I think that puts Sooh at 3 votes, and only 5 are necessary to lynch. I'm uneasy about that. We've got a full day left to figure this out without giving the scum a chance to hammer and secure an easy mislynch. Granted, I doubt they'd give themselves away that easily, but I don't want to hand them the opportunity regardless.

We dont have candidates. No one has ever hit stride anywhere, the "cases" are hot garbage, and votes have hardly been a factor.

 

Does anyone feel pressure? No.

I didnt care about reactions at all. For good or ill for my slot, I just wanted crap to happen. There was no "If they react like this, they are wolf, if like that then they are town" mentality. I dont do that

 

This attitude from Len fits his attitude on other posts I have seen him make on other threads so I will go out on a limb and say with confidence Len is solid town.

Wow, solid town already? Not sure if that's the newbie enthusiasm or Cory's help coming through here. Or scumTMI syndrome but TBH I wouldn't expect someone who's being mentored by such a solid player to make an obvious mistake like that. Am I just reading too much into this "mentoring" thing?

 

It may be newbie confidence but I have watched Len post quite a bit in the political forum and his tone and attitude here match him there. Because of this I have a hard time believing someone who is trying to lie about being scum would express their natural tone so well. The only reason I feel confident in posting this is because I am focusing on those I have interacted with in other forums and seeing if their tones have changed from everyday posting, essentially at a time when I know they aren't lying.

 

As for mentoring, I asked Cory a question but I haven't even checked to see if he's answered.

I didn't town read anyone. I simply said I liked him. I liked him for giving the game a push. Sooh vote felt like she just wants a place to vote. Town needs to vote, talk and scum hunt. People who do that I will like. People who don;t I will kills them.

Does anyone know if Crush likes to push buttons? If you are going to be a person of your word then I don't like this, D1 should always be treated gingerly. Running around with guns blazing will get YOU killed.

 

 

 

 

 

From here I really am stabbing in the dark, I lean towards Sooh being scum because of her being reactionary but I don't want to jump the gun on her because I'm an American-Norgie don't really want to lynch someone who might be blood.

 

Dice is a meany head but I said I would be nice so I won't vote for him D1, however, he seems a lot more quiet than he was in the Wild West mafia so I am actually suspicious.

From the little I know of Darthe in the Wild West game, he seems like Darthe. But like I said, I don't know his tone. Also, his name is awesome so I lean towards town on him.

 

Cuth seems to be wolf hunting, need at least two other people's confirmation to be confident of that and go hard town. For now leaning town.

imo don't compare people to what they may have played like in the past, because game to game meta varies wildly, but rather examine their actions and find posts that don't make sense with what their mindset is/should be

Hey, there is a lot of carry over from mafia in RL. Growing up we didn't mess around playing that game, that's why I am surprised some of you have had some unenjoyable experiences playing it in RL. Mafia has always been my favorite group game and some how I have waited to play forum mafia this long. But to answer straight, yes this is my first forum mafia game.

 

Comparing past games in RL was always one of my best weapons, there is always an MO for everyone. You either have to have a perfect poker face (poker tone in the forums), and be consistent at all times or spurattic at all times if you plan to be affective playing often and with the same people. I now see it is very difficult to hide your MO here, or I suppose you could say your tone, when trying to be consistent. We are all creatures of habit, something will always come through.

 

As for Iron, still working on that.

I'm in E&M right now, as a second semester freshman. I like it a lot better than rotational motion last semester.
