Why do say you would "like" to think its towny and then give a mid town lean?  If you gave it a mid town lean it seems you "do" think its townie. Seems like you might know they are town and don;t want us to know that.

It would be a flat out town lean if it came from someone I knew better and had certain expectations for their behavior. When it comes to Ed I'm not sure what to expect yet. Still, it's a different sort of bold behavior that I think might come from town more than scum, so therefore the mild town lean. 

 

As for "I'd like to think that's towny" and "I think that's towny", those are pretty much the same statements for me, except the first one hedges a bit more I guess.

Now that folks are getting all serious, I didn't want to leave it up.

Imagine if after the last game you played, you volunteered to be frozen in time to be woken up later. Now you're awake, but the world has changed...

 

People now try to figure out the game on D1 by judging how "townie" their posts are. Players are a lot more sensitive. They drink a lot less. Darthe is thought of, by some, as a good player.

 

Basically, it's like a trippy 80's movie.

I was honestly thinking about this yesterday. Like...

Reading Darthe from one game to the next is like reading two different people. Even as town he likes to mix things up a ton in my experience.

On the surface, that's a bad move, because when someone is Mafia, they're not truly reading someone like town are. And so early in the game, most reads are pure hunches.

I'm confused. He says he feels good about Darthe, that he thinks Darthe took DPR seriously and then he heard what I said about Darthe and took that into consideration. Are you referring to what I said about Darthe that Seph took into consideration? It didn't seem to change his read on Darthe as far as I could see?
