It's nearly 3am.is anything happening soon? -
No, you have completely misunderstood. The lives he sees are nothing to with the turning of the Wheel. These are his Flicker universe selves. The sort of quantum where each different choice, chance plays out. So there are infinite Flicker worlds, though they become more weak the further from reality they go. There are two constants through these worlds. One is Tel'aran'rhiod, this goes through all of these. The other is that the Dark One is imprisoned in them all. If he is freed in one, he is freed on all. If he is imprisoned in one, he is imprisoned in them all. It is a paradox, though it questions if it would ever be physically possible to free him. The turnings of the Wheel refer to the cyclical time, as opposed to linear. Time has been going on forever, and there are an infinite number of Third Ages in the past and an infinite number in the future. What differences there are, we don't know. Different people being the forsaken, different darkfriends, different details but same broad pattern as the Wheel demands balance and such things as ta'veren pull things about. In theory, Rand might lose the last battle, and the Pattern will correct. It is suggested that what Rand must not do is submit to the Dark One. Ishamael believes that for some reason this particular turning is special, that complete victory is possible, and that the Dark One can truly break free and break the Wheel. Is he right? Who knows, but it sets up the linear story so that readers and the characters don't just think that everything will be OK because time is cyclical isn't it? There can be no permanent victory or defeat. We never see the Dark Prophecies, but it doesn't really make sense that this Age would be different from any other turning. But it is necessary for the story to think it is a possibility.

Lol sorry. Guess it was loading in the background. And I was going to add, Ah the forums are down again. But the wolves have a discord channel. And the EoN has been moved from 6am to 2am Australian time and we have no way of checking if Dice even knows because no one can communicate with him? -

So we are the point that as soon as day starts Dice can tell us who the Siren is, but Town have vote quicker than the wolves or it doesn't matter and that is what the rest of the game looks like? This set up that is all about vibes and feels and not entirely about the power roles? Am I missing something? Of course, we don't even know the alignment of the Siren and won't even if we kill them. And I have to ask how would the Siren know Dice was going to interfere with them? And why is no one else talking about what is coming? -

You mean you personally and subjectively didn't like the show? You also didn't like the discussions it spawned and the greater community involvement across the whole WoT community obviously as your opinion is the only true opinion, and clearly you have every right to speak on behalf of every true fan and Robert Jordan himself. If you don't want to discuss things, go away. That is what these boards are for. Not preaching your poorly formulated personal opinion as gospel.

You are so reassuring. Oh well. Never wanted to win anyway. I only play to get insulted by arrogant men. -

The majority for the hammer takes into account all voters not just those alive? So a minority mafia cannot overwhelm town because they have internal communication? -

So why did she just deny passing it to Dice when I suggested it seemed unlikely the Siren would randomly target Dice? Convince me I'm being paranoid here. -

I mean that bickering, the sussing of each other, then the bus driver discussion that ended in a decision to vote Turin. The control of the discussion. The way they have both disagreed on nearly everything, except when it matters. I mean, this is a joke right? You cannot actually be serious? I can't even... -

@DPR@DPR the hammer takes account of the dead votes, right? Right? -

Wait, what? Can we rewind a bit here? Someone help out. Ithi claimed doc N0 and said she protected herself. Now she is denying passing it to Dice even though he was killed with it just passing out of his fingers. Why is she denying the obvious? What the actual... Ithi is the Siren? And mafia aligned with Darthe which is why they are both pushing this Turin/Sinister dichotomy? This we need to slam Turin straight away doesnt sound town play at all. Other Town players please can I have your input? Dice if you are reading please let us know as soon as possible what happened by vote or chat. If both Turin and Sinister were Town, they could push anyone. Are you sodding serious? I hate this sodding game. Bah. Surely the hammer will take account of the voting dead? Mafia cannot overwhelm Town just by voting quickly? What defense do we have against that? Someone please help me here. -

I think Turin is the most invested, maybe we should ask him. -

Wait, gee, I missed that as well. You not only did Dice interact with the Siren, but the Siren knew Dice was maybe going to look at them... And, Ithi and Gud gave Dice a parcel. Gud gave the investigative then claimed cop that Dice was so busy with investigating that he missed EoD, and Ithi is a stalwart town member worthy of protecting... Eeek. Is anyone thinking what I'm thinking? What are the odds that someone that didn't send Dice a package would have targeted him? Tinfoil surgically implanted. Wish I'd stayed dead now.
