  1. Astradore smiled lightly at Lillian's words. She was right; they had a responsibility that was clear in their direction, as it was with any Ajahs. A liveried servant walked by them with cleaning supplies for the table and bowed respectfully as he passed.

"Each White is doing her part, even if others chide us for it," she said, watching the servant and thinking on her sister's words on responsibility. "The Yellows Heal and Red--well, they did gentle--and because they can get immediate satisfaction, immediate results, it is satisfying to them, to others, and even the world who knows of their exploits. Yet we could not be here today if it was not for those who worked in private. The builders of the Tower. Those who discovered how to build, before them. Many discoveries lay behind us, and many more ahead, I believe."

Her eyes went back to Lillian. "This is not just about you and me, or the Tower--but it does indeed encompass us, and our organization and what we stand for. But what we do is for the entire world. Yes, I think such a trip would be beneficial to us. To remind us of our purpose. Perhaps we can gather a few others--or it can just be us," she amended with a bigger smile. "When you are ready to go, let me know. For now, I will be back to my studies. Hopefully," she mused, "we can do this before Jagen whisks us away on her Black Tower sojourn."

  2. Celestine smiled a little at Seheria's reply to her inquiry on how the Taint of saidin was cleansed. She did not press for more, as she knew, surely, there were other, more important things for them to discuss, and indeed there were.  Celestine shelved her curiosity on that, for now.

"The time to sweet talk this Ajah and try to sell you our wares is over. You are Yellow now." Seheria's strong words resonated with Celestine. I am Yellow now. Her attention was rapt. "You will soon see the behind tapestries and bright colours. You will soon see the cracks, the heart ache, the struggles and the reality.  You have chosen the Ajah with the highest stakes."

Celestine paid careful attention to everything Seheria was telling her. It really was an induction into the Yellow Ajah. As the older sister spoke, she made sure to keep her face calm and straight. The seriousness of the topic overtook her excitement and joy, and she only managed to contain the latter because of Seheria's tone and her own tiredness. Still, by the end she was probably swelling with a sense of pride, and certainly felt she was.

"... It can be hard to work through the Oaths to make tests that come to the point of causing harm so we can learn how to heal them better." The last words Seheria spoke made Celestine's mind bound in a few different directions, and she opened her mouth to speak--yet she hesitated, unsure of how to formulate her questions. What was she going to ask? She was quite tired, and she wasn't sure if she could or should voice thoughts that occurred to her in her last year as an Accepted, who was going to join the Yellows.

"Forgive me, sister. I have many questions, but I'm not sure how to go about wording them. I do wonder how one helps someone, and learns more about the human body without harming a patient." She wanted to ask if it was true they used dead people for such things. Yet she feared it was inappropriate. Instead she said, "I suppose the sisters who work in the infirmary have the best understanding of that topic."

Goodness, but she wanted to change. She finished the tea in her hands, wanting more. Yet all she did was set down the cup and run her hands along the front of her shawl, and she didn't wish at all to interrupt her welcoming sister.

  3. In interest of fulfilling the Reds' agreement with the Black Tower to bond Asha'man, I'm looking to bond a Warder with my character Jagen.

She was previously bonded by Aslan/Jakar, but his writer seems to have left DM. So I was given permission to dissolve that bond, which I did ICly by having Jagen and Aslan pass the bond(s) to an NPC Red. Jagen does have interest in being bonded to an Asha'man, however, and not just in interest of keeping her word to do so.

Those who wish to bond need to be willing, of rank, and of course, not bonded already. :)

What appeals to me is the idea of making those events more about us and less about the Books.

YES! This would be fantastic.. if WE made the major changes instead of the ta'veren :p

@Matalina That timeline is hilariously written. And a good visual. :)

Tay, I really love that list. Is that posted elsewhere?

  5. *nods* Sounds cool, Taymist :D

    I like this idea of

    Quote

directing the main timeline from on high, in the vein of here's what's happening for the next 6 months for the whole PSW"

That was my intention with the "Rumors" post I suggested; perhaps the idea(s) can be combined into one post?

If you want to go hunting men who can channel with your Red, knock yourself out.

I'm already working on a scheme to do just this :D

do you want to deviate completely? If not, what changes do you want to make? If so, what do you want to happen instead?

I think the major stuff still needs to happen, but no need to rush it. I wonder if I'm the only one who wants one  or two of my characters to take part in big events, though. :| Further comment I don't really have; I want to see others' opinions first.
