I'm not sure about the rest of the night, but most of this weekend the hydra will just be me. Liz has IRL stuff going on.

On a non-game related note. Some kind stranger in front of me bought my starbucks coffee just to be nice. Free coffee is best coffee.

@Tink, I like you're WOT on page 135. I just didn't want to quote it, because I'm lazy and the requoting of WOTs gets hard to read. 

As of right now, Kronos looks pretty good imo. I liked his posts before because they seemed genuine and like he was trying to figure out the game. Obviously this morning's happenings help seal that in a bit for me. I can't go back and do any research at the moment, but once I get some extra time I want to go back and look at what Eldrick claimed happened to him and what Kronos said his role did. But I also kind of skimmed this morning because I was just trying to figure out what was going on and if Liz and I were getting lynched or not since it was ~30 minutes to deadline. 

Seph looks pretty good as well. I'm trying to take interactions with Liz and I out of the equation for my reads, but it's hard when we were the main focus for so long. That being said, I can't fully wrap my head around bussing yet so it seems it doesn't make sense to me that Seph would stick his neck out for us like he did as scum. Big WIFOM, I know, I know... I'm not trying go down that rabbit hole (though, I may go to the fridge and get myself a nice glass of Moscato.) I'm going to try and reread him (and everyone) if I get the chance. 

Going to try and pull my head out of my *** and help figure this out, but everyone's is mostly back to null for me until I can reread them.

Here is what I know about making such a strong bus play like they did on day one. I know that they had to be aware that this was sort of a YOLO win it or lose it moment already. I know that it is unlikely vetta team does that for funsies so the mafia must have felt like they were in a bad spot. I also know that if I was on that wolfteam I would strongly advise someone to go the complete opposite direction and be as clean and clear as they could. This looks like what I would expect from a team that has two people on the Block maybe an inactive maybe a not so strong player as therefore or the town core is just too good early on and it looks like D1 went better than we thought.

Okay so I finally got caught up from last night  so a couple random thoughts:

 

1. dricky flipping red does not surprise me: I had him as slightly scum already anyways.  I was null on darthe so now I have him as town.

 

2. I still have dice as slightly scummy.  I think he may be 3p

 

3. kronos I have as town because of his claim and that it was correct.

 

4. Cuth I have as scum because of his claims that dricky and liz/mc were both town w/o question.  Then he hunted down tiink.  He kept pushing for a tiink lynch.  Now I don't know if this was a way to distance himself from his scummate tiink or pushing for a mislynch but I find it highly questionable.

 

5. dpr I believe to be town because he has been trying to solve the game all game.  Holds no punches.  

 

6.  seph I have as town because he has also been trying to solve the game all game. (I had something better written out but I accidently hit one of my favorites which obviously is not longer there and lost everything....   )

 

7. Liz/mc I have as null again....giving them a back to square one option.  They gotta prove to me their towniness.

 

8. BFG/hallia I have as null for lack of information.  

 

9. crush I have as town cause of his questioning during d1 but haven't seen much of him after N1 and d2.

 

10. tiink I think could be the last scummate...maybe.  It's rolling around in my head.  though I have a couple of others that I have as nulls and even towns that might go that way....just watching and waiting.

You had me nodding with appreciation as you summed up your case on Eldrick as it was well thought out and with plenty of supporting evidence. 

 

Then you drop your vote on NB without building much of a case at all.

 

Will you say a bit more about your reasoning here - specifically the post where you commented that you could almost vote NB for the post of his that you quoted? 

 

essentially I am not getting eldrick lynched within the next 3 hours or so? While re reading I kept noticing alot of my town reads are reading him highly, and they do in fact read them better than me. So in point here, yes I would like to lynch him, but no its not happening today.

I think lizclov has a better chance at being town over notbob/eldrick/tink so i would like to divert that lynch if at all possible. the best chance I have is a notbob lynch as it still would provide useful info and I do not think I would be lynching a townieover it.

The rest is history. I'm not all that worried about votes 6, 7 or 8 because it took the work of multiple players to get the count to this point.

 

And I say all of this in context to Darthe's above statement that NB and Eldrick must have known they were trouble - which begs the question why?  And why would Darthe make his comment now?

 

Most of all, we have a lot of strange votes that we don't know the reasons for and the only thing they had in common was that they all benefitted liz/clov.

The reason Eldrick swapped was because he was in some way sure that Liz would get lynched. You can see it from the way he'd talking about her being absolutely town and was looking to pick up as much credit as possible. As a result there was no opportunity for him and NB to pile on Liz and secure the lynch because he'd adamantly refuted her being scum. The only way Eldrick could've voted was really NB. That train of thought makes it seem almost a natural progression.

DPR what do you mean by nexus? I think that Eldrick doesn't anticipate seph swapping close to deadline. I also think the smart play for Eld was to leave his vote on Darthe I don't even know why he'd switch unless Seph is also scum and it's coordinated but this makes no sense unless Liz is also scum. This is too retarded to be true. So it's more likely just an unfortunate screw up for them and a saving play from Seph.
