Ironeyes, when you catchup and see this i got a couple questions;

 

Which posts from darthe in particular did you think was him giving good content. 

 

What is your current stance on scruff?

 

for everyone else's eyes but ironeyes

 

I think he had good tone in his catchups but a couple of his reads tickled me(saying eldrick voting him was weak on day one but understanding scruffy voting eldrick for no reason a couple posts later);

Im not as confident on eld as clov, but hes probably also been paying more serious attention than me so far than me

 

Just sort of surprised to see him kind of consensus townread already

I don't know what it is, but Clov has a weird Eldrick radar. With in a few posts he generally has Eldrick pegged as either town or scum. 0 clue what it is, but I don't know that he's ever been wrong.

as for scruff, i agree his vote is bad for reasons several others have already given. My question is whats the standard in his community(Assuming hes not from here). In the champs series on MU, there are alot of communities that just do a random vote thing on day 1, so if his community is more like that then i think his initial voting post is null, . If his site isn't one of those day1 random vote metas then he looks really bad. 

 

If you could clarify the meta that would be fabulous. I could probably hop on MU and look it up, and i probably will later, but im feeling a bit lazy right now.

That's a fair point. Hopefully, he'll expand on it.

Most people itt are pretty townie but there's Def a gap opening between the best and the rest imo. It feels safe atm to give z, sooh, eldrick, and spade an early pass but I'm not yet there with bop or even cordyx and definitely not with anyone else. I always worry that these early reads are just a function of volume.

I'm liking your content so far this game but I disagree with most of your early pass list. Actually all of it except Spades. 

 

1) What issues do you have with everyone?

2) Do you think he's wrong about there being a significant gap in people?

1) It's less that I have issues with everyone on his list and more that I don't think Z, Sooh, or El have done enough for me to rule out voting them this phase (Sooh is close though). Granted, I'm still on page 26 so maybe stuff went down that I don't know about. 

2) I don't think he's wrong, and I'm more inclined to think that the scumz are among the quiet players. Ironically, that includes myself. The more active players all seem more towny than scummy to me. 

 

 

 

Why is Sooh such a strong read for you atp?!?!?!?

She's not a strong read. What I meant was that she was close to moving out of grey and into light green, and it was mostly for tone reasons. She felt similar to the last time I played with town!Sooh.

It was a pretty scummy vote breh. The deadline explanation makes sense, but so did the bandwagon IMO

How was it a scummy vote? I hadn't seen any vote counts at the time I made the vote. I honestly wouldn't have cared whether he had 6 votes or 0.

Don't know what you're referencing here. The OP of this game hasn't updated since the game started, so afaik nothing has happened.

Have you... even read the game thread? Seriously, it feels like you jumped in around page 28 and started bluffing after that.

Do you have anyone so far that you find towny? Or scummy? You're not locked in any way to reads you make now, I just want to know a little bit about how you feel about people. Can be one person or all of them.

This is good questioning, I like to see the slots intermingle and blend and connect etc, so sooh interacting with scruff in any way is positive to me.
It feels a little forced to me, but it might just be because she has been so sassy to responding to others and now has a neutering feel in the post above to Scruff xD

 

I would love to get some thoughts from Scruff, so I'm glad for the questions.

My reaction to Sooh's attitude change was pretty much exactly this.

I'm caught up, I was just asleep. 

 

The post I quoted was one, and he had a string of posts in the prior pages that I chose not to quote because walls of text are annoying. If you want, I can ISO him later today after I get back and pick out the ones that caught my eye. 

 

Scruff is pinging me for a) the vote and b) snapping at everyone who called him out on it. And for the record, I wasn't "understanding" of his vote. I was understanding of his claim that he thought the day was ending soon, but that's a drop in the bucket compared to my reasons to be sus of him. And my mention of El's vote wasn't a true sus, just a note that it could become a sus if he keeps doing it.

So, I was going back through the sign ups yesterday and noticed that when Scruffington signed up he said in for Cuth. Is Cuth not actually playing then?
