When the, when the trial starts to sway .... Story Update – Day 6, Sunset: You extend your hand toward the glyph of Sway. The moment your fingers graze its light, it shatters into a thousand silver motes that swirl around you, sinking into your skin. A sudden feeling of weightlessness fills your body — a sensation of being adrift, yet utterly balanced. The Echo nods approvingly. "You have chosen the way of Sway — the path of flowing grace and adaptive spirit. The Trial shall test your ability to yield, to shift, and to dance between fates." The platform beneath you shifts. The Trial Arena materializes: a field of floating platforms suspended in the air, some stable, others drifting or spinning slowly in unseen breezes. You realize: this will not be a battle of brute force, but one of movement, quick reactions, and cleverness. A pulse of energy warns you: Enemies made of woven air — Zephyr Shades — begin forming from the mist, taking vague humanoid shapes. They move lightly but fast, and the first few seem to be testing your reaction time. Trial of Sway Begins! Battle Conditions: Environment: Floating shifting platforms Objective: Reach the Heart Platform without being overwhelmed Enemies: Zephyr Shades (Agile, evasive) Special: Fall = instant failure (but not death) Current Stats: HP: 27 / 27 EP: 15 / 17 Fatigue: Moderate Buff: Lightfooted (temporary: +10% dodge chance while on moving surfaces) Inventory Reminder: Flicker Step (Familiar Ability): Ready (Short teleport – once per trial) Next Actions (Choose your first move): Sprint and Leap to the nearest floating platform (Dexterity-focused, risky but fast). Use Air Weave to create a stabilizing gust and glide (uses 2 EP). Command Nyra (Flicker Step) to help you blink across a short gap. Move cautiously and time the jump perfectly (Safer, but slower — might attract more Zephyr Shades). Confront the first Zephyr Shade to clear the path before moving. How do you begin your Trial of Sway? -

Morning. I have a busy day but I'm happy to provide answers. Heavy. You are right that sometimes you can be a bit dramatic, but the first few posts from you were very uncanny valley Heavy. They did not feel like real Heavy to me. They were really over worked and crafted and to me that felt like you were trying too hard because you had something to hide. You say that no one voted for you on Day 1 but I absolutely did and you exploded. I did change to Marsh, because I could not understand why he would defend this, and he later clarifies that actually he thought you were Mafia. He didn't mind that people found his initial action suspicious, put he had a plan to see who would easily go along with my belief about him. I thought the idea of a plan was daft, and he was trying to cover why he was defending you. Because people lie in this game. I changed and picked the other door... which was wrong because Marsh was town. I should have just stuck with my first thoughts. And you absolutely would have told people to not vote for Marsh if you were Mafia. That would give you some Town cred. You don't get to decide when people start to actively engage in this game. It had a shorter D1 than usual. I didn't want to leave it all to a scramble at end of Day. You don't get to decide what people deem to be alignment indicative or not. Anything you say or do can give information to players to help them decide if they think you are Town or Mafia... or apparently 3rd party. I did not have you as the possible 3rd Party, but maybe? I think the only think you do that may be non alignment indicative is attack people who suspect you. I voted you day 1. Ithi is a mean wolf. I switch to Marsh ... Dpr is a mean wolf who voted to Marsh because Marsh was just protecting me. Yesterday you were all, oh I think you did really well to help get Ed at the end of day 2. Today I vote you and ithi is a wolf. I've not been able to shake my 1st impressions of you and nothing you have done in the game since has shown me that you are trying to find Mafia. You've just been regurgitating the old Omg DPR killed Marsh. You even voted for him after he claimed Town Hider. Do you believe the current role claims from Dice and DPR? Given that you were previously unhappy that Turin voted for someone else, when there were already competing trains, what is your justification for doing the same thing at this time? I'm gonna do a separate post for Tig cos I don't want to make Zander cry. But I have to get the majority of my work done first before I can spare a bit more time on this. I'll be fully available after 4pm my time. Also props for not just lying down and dying and doing the whole this game sucks routine again, but I still think you have randed your first game as non Town I'm gonna switch it up and ask you to give me your top 2 Town, excluding the people who have claimed roles, so far in this game please? -

While I'm here... let's do this! Respectfully. Story Update – Day 6, Sunset: You step forward calmly, bowing slightly in respect, mirroring the Echo’s ancient gesture. Your Codex and Nyra both pulse faintly — a soft resonance between your soul and this lingering guardian of Skyreach. The Echo inclines its head again and speaks, its voice like the sigh of a distant storm: "You come with open hands and steady heart. Then hear the winds' decree." The Crystalline Focus flares, and five floating glyphs appear around you, each spinning slowly: Sway Burst Stillness Current Clash The Echo explains: "The Airmaster must adapt, not command. Choose your path. Your trial will follow." Current Stats: HP: 27 / 27 EP: 15 / 17 (+1 minor recovery from calm Spirit resonance) Fatigue: Moderate Inventory Changes: No changes. Spell Reminder: Flicker Step (Nyra’s ability): Ready Next Actions (Choose one Glyph to align with — each will define the style of your Air Trial): Sway – Favoring adaptability and fluid motion. Burst – Favoring speed and explosive strikes. Stillness – Favoring defense, patience, and counteraction. Current – Favoring flow, redirection, and manipulation of forces. Clash – Favoring head-on conflict and overwhelming force. Which path of the wind will you choose? -

Well I thought you'd tagged me because you'd voted and were too lazy to do a VC yourself. And I'm like, yeah I know it's only Crystal Skull but still. But I see now Yeah I did vote Tigs earlier, so people wouldn't be able to just slank onto Heavy and they would have to give reasons. But it was in the middle of a post and I know they are harder to spot. -

We just go for it. Hopefully we can have a rest after ... Story Update – Day 6, Sunset: Without hesitation, you stride through the opened gate, your Spirit bond with Nyra pulsing at your side. The passage ahead twists in narrow, spiraling paths, carved with ancient glyphs that shimmer faintly under your presence. The air grows cooler, touched with static tension, and a low hum vibrates through the stone. You realize you're entering the Upper Sanctum of Skyreach Monastery — the place where the winds themselves once obeyed the will of the Airmasters. At the end of the tunnel, a vast hall opens before you: The ceiling vanishes into a high misty dome. Shattered pillars and floating platforms drift lazily, suspended by broken Air Weaves. At the center, a Crystalline Focus hovers, shedding beams of soft white and blue light. Beneath the focus stands a figure: An Echo of an Ancient Monk, translucent and shifting, eyes like mirrors catching yours. It bows slightly. "You who seek Skyreach's mastery... Step forward and be weighed by the winds." Current Stats: HP: 27 / 27 EP: 14 / 17 Fatigue: Moderate (carried over from exertions) Status: Spirit Resonance active (+ small bonus to Spirit actions) Inventory Changes: No changes. Spell/Ability Reminder: Flicker Step (Nyra’s ability): Ready (1/day teleport short distance) Next Actions (Choose one): Approach the Echo calmly – Offer a respectful greeting and prepare for their test. Challenge the Echo boldly – Declare your intent to master the skies and demand the trial. Observe the surroundings first – Look for signs, traps, or strategies before stepping forward. Use Soul Veil – Read the Echo’s emotional or spiritual state to better prepare. Retreat to meditate briefly – Prepare mentally, but risk the Echo perceiving it as hesitation. The air here is so light it feels like you could lift off the ground with a breath. What will you do? -

Yes help us Nyra! Story Update – Day 6, Late Afternoon: You nod toward Nyra, feeling the bond between you pulse with intent. The little Flicker Familiar whirls once, then aligns beside you, luminous threads of Spirit energy weaving into your limbs. You tense—then launch. The Spirit weave catches you midair like a sudden updraft. Your body feels lighter, almost flowing through the space between the third and fifth platforms. Time slows briefly— You land with a firm thud on the fifth and final platform, just as it quivers dangerously underfoot. Across the chamber, the final gate sigil ignites in a brilliant silver blaze. With a deep groan, the ancient stone door slowly swings open, revealing a passage leading deeper into Skyreach. Successful Leap! Spirit Resonance activated (small boost to next Spirit-based action). No HP loss despite high fatigue. Final Seal Broken – Path Forward Opened. Current Stats: HP: 27 / 27 EP: 14 / 17 Fatigue: High (recoverable with rest or Water Weave) Nyra’s Spirit Affinity has fully awakened: New Ability Unlocked: Flicker Step (Once per day, teleport a short distance to avoid danger.) Next Actions (Choose one): Proceed through the newly opened gate – Brave what lies beyond without delay. Take a short rest on the fifth platform – Recover EP and reduce Fatigue (risk: minor platform instability). Meditate briefly with Nyra – Deepen your Spirit bond before continuing (chance for a Familiar Empowerment). Search the surrounding area for hidden sigils or runes – Possible treasure or knowledge. Use a Water Weave to cleanse fatigue before moving on – Spend 1 EP for recovery. Your bond with Nyra feels unusually strong after this leap... What's your next move? -

I asked Tig why she had Heavy as her biggest suspect previously but then came along and voted Marsh. I am still sure that I knew the target was random from the very start. I didn't really think about what a condemner actually was until I remember Turin saying he'd made a mistake on it and then I went and actually looked it up. I can't remember what the role description said before the whole clarification from Darthe went down. I do know that at the time i thought it was super helpful of Turin to get the actual way the role worked out into the game. if it had been traditional condemner, then the person would have the player name they needed to be on the lynch for. It helped me change tack on things to look for. but then Turin played the whole thing out in the game, along with the 'has a random character to shoot/target' and told everyone not to give their real names. This is a very Town play. and so when there was some discussion by tig about maybe it actually wasnt, i went back to find receipts. Cos I think she is Mafia and she was just going along with the latest trend in voting Marsh, having forgotten she had Heavy as suspect number 1 previously. So there is the whole multikill thing from Turin and then DPR saying yeah, it dont work like that you know. and at the time I was uh-oh... cos I do not have a 3rd suspect anymore and thought I'd stumbled across something. But I still felt real uncomfortable about it because I strongly had Turin as Town cos i am super aware of how he plays. And yeah I know it's Marsh now so he gets the benefit of that. But i now absolutely think i was jumping at shadows, just cos i need to find that 3rd person. If Turin had misunderstood what the role was, because of it converting to a serial killer if their target is removed by other means, i could absolutely see him going on the hunt to Darthe for game mechanic confirmation. Because he loves his game mechanics and he needs to know exactly how they work. And once he had them he told the whole town. And if Turin had actually been the condemner he would not have done maths showing what the odds were excluding the Mafia, because in either version of the condemner it's a random target ... confirmed by Darthe ... and he would not have cobbled that I to his mechanics need to know how it works chatter. So I am glad that was pointed out cos I did not like feeling back and forth about a player I had firmly in my town list. You cant say he did this, cos if he was the condemner he absolutely would want everyone to start shooting off their character names. See you are actually saying he was warning people and yet you changed from your biggest suspect being Heavy and voted Marsh. I hadn't even had my wobble at the point you voted Marsh. Sorry about the WoT zander. Where I am at is that Heavy has felt off to me since day 1. I absolutely would vote Heavy right now apart from I think it's better to have competing trains this time, so we can actually see people making choices instead of just following along. I have both Tigs and Heavy as Mafia... and yeah I guess Heavy could be 3rd Party But I'm gonna Vote Tig and see what shakes out. Absolutely 100% will change to Heavy. I dont have a 3rd person. With regards to the current claims Dice is claimed cop. I still think that is likely although apparently I'm a derp and a Mafia going down always claims cop. If he is being roleblocked then at some point the Mafia are gonna have to kill him, which will auto confirm him, or they are gonna have to use their RB to kill DPR ... who I do believe is Town and therefore likely the Hider. At which point Dice is gonna get a read though. But if DPR dies then even fake cop Dice would know to say he wasn't roleblocked and would give a read. And I still don't understand why Dice would tell me I'd got the Ed/roleblock/proof of protection thing wrong during that whole scenario He'd not be so obvious to protect a team mate though... so that might have just been panic mode. Cos if one claimed role can be Lynched then he's worried he could be next and he IS the cop lol. I think I still have to go with my 1st thought on Dice and say he is likely to be the Cop. -
