solving, care or involvement.

Ironeyes- Seems to be trying to catch up, now I hope that they start to really interact with everyone and don’t just read the thread, make a few responses and then leave. I see them focusing on Scruffington a little (which may be an easy deflection to divert attention away from them) None of which really contributed in my opinion. I don’t really have a read on them yet, hope they become much more active tonight and tomorrow. Not enough to lean either way for me so I only have neutral.

Aquilla- Where did you go? You posted a tiny bit then left? I don’t know if maybe they forgot about the game or what? They seemed slightly enthused about playing so I’m really unsure as to why they would just leave without any explanation. I kinda want a wolf tilt on this one just because I’ve been told inactive wolfs do this sometimes. Maybe I’m wrong. I just don’t like it.

Scruffington- I really want to wait for Scruffington to come back and make some responses and answer a few questions before I try to determine alignment. Right now it reads bad that they had a finger pointed at them and left when it got a little hot. I can only really base my thoughts off how I respond to heat in that I generally don’t care, my job is to find wolfs not prove myself a villager, but I also don’t act without an amount of conviction. The random vote stands out because they have contributed nothing else.

I tunnel as both alignments so thats Null. Cory asked me to give you some space so I will for now. Ill leave my issues to the side for now and just move forward and will see if I need to go back and pursue or drop that particular issue.

I haven't spectated or read any games I wasn't in (I did answer this question earlier)

I've played with Bop and Cory in a Hydra game (Cory subbed out of that game after D1) Both of them were V. Last game I played had Eldrick and Darthe in it. Eldrick was V, Darthe was W.

I do not feel confident about Cory, but I have a decent idea just from what I've seen/heard about his play. Bop is also experience with him so I have a second perspective point. With him asking you to back off and generally keeping things light, it feels very similar to his Hydra game. It will take some time, though. I also added that he's a very experience player, and he told me himself he didn't mind playing wolf and had no problems with faking villager in that role.

I've only seen Eldrick as town, and with that he was just so all over the place. He made points that didn't seem logical (some did but most had me scratching my head all game). I have no idea what his wolf game would look like, but right now I'm getting very lack luster content from him. It could be that it's early and nobody has pinged him yet, but as of right now I am weary that he's not standing out more.

I have never played with you, and as much as I would like to trust your word/others, I have to follow your actions. Everyone else is town reading you, but I can't just lock you clear because you're following your meta. Understand I am skeptical of literally everyone but Linz.

My problem is, my name keeps getting thrown around as a possible lynch today but with the exception of Clov's thing about me misusing the word spew (which he retracted after clearing up the misunderstanding), not a single real case has been brought against me. It's all, [just smoked a joint voice]"Oh, I dunno, I just feel something about him, so, yeah, let's kill him."[/just smoked a joint voice]

It feels like a set up to me. Or possibly just lazy villagers who are reticent to lynch someone that hasn't posted much.

I would say most of the things that Zander has been getting pressure for are understandable for people that haven't played with Zander, but those that DO know him should be laughing at. Zander getting stuck in a read and going in circles to support that read, even when new information suggests he shouldn't, isn't desirable but it's how he plays. Nobody's perfect.
