Hate to say it dudes, but I'm out of service on my phone, and I don't think my new motel room is gonna have wifi. I doubt I'll be here for EoD.

Don't hate this/most of what I recall of Cuth's stuff on tone. Wasn't sure about the early Tigs read but can understand his thought processes to here enough that nothing's really standing out and his thoughts are coming across as natural at present. 

(Caveat I haven't seen him scum).

 

@Cuth - have you played with Zep before? Not excusing him, and there's a post I want to follow up on but FTR I had the same take on him early last game and he was Town. 

 

As it stands I don't hate these as options but I want to follow up some with WBK and LZM.

13. Dice - I am unsure on this, because I tend to read Dice as scummy no matter what (even in 2 broke girls where I was scum)

 

Adella, can you give thoughts about Tigs' actual play to here? Does this read essentially mean that nothing has stood out as scummy to you?

i already answered this

 

i dont put this being a real claim past shad. One of these days im gonna lynch him for this and he will flip mafia. hes tricksy enuff to think he can get away with it and probably figures that if he keeps doing it it probably raises his chances more of getting away with it

 

I dont ever see nyn doing this for real. its not her style.

He is the most active with the most reasonable content and I am not sure a scum would put themselves as the number one active in the spotlight player like that out the gate.

 

Cass so far seems to be similar to the time I played with her as town.

 

Possible on Tig but I need more to say for sure she is a hard read but a valuable player if town. Tough cookie we couldd use on our side so here is to hoping.

 

Shanti is also possible but some of the meta talk about her and from her kinda throws me off a bit. Just a weirdness around that I am not sure I like.

 

Adella is a tricky one who seems pretty level in both town and mafia so I cant really say yet.

 

You are on the same level as Adella. I have not really gotten to know you yet. I would say you look pretty town but with nyn as your other half I dont know about that. I have trouble reading nyn as anything but scum because she is so good at trolling everyone.

 

Dpr. Mostly absent so far and trying to avoid tunneling him as scum due to past games.

 

Dice in his couple of posts seems like himself but I dont have any scumdice meta to work with and he has not given us much to work with.

 

Alf is not around and this is the first time I have even seen him on the boards or mafia.

 

Darthe I have already talked about.

 

I wont vote till morning when I talk to Kronos obviously and he gets his reads in.

 

Killa, can you elaborate on the bold?

 

WRT Shad, the only content of his I see you commenting on to here is that you think it would be too early for him to make a Town call on BFG/Me/Someone whose meta it is to peter out? Every other comment about him is hedgey. What do you like about his content specifically?

 

WRT Shanti, what bothers you exactly?

 

What are your thoughts on LZM and BFG/Where do they sit in this list?

NVM, KK for now. I don't disagree with the Shad part and somehow I legit missed the 'read Nyn and taking in stuff she said after/boredtroll' part of that post  :blink:

FTR I don't hate the way you responded to Dice, but there are no actual reads/traceable opinions in your ISO to try and get a feel of where you're at this game, on anyone?

 

Talk to me about your hydra read, for example? Is this suggesting you read Cuth and Nyn as opposites? If so, why?

I generally think the best approach is to give thoughts on each and see how they/others respond from there. Personally, if they're polarised and one outweighs the other significantly, I go with that, otherwise I tinfoil endlessly in agonising circles put them as null and move on until a later time.

Ultimately you're reading two individuals instead of one to resolve one slot.  It's necessarily something you have to take on a case by case basis, but hydras are pro town in general in so far as there's more opportunity for a slot to be villagery or slip up.

I can't say I've looked at Killa as carefully as I ought to have.  Just her being in the thread and engaging people when so many other players haven't is insta-good feels and she hasn't said anything that struck me in a negative light.  WBK doesn't sit terribly well with me but after being 100% convinced he was scum in Murder Mystery and watching it deflate his town game I think I'm better off to just keep a distance and see how he progresses when there's more game content on the table.

Alf was pretty eager in sign-ups to get the game started, talked about how he had the day off so he'd be able to get involved from the start, then kind of did nothing all phase and hasn't dropped a read on anyone.
