Hi-de-hi is an absolutely iconic peice of British television for people around my age. It was hilarious, well, when you were under ten anyway. If you notice there is a minute's difference in the time stamps where I was 1) trying to figure out to spell Hi-de-hi (this was the catchphrase that Gladys would use over the tannoy to get the campers attention with announcements) and looking up a suitable photo as I thought it would probably would work better with some sort of context. So I was absolutely not posting in response to Sinister, he merely Ninja'd me while I was busy with my post. I hope that is sufficient information, lol.

Not sure at all what to make of GK. Especially the "what he has given us" comment. If it is relating to some power role then definitely there I am at a disadvantage, my experience is pretty much all vanilla mafia. But from my pov where I know I am town, GK does not seem to havw given us much. His reasoning against me seems deeply flawed. Against SD I don't agree, though maybe GK has better picked up on something in tone or such, but mechanically I cannot see SD acting like a wolf. Peace I can get behind but I think the reasons for sussing him are well short of a smoking gun. GK says he has done what he set out to do. Must say I'll always be suspicious of someone with a plan on D1. Maybe I'll refine my game with time but not sure I will.

I'm having a hard time resolving my thoughts on GK. Claiming (or thinking) we have en masse refused to interact with him because he didn't post a list seems a bit paranoid. The reasons he is picking up on people seem really odd. Like the repeated claims that I have posted nothing of substance, that feels forced but aside from possibly looking to start an argument I cannot think of any reason for doing so. I have difficulty in placing the behaviour as either town or mafia. Some of it seems Town frustration, some of it seems like sabotaging Town. I'm also still scratching my head about Peace. No, my vote has nothing to do with your white knight comment nor do I "dislike" you. But I don't like your reasoning and though that doesn't make you mafia it still doesn't make me happy about your alignment. UNVOTE VOTE GK This is where my strongest feelings are now. Still plenty of time to see how the trains evolve and how people react.

Gah. For clarity that was aimed at GK. Would genuinely like to hear other people's opinions on what went down. But for now I'm going to bed, thankfully. Teph's paraphrasing does not quite capture what I actually said. I don't like people using the word Lynch as it is my name. Like what people write on envelopes if they want to send me a letter name. But I'm not going to ask people not to use it because of that. It is just a distraction for me personally. I choose not to use it because I already found it very difficult not to use it in my first game (or maybe second). So if I play dozens of games and then play somewhere it is against the rules or with someone that doesn't like it for better reasons than me, I was anticipating that would be a problem for me. So. I am acting proactively. Mafia is not a nice game, no, but the people playing have a choice on how they play. You play the way you want and you accept the consequences of that. I don't see this as a difficult concept. Now can we maybe return to the game?

Because a distraction needs to distract from something. If you aren't distracting from something, how can it be a distraction? There wasn't anything going on. There were no discussions being detailed. No reads list being buried. Why would Wolf!Sinister be any more likely than Town!Sinister to do these things? I don't see any motivation and without intent I cannot see it as AI.

VOTE PEACE I'm not liking the fixation on early D1. Sure we don't have a lot to go on, but sussing people for distraction seems odd. Sinister days it was an icebreaker, that makes way more sense than anything else. Teph was joking, I cannot see either building a case of any kind on this. I don't see either behaviour as pro-wolf or anti-town. Sure it is a little unorthodox, but I prefer to look for intent rather than trying to identify people as low hanging fruit. I don't think this is a smoking gun, hut people asked for votes and trains, and the reasoning Peace has used feels flimsy enough to be an attempt at a miselimination. Sure there is still a lot to come before EoD, so I'm not saying my vote won't be moving. Not sure I enjoy agreeing with DPR, lol. Only joking 🙂
