If we ever lose this book we are going to be in so much trouble Story: The crystal—Tear of the Still Waters—rests gently in your palm, pulsing with quiet, rhythmic energy. You take a slow breath and press the crystal against the open Codex. It responds immediately. Threads of water and spirit spiral outward from the page, and your Veilbrand Surge glyph flares to life, hovering above the surface. The Tear hums in tune with it. Then a new prompt appears in your mind, whispered by the Codex: “You are ready. Shall the Tear deepen the Weave?” You nod. The glyph pulls the Tear inward, and the fusion begins. Spell Upgrade: Veilbrand Surge → Veilbrand Ascendant (Level 3) EP Cost: 7 Type: Hybrid Fusion (Water + Fire + Spirit) Upgrades Gained: Cleanses all magical/mental afflictions within a medium radius Deals hybrid damage that now includes a burn-over-time effect (fire) Spirit resonance: briefly reveals nearby hidden foes or barriers for one round Passive Bonus: When used at water-aligned locations, restore +2 EP after cast Now counts as a Purifying Spell, triggering codex-based altar effects A brilliant swirl of elemental sigils glows across the page before settling, and the Codex seals the page with an ethereal watermark: a wave curled around a flame, anchored by spirit light. We're talking with the man in the mirror Story: You lower your guard and meet the eyes of your shimmering reflection. The elemental light that cloaks it swirls slowly—familiar, yet distant. You speak calmly, honestly: “I don’t seek power for its own sake. I seek to understand. To heal. To bring balance.” The reflection tilts its head. You continue: “If this trial is meant to test my will, then know this: I don’t stand alone. The Codex, the Weave, the elements—I carry them with purpose. Not for domination, but for restoration.” The water beneath your feet stills completely. Your reflection smiles—an exact mirror of your own. Then it bows… and vanishes in a spiral of mist. The spectral Champions surrounding the platform raise their arms in silent salute. The air glows with approval. You step forward and gently lift the crystal from the pedestal. You have passed the Trial of Reflection. Item Gained: Tear of the Still Waters (Key Item – Water Temple Sigil) A fragment of the Water Altar’s ancient power. Can be placed into the Codex to strengthen its weave alignment. Unlocks advanced water-based fusions and acts as a second step toward the Heart of the Elements. The Codex accepts the Tear and seals it within the page of the Water Altar’s record. A new glyph appears: a wave curling inward, crowned by fire and spirit—a symbol of inner strength. Maybe it's not a battle to be won. Maybe we can like the books and like the show - which I do. And maybe some people can not like the show for reasons. But it's really not worth stressing about winning a battle, that's impossible to win. You already have enough to do 🙂

I think you might be able to block people, but I'm not sure how. That might only block them from PMing you though. Also I'm pretty sure you can't block yourself. Also I guess I'll remove the restrictions on Mass Claiming. I feel like it might happen and I don't want to have to get my axe out again. -

Let's do this! Story: You step past the threshold and into the Sealed Sanctum. The air changes immediately—colder, denser, but not hostile. Mist dances along the polished floor like whispered thoughts. Pale blue flame flickers atop distant sconces, casting soft reflections across shallow pools and stone-carved murals. At the center of the sanctum lies a circular platform surrounded by water. A carved pedestal rises in the middle, upon which rests a fragment of crystal, pulsing with the same rhythm as your Codex. The chamber stirs at your presence. Suddenly, spectral shapes appear—echoes of past Elemental Champions, projected by ancient enchantments. They do not speak. Instead, they gesture toward the crystal and form a circle around the platform, silently watching. The Codex whispers: “This is the Pool of Reflection. To take the crystal is to confront yourself. Prepare for a test—not of strength, but of clarity.” You step forward. Mini Encounter: Trial of Reflection The water shimmers, and you see your own form rise from the pool—your reflection, cloaked in shifting elemental light. It speaks in your voice: “You bear the power of the Weave... but do you bear the weight? Choose how to face your doubt.” Trial Options – Choose One: Use Veilbrand Surge to challenge the reflection with the magic you’ve forged. Speak with your reflection, trying to understand the nature of the test. Offer the Riverstone Amulet as a symbol of balance. Invoke Soul Veil to read the truth behind your reflection’s challenge. Touch the crystal directly, accepting the trial without resistance. You step back. For a moment, nothing happens. Then, the fruit vanishes in a soft swirl of mist, dissolved into the temple’s energy. The threshold pulses gently in response—a ring of light flowing upward like a breath held and released. Your Codex glows as new glyphs briefly dance across its surface. Offering Accepted: The Temple Responds A blessing for generosity and balance. +1 Spirit Strength permanently The Riverstone Amulet now carries a trace of Temple’s Blessing: Wearing it grants +1 bonus healing to all restorative effects in water-aligned areas. The Codex quietly notes: "When the elements are given freely, they return in kind."
