90's Action Hero Mafia - Game Over - Mafia Wins
Ithillian Turambar replied to Darthe's topic in DM Mafia Games
Why do you do this when you get some pressure? You did it Day 1 too, I think. First of all a bit of fight then this sad woe is me acceptance and flatlining. Cheese louise Heavy, if you are Town, which I doubt, fight for Town. Also almost missed the bit at the end where you seem to say that you now think DPR is Town? Was he your only prospect? There are 2 Mafia left and a 3rd party. -

Once again I forgot to put a space. Was looking for the other thing, but here is Heavy saying he feels Dice is Town but is not acting like Town. Here you don't like Tigs, Dice and DPR and Rand Here you ask people to act like they are Town. I have questions about this later. Once again saying that DPR not believing Marsh meant that it is misrepping. Here is me trying to explain why i think DPR is probably Town. I think the actions hes doing in the game are Town centric and aiming to solve who the Mafia are. Now this is what I took from this post. You said he is the definition of a wolf. And you also do say his actions are as clear as definite mafia. But then you say that you can't tie his actions into the bigger picture. And so i thought this meant you couldnt see any definite actions that he had made that were Mafia centric. im sorry but wouldn't helping to Lynch Marsh be pretty Mafia centric. The bigger picture for Mafia is GET TOWN LYNCHED. and then you hedge your bets by saying actually you have doubts. So, i thought maybe you were coming out of your Tunnel, because even in your own logic you"d not been able able to show anything that DPR had done - apart from being on the Marsh lynch - that could be part of the Mafia bigger picture. so you are right, and im sorry, you never actually said the words about DPRs actions not being mafia. Bit this post gave me the impression that you were condsidering it. Here you say DPR must be mafia cos he is a meanie head. hey here is me even earlier saying that you cant take what someone says as indication of their aligment. You actually do have to look at the actions they take and how they affect the game. And yeah here you are back on DPR saying actually no doubt and full on mafia through and through. So yeah hands up. You didn't say that. But I'd got a false impression that maybe because you said you couldn't see how his actions would tie in with the bigger picture. And I read that as the Mafias bigger picture, because you thought he was Mafia. So was hopeful you'd stop tunnelling. So in these few quotes you were sussing Dice, Tigs, Rand, DPR and me. Dice and Rand had been having their back and forth cos Rand was very suss of Dice cop claim. Tigs had been sussed by me and I think Nyn? Fwiw I am with you on Tigs. Can you please tell me what things DPR has done that you feel are Mafia centric actions? Even if you can't tie them to the 'big picture' I will let you include the 'Marsh lie' but maybe a few more actual actions. Because you say ALL his actions so you must have more. Do you think DPRs claim to be the Town Hider is true? -

And what I'm saying is you can't give your own thoughts and ideas and say they were because of info off of Ed's list when that is not what was on Ed's list. If they are just your ideas why not just say that. Why even bring Ed's list into it. -

I did not Bus Ed. I am not Mafia. I was voting Tigs. I changed my vote to Ed to prevent a possible tie on DPR When Ed claimed I unvoted and went back to Tigs. When Ed tried to say that you had been Roleblocked, and that meant his action had worked, which proved he was to Doc I challenged him. Because why would Mafia roleblock and kill the same night for a claimed Cop They only have to do that to kill the Hider. He then said that actually he'd protected Nyn. I said, I'm sure you said Dice but I will go back and check. Because I didn't want to make a mistake and jump on a non CC claimed role. I unvoted to do this. I went back and checked and saw that he had initially said he'd protected you. Which meant he'd lied. And so I went back and voted Ed. It all happened very very quickly. At the time you even said that I'd misinterpreted Ed's post about the Roleblock and other people were still saying we def should not vote a non CC role. So I caught a mistake, did due diligence to confirm the mistake and voted Ed. -

Thankfully Ed had not made many posts so I was able to use the search on the profile page to find his actual list. -

She's not let us down yet! Story Update – Day 6, Mid-Afternoon (continued): You kneel on the trembling platform, closing your eyes. "Nyra," you murmur, "can you guide me?" The little Familiar flutters, her form blurring into a delicate spiral of Spirit and Air. A high, melodic hum vibrates from her as she flits ahead—bouncing lightly from platform to platform in a precise resonant path. Your Codex flares again: Codex Insight Activated – Full Harmonic Sequence: You now perceive a ghostly trace of the correct movement pattern across the pylons. Rhythm: Second, Fourth, Third, Fifth. Each beat matches a platform’s activation. Nyra chirps softly in encouragement, her glow stable and reassuring. Your heart calms, syncing instinctively to the silent song of the monastery’s trials. You’ve gained: Harmonized Leap – Spirit-Assisted Trial Progression First platform jumps are now auto-assisted for greater success! Current Stats: HP: 27 / 27 EP: 15 / 17 Fatigue: Moderate Trial Buff: Familiar Rhythm (boosts timing-based actions) Codex Insight: Full Harmonic Sequence Unlocked (2nd, 4th, 3rd, 5th) Spirit Familiar: Nyra (Curious Bloom) Next Actions (Choose one): Leap onto the second platform – Use the spirit-assisted path. Leap onto the fourth platform directly – Riskier, but skips a step (harder check). Pause and meditate briefly – Center yourself (+small bonus to jump, slight time loss). Send Nyra ahead to test the platforms – See if any hidden effects trigger. Rest here and recover EP – Safe spot, but delays trial (may trigger random Skyreach guardian attention). What do you choose? -

Not being difficult. It was on the previous page. I even quoted it again in my reply. And did you just say that because you didn't remember, you just went with what your thoughts were? Dude, you can't just present your own thoughts and cover them by saying they were Town on the Dead Mafias list but it's too difficult to go find the list. When they were not. If they were actually just your own thoughts why not just say that? -

This is all for @HeavyHalfMoonBlade but i forgot to leave a space at the top of my post to say that. Here I am talking to verbal about the 'set the table' that I thought meant he could see DPR was being a prickle pants to see if he could get anyone to pile on a vote for him. here i am again noting the shift in DPR posts tone and levels of cranky. Here i am saying that i thought verbal could also see what i saw. Which was someone i thought was just acting like a jerk to see who would take the bait. I might have been saying this to Verbal but it was about my thoughts on DPR And 4 hours plus later DPR does this. Here is DPR claiming his role, and confirming he was being a 🦆on purpose. This is you saying I didn't point out that I didn't believe DPR was really being a 🦆until after he claimed. Which is not true. Does that mean you lied? And I think that you think I'm an easy target today, because of things that have been said by other people. So you're tacking on this thought, because it's easier than continuing saying that DPR is a liar. With regards to why I think he is Town. I think you and me play very differently. You think everyone is Mafia. I start by thinking that everyone is Town. *don't mention Hamilton And then I watch and see if anyone does anything that seems to be Not Town to me. So you came in with your crafted neutral posts and it was still super easy game and it felt off to me that you were trying so hard to be neutral instead of natural. That's a non Town thing in my book And then Marsh pops up to 'help the newbie' and your posts become more natural. And I think we all know where my thoughts on Marsh went then. Tigs also have been carefully neutral. She hasn't tried to take a stance. Her posts has been very fence sitting while seeming to show she was solving. I've previously posted a lot of quotes that gave me this thought. Ed was also very sporadic and neutral, with random pop up posts and then a pop up vote on DPR. I asked him to make a list to see if he would have anything of substance in there or it would be guff. And yeah a lot of empty space in that list. Not a Town thing to do. And I'm not going to go raid the Snickers again cos I've made it very clear that I feel my catch of nonsense role mechanics helped to make Ed forget what name he'd given when he first claimed. So with regards to DPR, you've even said that his words are harsh but his actions don't seem to be Mafia. I just couldn't believe that the pirate would use a sledgehammer to smash through the Thread when actually he is very clever with words. But now I need to try again to see who might be 3rd Party, cos I thought that was Rand. -

Well I was trying to point out that Dice's rememberings about Eddie's garbage list were not correct. And I was wondering why he would put out incorrect information. But then I got sidetracked by possible things that Darthe did or did not do. -

I'm thinking we have to use Nyra here. I'm so glad I gave us that extra gold coin as a reward for rebuilding the game. -

We examine the pylon Story Update – Day 6, Mid-Afternoon (continued): You step lightly to the edge of the first platform, eyes narrowing on the nearest harmonic pylon. It hovers above a central axis, slowly rotating. Every few seconds, it emits a pure, ringing tone—high, clear, and oddly… alive. Nyra drifts closer, her flickering form vibrating in sync with each chime. As you focus, your Codex glows faintly. Codex Insight Activated – Resonant Phase: Wind. This pylon is keyed to the second platform in the rhythm cycle. Aligning your movement with its next chime will allow proper resonance and maintain platform stability. A swirl of Air energy flickers briefly around your boots—your affinity is beginning to attune. Nyra’s glow pulses: once, twice… a pause. She's mimicking the timing cue. You’ve gained: Pylon Phase Insight (1/3) Success on future jumps increased. Codex now records wind phase rhythm patterns. Current Stats: HP: 27 / 27 EP: 15 / 17 Fatigue: Moderate Trial Buff: Familiar Rhythm (boosts timing-based actions) Codex Insight: Pylon Phase (Wind – 2nd beat) Spirit Familiar: Nyra (Curious Bloom) Next Actions (Choose one): Begin the platform rhythm test – Use Nyra’s timing and your phase insight to jump. Move to the second platform – Match the timing cue and align with the first harmonic pylon. Examine the second harmonic pylon – Further insights may help with upcoming jumps. Ask Nyra to synchronize a path through all pylons – Use her connection to Spirit and Air. Backtrack to rest before attempting – Reduce fatigue and restore EP (resets trial). What do you choose? -
