Lenlo seems like he is losing his sh*t of TLM thing. He is all over the place with it and now he wants to lynch jist to see what happens. Its kind of amusing actually if you look at just his posts from his profile content search post only. Like a man slowly being driven insane. He is either legit town losing his mind with shads mind tricks. Or he is using it as a way to hide wolf. I cant decide if we lynch him to put him out of misery or keep him and see what he does next. So I wanna point out for DPR, since he is conviently ignoring this fact, I never criticized the TLM spec, I criticized the Cory spec. 2 different things, so don't try to pretend voting TLM is counter to what I've said. It's not.

 

Second, TLM is the/a bad guy in the show Zander. Yeah, he's a less awesome V, but the good guys from this show are in the government (Sector 9 I think) so there's your perspective.

 

Finally says he knows the source material. 

 

It's possible Shad did his thing and randomized roles between characters so that char claims wouldn't break the game. Also possible he did something similar with TLM and he's a neutral npc role or something.

 

We have no evidence to go off of whether the role is town or wolf or even important

My thought on Cory was more like a hunch, but I'm kinda concerned with you.
I feel like you gave sooh a town read because it was expected of you, not that you actually thought she was towny.

I understand trying to read sooh early. I'm just having a hard time understanding where your read.came from this game. I don't need the substantive reason, but some train of thought is helpful.
The biggest reason questioning you is because I disagree with the attitude read I guess.

Red she has 20 posts so I dunno if your ISO bugged or if I'm misunderstanding you here.
Blue I get where your head's at, and here's the thing. I can go through and revisit each of her posts in detail and reflect on what made me like them, and I can maybe articulate a bit of what went through my head with examples, but it's a bit tedious to do when the read itself was the product of a ten second glance made with all of the awareness that there's a full phase ahead of us and nothing based upon contentless intro babble will have any merit come lynch time.  And it's something I could easily fake because it's so shallow to begin with.  So I'd rather not dive into a half hour self-analysis on such a petty topic.  Suffice to say I usually drop some sort of read on Sooh really early on, and whether it be by sustained luck or some hypersensitive window into her head, it's usually going to be "probably town" when she's town and "too soon to call" when she isn't.  I'm aware of this and will replicate the same behavior as a wolf when I feel the meta consistency will benefit me more than the attention it inevitably always draws.  So I don't think you're going to get a solid read on me one way or the other by the fact that I leaned town on her over next to nothing early on.  If you know me well enough, you could safely conclude that Sooh and I are almost never w/w, but beyond that I would caution against reading too much into it.
 
Good news is unless you possess Zander tier scum WIM you're already a pretty obvious villager.  Suppose I can glance at a wolf game or two tonight when I can devote undistracted attention.

When we're talking howdy posts, specifics are rarely conscious. Her entry felt more genuinely happy to be here than attempting to look happy to be here, and that's a distinction I've had a fair bit of success picking up on with her in the past.
As for the specific post, literally just ask me post-game if you're generically curious or move on from it if you're looking for a basis to read me, because the reaction will correctly be "lol anyone can fake that" and it boils down to me thinking she won't instinctively say certain things as a wolf that come naturally as a villager.
 
If I'm wrong I'm not going to cry myself to sleep over it because we've got a full game ahead of us to establish better reads by.

This is his main catch up in his two town games as most are done in real time, or quotes as he reads but the difference from his town games to this game bothers me extremely. You can just look at any posts in the games he is town and how involved he is, even if he is unsure his comments and thoughts show some form of game solving that are severely lacking here.

1. You are not helping to move the game forward - you keep coming back to this point over and over. You need to turn in your reads on everything else in the game.

2. You say "conveniently ignoring this fact", but I'm the one who drew the distinction between speculation on mechanics vs. your "fear-mongering". It's frustrating that others are not seeing this, but you did criticize the conversation over TLM. Then you agreed that speculation over the mechanics could be useful.

3. To your statement regarding that your vote on TLM is not counter to what you did, I point to your statement below:

I feel like you gave sooh a town read because it was expected of you, not that you actually thought she was towny.

I understand trying to read sooh early. I'm just having a hard time understanding where your read.came from this game. I don't need the substantive reason, but some train of thought is helpful.

The biggest reason questioning you is because I disagree with the attitude read I guess.

Red she has 20 posts so I dunno if your ISO bugged or if I'm misunderstanding you here.

Blue I get where your head's at, and here's the thing. I can go through and revisit each of her posts in detail and reflect on what made me like them, and I can maybe articulate a bit of what went through my head with examples, but it's a bit tedious to do when the read itself was the product of a ten second glance made with all of the awareness that there's a full phase ahead of us and nothing based upon contentless intro babble will have any merit come lynch time.  And it's something I could easily fake because it's so shallow to begin with.  So I'd rather not dive into a half hour self-analysis on such a petty topic.  Suffice to say I usually drop some sort of read on Sooh really early on, and whether it be by sustained luck or some hypersensitive window into her head, it's usually going to be "probably town" when she's town and "too soon to call" when she isn't.  I'm aware of this and will replicate the same behavior as a wolf when I feel the meta consistency will benefit me more than the attention it inevitably always draws.  So I don't think you're going to get a solid read on me one way or the other by the fact that I leaned town on her over next to nothing early on.  If you know me well enough, you could safely conclude that Sooh and I are almost never w/w, but beyond that I would caution against reading too much into it.

 

Good news is unless you possess Zander tier scum WIM you're already a pretty obvious villager.  Suppose I can glance at a wolf game or two tonight when I can devote undistracted attention.

When we're talking howdy posts, specifics are rarely conscious. Her entry felt more genuinely happy to be here than attempting to look happy to be here, and that's a distinction I've had a fair bit of success picking up on with her in the past.

As for the specific post, literally just ask me post-game if you're generically curious or move on from it if you're looking for a basis to read me, because the reaction will correctly be "lol anyone can fake that" and it boils down to me thinking she won't instinctively say certain things as a wolf that come naturally as a villager.

 

If I'm wrong I'm not going to cry myself to sleep over it because we've got a full game ahead of us to establish better reads by.

LOLOLOLOL, I was gonna ask the same thing. I've seen people say that a lot in just two games since my many year hiatus. How do people have this time?

 

Of course, I ask that while knowing I used to juggle five mafia games at once and keep them in order. I got old. And drunk.

 

This is his main catch up in his two town games as most are done in real time, or quotes as he reads but the difference from his town games to this game bothers me extremely. You can just look at any posts in the games he is town and how involved he is, even if he is unsure his comments and thoughts show some form of game solving that are severely lacking here.

He seems to be using other people's reads of Darthe over his own, for example. Taking those into higher consideration.

 

On the surface, that's a bad move, because when someone is Mafia, they're not truly reading someone like town are. And so early in the game, most reads are pure hunches.

These are just a few I grabbed a few pages in. He isn't sussing anyone, building any cases (which is one reason i sussed him in his last town game) Which he responds he has a hard time d1. Which is why his reads list bothers me so much this game. ill comment more on that post in particular later.

Lenlo - it feels like he voted TLM to have his vote on someone = safe without needing to explain a vote on another player.

 

If I remember right, Lenlo blew himself up once in a game where it was indicated by the mod that saying hastur three times should be done at your own peril. He did it anyhow and went poof xD. So if there's anyone I'd expect to push the envelope irt an unknown factor, it's probably lenlo lol
